LITTLE DOUBT LEFT THAT MANY MORONS CURRENTLY RESIDE IN OHIO….

YOUR TYPICAL OHIOANS?

I mentioned just yesterday that we would soon know precisely just how stupid those folks who live in Ohio really are. And, now we do! Sadly, in they're having now decided to essentially pass the buck to the younger generation the people of Ohio, by pretty much of an overwhelming majority, have proven themselves to be pretty stupid. The proved the proof by their deciding to repeal the hotly debated new law that would have severely limited the bargaining rights of more than 350,000 teachers, firefighters, police officers and other public employees was repealed with more than 60 percent of the vote. The defeat was a stinging blow to Gov. John Kasich and cast doubt on other Republican governors who have sought union-limiting measures as a means to curb spending. Others cannot allow this to dissuade them from doing the things that they know need to be done to reign in out of control spending.

"Ohio sent a message to every politician out there: Go in and make war on your employees rather than make jobs with your employees, and you do so at your own peril," AFL-CIO President Richard "The Douche Bag" Trumka said. The 60 percent who voted for repeal really accomplished nothing more that to prove how easily they can be manipulated, and how they can be persuaded, and with very little effort, to kick the can down the road. I can only surmise that they are very content with the fact that not only must they cover the cost of their own benefits but also the much more lavish benefits of those 350,000 public workers who seem to think it somehow unfair that they should be asked to cough up any of the expense for their own, rather extravagant, benefits packages. Benefits that most of the taxpayers who are now being called upon to fork over the cost of those benefits, could never hope to afford.

Kasich congratulated his opponents and pledged to consider his next steps carefully. "I've heard their voices. I understand their decision, and frankly, I respect what people have to say in an effort like this," he said, adding that the vote requires him "to take a deep breath" and "spend some time reflecting on what happened here."  The disputed law permitted workers to negotiate wages but not pensions or health care benefits, and it banned public-worker strikes, scrapped binding arbitration and eliminated annual raises for teachers. The outcome will no doubt be studied by presidential candidates as a gauge of the Ohio electorate, which is seen as a bellwether. No Republican has won the White House without Ohio, and only two Democrats have done so in more than a century. So I guess we'll see how this all plays out over the course of the next few months.

So from here on out the people of Ohio will have no one to blame but themselves as either services are cut or taxes are raised. And for what exactly? For no other reason than so those 350,000 public employees can continue to receive their very lavish benefits packages at no cost to them. With all the talk of fairness being spewed by any number of Democrats, how fair is this little arrangement? I mean really, how fair? But, if that's what the people of Ohio have decided, who am I to say anything different. But don't come whining to me when the shit hits the fan. As that old saying goes, they've made their bed, now they have to lie in it. They were provided with a choice, a very rational choice and they made a conscious decision to side with those whose sense of entitlement far outstrips the ability of those required to pick up the tab to do so.

  1. I take it the gentlemen pictured are the authors and webmasters of this site?

Referring to Richard Trumpka as "The Douche Bag" is proof that you are a low life, low intellect, low information (a pc way of telling you you're stupid).

Typical Tea Party type idiocy and mis-information. You have now been identified.

  2. I actually thought it was pretty funny. I'll be dead in 100 years or less, as will most you who read this meaningless opinion of mine. I'm thankful to live in a time of humanity where we understand that natural selection is actively at work, without the confines of politics or religion. Just good 'ol nature/God/higher power/M Theory/etc. at work. Gotta love it. Btw, what's on tap?
