As if straight out of some twisted, modern day, version of George Orwell's "1984," we had Barry "Almighty" at a campaign event Monday evening at the Capital Hilton in Washington, D.C., attended by what must have been nothing more than a bunch of mind-numbed robots. It was then that Barry indicated that he had, in fact, successfully brought about what he defined as "change," that very ambiguous 2008 campaign promise/bumper sticker slogan, by killing terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden. Gee, I guess I was completely unaware of how it was, back in 2008, that Barry was actually choosing to define the word "change," and what those things were that constituted what he then described as being "change." So is what we are now supposed to believe what he meant, throughout all of 2008, is that all of his talk of change actually meant he was going to eventually kill Osama bin Laden? From the official White House transcript regarding last nights' event:
"And change is keeping one of the first promises I made in 2008 -- ending the war in Iraq and bringing our troops home. The war is over and our troops are home. And instead, we refocused our efforts on the terrorists who actually attacked us on 9/11. And thanks to our brave men and women in uniform, al Qaeda is weaker than it’s ever been, and Osama bin Laden will never again walk the face of this Earth. That’s what change is."
Is this not the most idiotic bunch of drivel you've ever heard come from any president? The war is over? How about you tell that to the murdering zealots who are still busy blowing shit up. Just because our Moron-in-Chief pulled our troops out of Iraq, and for no other reason than pure politics, I might add, by no means should that lead anyone to mistakenly believe that the war is actually over. And for this imbecile to still be claiming credit for the killing of Osama bin Laden is so lame as to be completely unbelievable. Our stellar president also proceeded to list Obamacare as being change he was responsible for, though he kinda skipped over the fact that his signature piece of legislation is suffering from a rather extremely high level of unpopularity from the people who it is now being forced upon. You know those non-union folks that aren't part of the over 500,000+ workers able to obtain a waiver courtesy of their respective unions. Those of you who weren't fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of the over 1200 waivers granted by Barry’s HHS.
But such claims were far from being everything that was on the mind of our "Dear Beloved Leader." No, he was just getting warmed up and was far from being done as he then proceeded to launch into one of his, by now, trademark demonstrations of self-congratulatory delusions of grandeur. He continued the evening by spewing some of his most toxic rhetoric to date, and taking things to a whole new level by warning, anyone who would listen, that those evil and very extreme Republicans threaten the "very core of what this country stands for." Can you imagine? Here is a guy who has done absolutely everything he can to completely dismantle this country and he has the gall to point a bony finger and the Republicans and soundly accuse them as being the ones who threaten the "very core of what this country stands for?" Is he serious? Are there really enough people left who are stupid enough to believe such pathological nonsense. What follows is Barry in his own words:
"The very core of what this country stands for is on the line -- the basic promise that no matter what you look like, no matter where you come from, this is a place where you could make it if you try. The notion that we're all in this together, that we look out for one another -- that's at stake in this election. Don't take my word for it. Watch some of these debates that have been going on up in New Hampshire."
So that's where we are now. Listening to the rants of an individual so consumed with himself that he feels justified in making all manner of accusation no matter how ludicrous they sound, and with absolutely no basis is fact. In his effort to win, nothing is to be considered as being out of bounds or outside the realm of decency. All is to be considered as being fair game, unless of course, it is used by the other side. Then it is to be said that those dastardly Republicans are showing their desperation by resorting to gutter politics, stooping to whatever means necessary to win. You see, it's only the Democrat’s who are permitted to use such tactics, because it is they who are truly the purest of heart. For they are the true defenders of the poor and downtrodden. Bullshit, what they are, are the reason that we have those poor and downtrodden in the first place. They are the casualties in the Democrat war, the only war they support, in their efforts to acquire political power. And the sooner the American people realize this, the better off our country will be.
