'Slow Joe' Biden, God love him, gives a whole new meaning to the word, MORON. It kinda makes you wonder just how the Hell did he get his job. Was it because the folks in Delaware are morons. My reason for even bringing this up is all based on something that 'Slow Joe' said during a recent campaign stop out there in Burlington, Iowa. You see, our stellar vice president actually criticized Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for saying that he wanted to help middle class Americans in the $250,000 range and below. Now I may be crazy, and totally in the tank for Romney, but 'Slow Joe's" attack on Romney just doesn't make any sense.
I guess what sent 'Slow Joe' over the edge were Romney‘s comments which came last week during an on interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” with Clinton retread and faux journalist, 'Little Stephie' Stephanopoulos. It was during the interview that Romney told Stephie that, “No one can say my plan is going to raise taxes on middle-income people, because principle number one is (to) keep the burden down on middle-income taxpayers,” Stephie countered by asking, “Is $100,000 middle income?” To which Romney responded, “No, middle income is $200,000 to $250,000 and less.” And with the dollar being worth what it is these days, I'd say Romney is correct.
And apparently old 'Slow Joe' thought that that amount was simply way too much. “He thinks the middle class is $200,000 to $250,000. Whoa! Whoa!” 'Slow Joe' said much to the crowd’s amusement. He that asked, “Don’t you all wish you were in that middle class? Whoa!” Continuing to make absolutely no sense whatsoever, 'Slow Joe' ranted, “He’s totally out of touch with the reality of what ordinary Americans deal with every day.” 'Slow Joe' finally bellowed, “He does not get it. He does not understand.” Personally, I'd say the ones that don't get what it is that ordinary Americans are forced to deal with in a daily basis, is the Lewis and Martin team running on the Democrat ticket.
You see, there’s something that I just not quite understanding here. Remember all that stuff about extending the Bush-era tax cuts for the middle class? And do you remember who Barry "Almighty" said he wanted to extend those middle class tax breaks for? Oh, that’s right: People in the $250,000 range and below. “I believe it is time to let the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, folks like myself, to expire,” Barry said back in July. “Anyone making over $250,000 a year should go back to the income tax rates we were paying under Bill Clinton.” I remember quite clearly hearing Barry declare, “Pass a bill extending the tax cuts for the middle class, I will sign it tomorrow.”.
And if I remember things correctly Barry isn’t alone when he uses the $250,000 figure when talking about the middle class. Even pathetic old 'Dingy' Harry Reid has gone on the record saying he sees no problem with this number and Nancy "Old Stretch" Pelosi has also said the limit should be $250,000. But you better believe Barry's campaign is going to use this nonsense as further proof that Romney is somehow out-of-touch. “As the vice president made clear in his remarks today, Mitt Romney’s proposals are out-of-touch — he would voucherize Medicare, and pay for new tax cuts for the wealthy by hiking them on the middle class,” a campaign aide told the Huffington Post.
Realistically speaking, it's a pretty rare occasion when 'Slow Joe' makes a point that is anywhere near being clear, or even all that accurate. Hence the mostly likely reason for Hufffington Post saw reason to throw him a rope. The above statement continued by saying, “While President Obama is fighting for middle class families and has cut their taxes every year he’s been in office, nonpartisan studies have made clear that Mitt Romney’s tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires come from only one place — the pockets of middle class families. That’s the clear choice in this election.” The election is a clear choice, a very clear choice. And Barry IS NOT fighting for middle class families.
I'm really getting tired of all this constant harping about how it is that Romney is so out of touch with everyday Americans. There is only one candidate in this race who is actually on the side if middle class families. And it ain't Barry. If anyone has shown themselves to be out of touch with anyone but the parasites in our society, it's Barry. Now granted these may be the very folks that Romney may be out of touch with, you know the ones who think they are so deserving of a free ride. But that would only be because he's never been that way, he's always been willing to work. So in that respect it's a little difficult for him to relate to someone who thinks that way. Whereas Barry, well, enough said.
