MANY CELEBRITY “FAR SHARE” ADVOCATES, OWE BIG BUCKS…

California tax authorities recently revealed the state’s 500 biggest income tax delinquents on Friday, and wonder of wonders, a surprising number of Hollywood elites and other so-called celebrities, seem to have made the list. We have Pamela Anderson, the “Baywatch” star, and who really hasn’t done much since, who reportedly owes $524,241 in unpaid taxes, and an old washed up Lionel Richie who owes $1.1 million. Also there’s CNET co-founder Halsey Minor and his wife who owe $10.5 million, while that proverbial pervert and founder of “Girls Gone Wild”, Joe Francis, owes $794,000. Similarly, we have actor Nick Cassavetes and boxer James Toney seemingly owe $273,000 and $354,000, respectively. These people are nothing but scumbags. Rich scum bags, but still scumbags.

These 500 delinquents collectively owe nearly $233 million in back taxes, according to the IRS, prompting the California tax board to scold: “When taxpayers do not pay their fair share, it places an unfair burden on those who do.” Now on a more personal note, I know someone, a couple, who made a mistake on their 2010 taxes and received much more than a scolding from the IRS for doing so. These folks do their own taxes and have been for a number of years. But they made an error that resulted in them paying $5000 less in taxes than they should have. So they get this condescending letter, which was basically a threat, that they had essentially three weeks to pay up or face a very stiff penalty. Oh, and they also had to pay an addition $1400 in what was described as “interest”.  Now, these folks are far from rich, and in order to meet the demands of the IRS, an IRA account had to be drained.  Is that fair?

Anyway, the news about all of these pathetic tax cheats follows Barry “Almighty’s” idiotic campaign to raise taxes on those earning over $1 million in what is being deemed the “Buffet Rule” after the billionaire who reportedly wants his taxes raised. The White House website even allows viewers to “find out how many millionaires pay a lower effective tax rate than you.” But how many of these deadbeats continue to get away with paying no taxes. I guess as long as you’re a Barry supporter you shouldn’t be bothered with something as trivial as paying taxes. And you know, what’s really hypocritical here is how “Team Barry Almighty” is now saying that Mitt Romney should produce the last 17 years of his tax returns. If I was Mitt Romney I’d be telling them to go fu(kin pound sand!
