OBAMA'S DEMANDING THAT HIS "JOBS PLAN" BE PASSED…NOW!!!

Barry "Almighty" has said that he'll be sending his jobs bill to Congress on Monday, today, and is loudly making demands that lawmakers should now work to get it passed immediately with a minimum of games, politics or delays. So what he's really expecting here, I can only surmise, is that for Congress to merely rubberstamp his little $450 billion boondoggle so that he can then set about getting us even further into debt. The arrogance of this man, as they say, knows no bounds. I mean, here you have a guy with absolutely zero executive experience, a guy who has spent most of his adult life as a "community agitator" in the most politically corrupt city in the country, Chicago, before then spending a brief and uninspiring time in the Illinois State Senate and before finally moving on to the U.S. Senate where his tenure can easily be measured in days, and thus feels capable enough, if not entitled, to literally demand having his legislation passed without even the most cursory of reviews. This egotistical malcontent apparently views the Congress as being either completely unworthy, or simply not qualified, in being able to pass judgment on anything that he deems as being appropriate legislation. Now knowing how well his first attempt worked at "creating" jobs, who in their right mind would simply pass this latest attempt of Barry's. But that will not stop Barry from attempting to bully people into supporting it. But Republicans need to remain firmly against what so obviously is nothing more than a political ploy and part of Barry's re-election campaign.

According to Barry, the plan unveiled in a speech to Congress last week will succeed where his previous attempts have all failed. According to Barry, it will create thousands of new jobs, no mention of how many it might save, through a blend of tax cuts, spending on public works projects and aid to state and local governments. ForexTV.com has a little more information on the proposal: The centerpiece of the plan is an extension and further cut in the payroll tax, which alone accounts for roughly $240 billion of the $447 billion plan. The measure would lower the payroll tax paid by employees to 3.1 per cent. It currently stands at 4.2 per cent, lowered from the normal 6.2 per cent rate after a tax deal passed last year. Without an extension, the extension will expire on December 31. The plan also includes, among other measures, $140 billion in infrastructure spending, $35 billion in aid to local and state governments in an effort to stem the tide of layoffs of teachers, police officers, and firefighters, and $49 billion to keep the duration of unemployment insurance at 99 weeks. Other than bending over backwards to help out his union buddies, what if anything does this latest monstrosity accomplish? Ah, that would be nothing. And for him to portray himself as expecting businesses to be satisfied with what is nothing more than a short term band-aid, at least to the point where they would actually consider hiring more people, proves that he is far from being serious when it comes to actually getting Americans working again.

During the speech, which was more of an ultimatum really, Barry reiterated his call to Congress to act swiftly on his jobs proposals. Aside from pushing hard to ensure passage, he slammed opponents who he sees as putting politics ahead of country: “This is the bill I’m sending to Congress today…a bill that will put people back to work all across the country. The only thing that is stopping passage of this bill is politics. These are not games we are playing. People are out of work.” Blah, blah blah! He has no idea whether this will get people working, it's just another pathetic example to make it appear like he's concerned and is doing something. But he's not concerned, in fact he could care less. Barry’s address took place in the Rose Garden, where he was surrounded by teachers, police officers and firefighters – people the White House says would benefit from the bill. In an interview with NBC’s Brian Williams, the president claimed that his proposal ”almost certainly helps the economy grow and will put more people back to work, and that’s what the American people want right now.” Additionally, he claims that the plan will prevent a double-dip recession. As the president stated, the White House is sending the bill to Capitol Hill later in the day on Monday. Then on Tuesday and Wednesday, Barry plans to visit Ohio and North Carolina to rally the public to pressure lawmakers to pass it.

Anybody who is too stupid to see what this really is, has swallowed far too much of the Barry "Kool-Aid." Or they are as dumb as Maxine Waters. Barry is in full campaign mode, in fact, I think it pretty plain to see that he really never come out of it. I mean, here we are three years into his term and still anything having to do with our continuing economic slump is not his fault. And while he continues to only dig us in deeper he says he's only doing so in an effort to dig us out of the mess that George Bush got us into. Does that really make sense, or is it cents, to anyone? That kind of logic just does not make a lick of sense to me. We just can't continue to go one like this, at some point some level of accountability is going to need to be assigned to it's rightful place, with Barry "Almighty." We can no longer afford to pretend that our worsening economy and our precarious financial situation has anything to do with Bush. It's now way past time for Barry to now accept ownership of where we now are and how it is that we got here, because, say what he wants about Bush, it's Barry policies which have made thing so very much worse. And he just hasn't the guts, or the character to admit it. He hasn't been much of a president really, and shows no signs of becoming one in the very near future. So at this point what sense does it make to re-elect him? I would argue that it makes no sense at all, just like his continuing "jobs plans."
