FILE THIS ONE UNDER…SICK AND DEPRAVED…

Another example of the outright moral decay on the left that seems to become a bit more obvious with each passing day, and usually requiring very little stimulation from the outside world, has been given a boost, of sorts, lately. You see it’s helped along of late by the murder spree of one ex-LA cop, Christopher Dorner. Dorner has now been accused of three revenge killings and left behind what been described as being a rather lengthy manifesto outlining all of his grievances as well as what he described as being his observations. That manifesto has given investigators some clues, but they still don’t know where Dorner is. Law enforcement did spend roughly four hours searching his mom’s Orange County home and ended up taking out about 10 grocery bags filled with alleged evidence. The left’s current favorite nut, Dorner, lost his job with the Los Angeles Police Department back in 2008.

His ‘manifesto’ vows revenge for that, and, surprisingly, or not, thousands of people actually support him. It’s hard to believe, at least for me, that there are those who actually sympathize with a man targeting police officers. One Facebook page is proclaiming Dorner for president. "We propose electing a man who could no longer sit idly by and watch as malicious tyrants abuse the innocent." The description on "We Are All Chris Dorner" chillingly says, "Yes, this is war." Nearly 3,000 people like the page "I Support Christopher Jordan Dorner." CBS13 posted a simple question: Why? Why support a man wanted for at least three killings and the author of a murderous manifesto promising to target cops? One sympathizer wrote us, "Because something needs to be done about the long known corruption of not only the LAPD, but several agencies." Another comment read, "He is god for now and I support him and this page."

"Most people would be shocked and appalled that people would support this," said Sid Martinez, who I guess is some assistant professor of sociology at Sacramento State. However, Martinez says he’s not surprised by the outpouring of support. He points to a long history of distrust and tension between parts of Southern California and the police, as the motivation behind the movement. Some are celebrating this former cop turned alleged cop-killer as a vigilante administering a sick kind of justice. "So, to see someone kill police officers, they may see this as a kind of way of standing against oppressive force," said Martinez. A number of supposed fake Twitter accounts have popped up and are only adding to the surprising debate. Most likely those fake accounts come from many of our so-called celebrities simply trying to hide their identities. Our gutless celebrities love to spew hate but don’t want to be made to face any consequences.

And in speaking about these celebrities, we have none other than everybody’s favorite burnout, Charlie Sheen, who was singled out by Dorner, wanting to do his part to bring the ex-LAPD officer safely into custody. However, I would argue, there seems to be very few willing to the lengths that Sheen seems willing to go. Sheen has recorded a video plea asking the wanted man to call him to talk things out. Dorner -- who is accused of killing three people including a cop -- mentioned a number of celebs in his online "manifesto," and wrote about Sheen, "Charlie Sheen, you’re effin awesome." Sheen recorded the message to Dorner a few days ago, saying, "You mentioned me in your manifesto, so thank you for your kind words. I am urging you to call me. Let's figure out together how to end this thing." So far there’s no evident that Dorner took Sheen’s words to heart, as he still remains at large.

And with Dorner being black we should have know that it would only be a matter of time before Jesse "The Extortionist" Jackson made an appearance somewhere. This little gem came from his website: "Dear Christopher Dorner, I understand your feelings of hurt and pain. I make this plea to you to stop spreading the pain, the hurt, and the fear. Please stop. Don’t take any more lives. Christopher, your mother is distraught and deeply concerned for your safety. There are many good and credible people in Los Angeles who will help you. Danny J. Bakewell Sr. (The Los Angeles Sentinel’s Executive Publisher/CEO) ,Bishop Noel Jones, Bishop Kenneth Ulmer and Rev. Charles Singleton are all individuals I know personally. I promise that they will gladly receive you. I will do whatever I can do for you without hesitation. Please contact me through Danny Bakewell at the L.A. Sentinel. Reverend Jesse L. Jackson Sr." And this pathetic douche bag calls himself a reverend. You’d think Sr. would be focusing more on Jr. who, as word has it, is going to prison.

So many on the left now have a new hero, of sorts, to cheer on as only they can. Their new cause celebre comes in the person of yet another cop killer, Christopher Dorner. I have no doubt, whatsoever, that we have many Hollywood types out there who are most likely secretly, or not so secretly, applauding his murderous exploits. And some of whom, I wouldn’t be the least surprised to find out, were among those who lent their faces and voices to a recent anti-gun ad the sprung up from out there in their neck of the woods. And when you then throw in clowns like Jackson, ever on the prowl to plaster his ugly mug in front of any roving television camera and many of those in our blatantly leftist/state-controlled media who have been quite busy, of late, spinning the murdering Dorner as being some kind of a whistleblowing victim of LAPD injustice, it all makes for less than a very pretty picture.
