HAWAII'S PART OF ASIA? WHO KNEW?

Well it would seem that all manner of excuses are now flying around as being the reason that Barry somehow thought that he was in Asia when he was actually in Hawaii. Everything is being blamed, from his suffering from jet lag, to the fact that he must have had Asia on his mind as he was bringing closure to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation summit he hosted in Hawaii. Whatever it was, it caused him to have a "brain freeze" moment when Barry confused the state of his supposed birth with his being somewhere in Asia. But hey, it's no big deal, right? It's not as if some stupid Republican had made such a idiotic mistake. Now that would be funny, because we all know how stupid all of those guys, and gals, are!



During the APEC summit’s wrap-up news conference near Honolulu on Sunday, Barry answered a question about budget cuts thusly: "When I meet with world leaders, what's striking — whether it's in Europe or here in Asia — the kinds of fundamental reforms and changes, both on the revenue side and the public pension side, that other countries are having to make are so much more significant than what we need to do in order to get our books in order," Barry said. It must have come as quite a surprise to the other attendees who, I can only guess, had no idea that Hawaii had somehow become a part of Asia. Maybe as a possession of China, perhaps to be used as collateral for the trillions of dollars of our debt that they currently hold.


Although Hawaii floats between Asia and the United States, the island chain has been a part of these 57 states, since it joined the other 56 states in 1959. He began the 42-minute news conference by thanking the people of Hawaii for their hospitality in hosting the 21 presidents who attended the Asia-Pacific summit. Then I guess he suffered one of those "momentary lapses" that he and his many minions in the state controlled media, are so quick to jump on when conservatives become similarly afflicted. It's only funny when it happens to the other guys. When it happens to someone who is as bright as Barry is supposed to, it's all just explained away, if it's mentioned at all.
