OUR MISSION IS CLEAR, OUR TIME IS NOW…OBAMA MUST GO!
Ok, I must admit that I'm more than just a little confused here. The reason for my current state of confusion has to do with what would normally appear to be some rather conflicting information. You see, while many elements of our society appear to be shifting ever-further toward the left end of the political spectrum and at an ever-increasing rate of speed, a recent Gallup poll released just this past Thursday would seem to indicate just the opposite. You see, according to this survey, conservatives continue to make up the largest political segment in the country, outnumbering liberals by nearly two-to-one. So I find myself asking, if that's so, then just what the Hell is going one here? Are liberals simply that much smarter in how they go about executing an agenda that's specifically designed to destroy our country than we conservatives are in how we go about trying to prevent them from doing so? If that's the case, then we had better smarten up and quick, or we'll be living in a country that will soon be completely unrecognizable to us. We can't afford to wait, we've already wasted far too much time.
The recent Gallup poll to which I refer seems to show that 40 percent of all Americans now identify themselves as being conservative; while 35 percent see themselves as moderate; and 21 percent view themselves as liberal. The figures are essentially no different than they were back in 2010 and conservatives have outnumbered both moderates and liberals for three years running now. According to Politico, "Conservatives began outstripping moderates in 2008, and the percentage of moderates has declined steadily over the last two decades, from 43 percent 1992 to 35 percent in 2011. In fact, both self-identified conservatives and liberals have risen in number since the early 1990s, indicating a growing polarization in American politics. While self-identified conservatives dominate the Republican Party, making up 71 percent, the Democratic Party is more split – 39 percent of Democrats view themselves as liberal, and 38 percent consider themselves moderates." So you would think that the numbers would be there for us to put the brakes on this leftward slide, and yet the slide seems to continue be accelerating unhindered.
It might be worth noting here that, at least according to the poll’s findings, independents are mainly moderate (41 percent), but veer more towards conservatism (35 percent) than liberalism (20 percent). Look I don't buy any of this "moderate" or "independent" crap. And at some point very soon, these supposed "moderates and/or independents" are going to have to get off the fence and make some sort of commitment regarding their willingness to fight for the survival of our country. What seems to be playing out here is a scenario the likes of which would have had the guys in the Alamo whipping Santa Ana's army or Custer's 7th Cavalry coming out on top over the Indians in the battle at Little Big Horn. Now does that make any sense to anyone? Other than some boneheaded liberal of course. Personally I think it is now well past the time for us to start flexing our conservative muscle and work toward the ridding ourselves of Barry "Almighty" and getting Congress back on the "right" side of the important issues. What we need to do this year, is to build upon what was accomplished in the election of 2010.
But as we have seen, many on our side either didn't get the message that was so loudly sent that day in November 2010, or they simply chose to ignore it and us. So essentially what we have now been forced to do is to take matters even more into our own hands. And make no mistake here, it's not only Democrats who have proven themselves to be the speed bump regarding our being able to reclaim our country, there are plenty of guilty Republicans as well. We have guys like John McCain and Lindsey Graham, and of course lets not forget the girls from Maine, to name only four. There are many more than just these four "moderates," and what we need to now be focusing in on, is the replacing of them at our earliest opportunity. We no longer really have the luxury to fool around and wait for them to see the light. This coming election could very likely prove to be our last chance to make a stand. And if there really are all those conservatives out there, there would not be a better time than November of this year for them to find their voice. Because you know what they say, "Like sand through an hourglass, so are the days of our lives."
(The Gallup poll was conducted with 20,392 respondents and allows for a margin of error of plus or minus one.)

Your commentary is duly noted and I don't have issue with it, Dan. However comma I am not 100% sold on the definition of "conservative" as presented. Given my marketing research background, I really don't have confidence in many/most polls that rely on the respondent to define generalizations such as "conservatve," etc.
