In a previous post I wrote about the exceptional ability possessed by what seems is a majority of Democrats that seems to enable them to talk out of their ass. I specifically mentioned Pelosi ,and Barry, as being the most skilled, but I'd like to add another highly skilled practitioner of the fine art of ass-talking. And that individual is (drum roll), none other than that proverbial old gasbag himself, Steny Hoyer. You see, it was just this week during one of his little weekly get togethers with members of the state-controlled media, otherwise known as the propaganda arm of the Democrat Party, that old Steny said that back in December there just were not enough Democrat votes for raising taxes on wealthier Americans as part of the "compromise" that resulted in extending the payroll tax cuts for 2 stupid months. Actually, the whole fiasco was less a compromise than it was a cave by the House Republican leadership, but I think we all recognize that fact. Anyway old Steny said, Democrats didn’t insist on that [higher taxes for the wealthy] in December,” Hoyer said at his weekly press briefing on Monday. “That is – I think – what we think is the wisest way to proceed but obviously in the Senate they don’t have a majority for that proposition.” Of course not. The only solution to our current fiscal mess identified by boobs like Steny always involve the hiking of taxes.
I'm sure we all remember that silly little exercise in stupidity, referred to as "compromise," this past December that resulted in the payroll tax cuts being extended for two months and the disappointment I think most of us felt because our House leadership demonstrated their lack of possessing anything that would even remotely resemble a spine. They caved after Senate negotiators determined they could not reach a "compromise" with obstinate Democrats on a year-long extension before the tax cuts were set to expire on Dec. 31, 2011. Now Congress has until the end of February to negotiate an extension for the remainder of the year or payroll taxes will rise on every working American. Both Republicans and Democrats support extending the tax cuts through 2012, leaving only the details of how to offset them left to negotiate. Steny said there would be a compromise of some kind but would not comment on just what Democrats might be "willing to accept" in terms of spending cuts to offset the lost revenue. “Obviously, a compromise will have to be reached [but] I’m not going to go into the possibilities – the conferees are going to have to work on that. Obviously, whatever we do has to be paid for [offset] and we want to see the middle class tax cut extended through December 31,” he said. Sure they do, he's just talkin out his ass again!
Now I have an interesting little concept that I'd like to present to old Steny and his fellow socialists there in Congress, even though I'm fairly confident that they probably won't like all that much. Anyway, here's what I'm thinkin, how about we just STOP all of the crazy, wasteful spending! We stop giving away taxpayer money that we don't have, won't have and can never possibly earn! Now of course if this current rate of spending is nothing more than a means to an end for Steny and his comrades, like, say, a way to advance their seeking a way to destroy this country and its freedoms, then I guess we can't count on them working to curb the spending. Somewhere along the way I must have missed what can only be described as being the demise of the Democrat Party, that point in time where guys like "Scoop" Jackson and Sam Nunn were replaced by a bunch of power-hungry Progressive Socialists/Marxists who care only about themselves, the acquisition of political power and the destruction of our country. And those who think absolutely nothing of going out and lying to us on, what is, a daily basis. Is there any wonder why they want the American people to be not only uninformed but disarmed as well? They see the Constitution as being an impediment to their mission, that's why they hate all that it stands for and constantly ignore it.
Before long, we the people will be that last line of defense, the only thing standing between the Democrats and the drive to destroy our country. What worries me though, is how many of will be willing to make that commitment and stand up to these political hooligans. We are being "invaded" from within, by these sleazy characters who are desperate to convince us that they have only our best interests at heart. It's just more of they're continuing to talk out their ass. Democrats are busy eroding every means we have of defending ourselves against a government that is growing more powerful and intrusive with each passing day. Someday I have a difficulty time determining who it is that represents the bigger threat to our country, Muslim extremists trying to blow us up from the outside, or Democrats trying to destroy us from the inside. Even worse there are times that it crosses my mind that they may even be allies in the effort to bring down America. Barry and his communist leaning minions continue to wage war against anyone who dares to enforce the law. It seems to be the only war that they have any interest in. People like Hoyer, Van Hollen, Pelosi, Durbin, Schumer, Napolitano, Holder as well as Barry "Almighty' himself, just to name a few have no respect whatsoever for the Constitution and everyday violate their oath of office.
Democrats have always been the ones who have been busy leading the war against this country. But in recent years they have become much more aggressive in their efforts, culminating with the election of Barack Hussein Obama. Its obvious that their plan is to impoverish each and every one of us and then enslave us to an all powerful government until we eventually get to the point where we are completely unable to fight back. And anyone who thinks that Barry "Almighty," is anything other than a committed and very determined enemy of this country hasn't read his books. All one has to do is to actually read his words! Look at the kind of people he's surrounded himself with not only today, but in the past. Look at the list of those who he calls his heroes! Then you have these idiots like Hoyer who go around spouting off a bunch of lies in his defense! The worst part is the number of our rights that Barry and company have now managed to destroy and in a very short time! And yet there still remains a substantial number of morons who will gladly vote for him again. IT'S AMAZING! Trust me when I say, there is much more to come. And the anemic resistance the Republicans are offering up is paltry at best and at worst nonexistent. You know, those morons who suggest that we should hand complete control of our government over to the Democrats so as to reduce "gridlock" have no idea what they're asking for.
