HYPOCRISY ONCE AGAIN RUNNING RAMPANT IN THE SENATE…

THREE STOOGES OF THE SENATE

Sleazy Democrats ever on the prowl to cast the opposition as the ones being obstructionist, Democrats will try to do so yet again this week as they will try to blame Republicans for killing Barry “Almighty’s” jobs bill. That despite the fact that many of those very same Democrats don't support the president's proposal either. Senate Democrats, lead by “Dingy” Harry have already rewritten portions of Barry's $447 billion job package and on Tuesday they are expected to put it to a crucial test vote, knowing full well that while the changes make the measure easier for fellow Democrats to support, Republican senators are going to oppose it, leaving them open to charges that it was they who killed it. With Democrats in charge of either house of Congress, the possibility of ever honestly discussing the merits or the faults of any potential piece of legislation is non-existent. As with Barry “Almighty,” it must always be their way of the highway.

The newest version of this non-jobs bill, stitched together by old “Dingy himself, dropped Barry's proposal to pay for the measure by raising taxes on individuals earning $200,000 or more a year. “Dingy” replaced that tax increase with a 5 percent surcharge only on those earning $1 million or more a year. Even with the revisions, “Dingy”, is well aware of the fact that he doesn't have the 60 votes needed to actually move the bill to the Senate floor. Republicans remain united in opposing any spending measure that includes a tax increase. But all that “Dingy” is really hoping to accomplish with Tuesday's vote has nothing to do with actually passing the bill. It’s all about gutter politics. Because all old “Dingy” is attempting to demonstrate here is that a majority of Democrats, at least 51, do support the president's efforts to create jobs while leaving Republicans the blame for killing off the massive jobs initiative at a time of high unemployment and economic uncertainty for many families.

"What will be surprising, if this comes to pass, is that so few Republicans will vote for it," White House press secretary Jay “The lying sack of dog squeeze” Carney said Friday, "given that the American public so strongly supports the provisions of the American Jobs Act and is demanding quite clearly that Washington take action on the people's number one priority, which is to do something about the economy, to get it growing, and to get hiring accelerated." Who is it in the American public that “so strongly supports” this bill, a bill that accomplishes nothing more than the wasting of yet another half a Trillion dollars? This corrupt White House still seems to think that it can simply say anything, no matter how patently false, and we the gullible masses will simply nod our collective head in agreement. While many will, hopefully enough will see this for what it is, a campaign stunt.

The maneuvering in the Senate is designed to bolster Barry's claims, repeated at stops across the county over the past month, that Republicans are the only obstacle to getting thousands of construction workers, firefighters and teachers back to work. And if you can believe some polls this line of attack seems to be working with the less intelligent among us. All of these fictitious claims are all part of Barry's re-election master plan to use congressional Republicans as a foil, but there are still a number of Democratic lawmakers who don't support his proposal. Sen. Ben Nelson, D-Neb., a supposed “moderate” facing a tough re-election battle next year, told The Washington Examiner he won't back the plan even in its revised form. "I think we need to cut spending in this town, not raise taxes," Nelson said.

Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., is among those who opposed the president's original bill and still hasn't agreed to back the “revised” version, balking at the proposal's price tag. If enough Senate Democrats remain opposed to the bill, all that the party leaders will do is to simply change it yet again, a move they would not rule out late last week. "We're talking to everyone," Senate Majority Whip “Little Dick” Durbin, D-Ill., said in a recent interview. Senate Democrats huddled with Barry “Almighty” on Friday to discuss the jobs package and “Dim Bulb” Carney said after the meeting that the White House expects "an overwhelming majority" of Senate Democrats to support it Tuesday. But if the bill falls short of a 51-vote majority, Democrats could have a hard time blaming the Republicans. But as always with Democrats it always comes down to politics and doing, or saying, whatever is necessary at the present time. Many most likely will simply choose to support it because they know it is doomed to failure with Republican support, so for those folks it’s a win/win scenario. The bill is defeated and they get to blame the Republicans.

Such is the level of chicanery currently underway in the U.S. Senate, and all in an attempt to hoodwink the American people as election year fast approaches. The top priority of the Democrats, including Barry “Almighty” is not the welfare of the American people as a whole, but only those who form the core constituencies of the party. That’s because their top priority is, as always, the winning of elections and remaining in power. And they will use whatever method that they think will provide to them their greatest chance at success. Michael Steel, spokesman for House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio said, "The president's proposal faces bipartisan opposition in both houses of Congress, because everyone knows that more 'stimulus' spending and job-killing tax hikes won't get our economy moving again." And that is the fact in this matter. Someone has to say no to this nonsense, and if the American people are too stupid, too selfish or to lazy to see that, well then they can vote for Barry and the Democrats and get see just how much worse things can get! Sadly though, they’ll be dragging the rest of us down with them.
