RON PAUL SAYS HE'S "PRETTY MAINSTREAM"...

Ok, I have just one question here.  What is the objective regarding the 2012 election?  I thought it was to defeat Barack Hussein Obama.  In that end, do we want a candiate who says he's "pretty mainstream" and "pretty electable?"  I'm just not seeing Paul as being the guy to take down Barry. And quite honestly, I think he's a nut.

  1. Some 2/3rds of American voters since the mid-60s -- when asked whether the biggest threat to American survival (a) big business, (b) big labor, or (c) big government -- has answered c. Who among the Republican candidates is actually talking about serious cuts to the size, scope, and spending of that government?

  2. I know. But I look at this guy and see a grouchy old grandpa who hasn't got a chance in Hell of beating Barry. And while, I suppose his stand on some domestic issues make a certain amount of sense, I worry about where he's coming from regarding foreign policy. Because, like it or not, that has to be taken in consideration when chossing who to vote for.

  3. On fiscal policy and domestic Constitutional matters, he is superb. Regarding anything involving the military and anything beyond our shoreline, he is naive and ignorant. He believes 9-11 happened because our military involvement in the middle east over the past 30 years contributed to Islam being at war with the entire non-muslim world for the past 1300+ years.
