PELOSI DECLARES SENIORS TOO STUPID TO SEE WHAT'S GOING ON AND WILL CHEERFULLY VOTE DEMOCRAT...

Evidently, our illustrious minority Leader over there in the House, has a pretty low opinion of this nation's senior citizens. You see, she seems to be of the opinion that they are actually stupid enough to disregard the facts regarding what the Democrats have perpetrated against them and remain quite willing to vote for those same Democrats this November and in sufficient numbers to allow Nancy to, once again, assume the role of Speaker. So I gotta ask, are those who make up our greatest generation, as "Stretch" Pelosi says, really too stupid to recognize what's going on right before their very eyes to the point where they remain willing to cheerfully go off and vote for the likes of Nancy?

I mean Nancy does seem pretty confident here, and she also seemed to laugh off any real chance of a Mitt Romney presidency. And at the same time, she was heard to be trumpeting the real possibility that the Democrats will also succeed in retaking the House. All this came about during a recent interview that aired this past Sunday over there on the Communist News Network (CNN). Pelosi, was speaking with that beached whale, Candy Crowley on CNN's “State of the Union,” and pointed to one issue in particular that she thinks will be the saving grace for Democrats and will deliver the House to the Democrats. And what is that issue, well Nancy seems to think that it's Medicare.

Sounding maybe just a bit too confident, Nancy said, “We have been saying there are three important issues in this campaign. And in alphabetical order, they are Medicare, Medicare, Medicare.” Adding, “On August 11, when Gov. Romney chose [Rep. Paul D.] Ryan, that was a pivotal day. That is the day things really changed.” I can only guess that what she was trying to do here was to attribute, what the Democrats refer to as, Ryan's "controversial" Medicare proposals, with bringing the program back to the forefront of the election-year debate, and in her opinion, putting the ball back into the Democrats’ court. Personally I think that's a stretch even for old "Stretch".

Old Nancy, worked up to the point to where she appeared to be nearly salivating, went on to say, “We were on a path. I would have said to you then we were dead even. Well, the momentum is very much with us, the Medicare issue in this campaign. We have the message, we have the messengers, we have the money, we have the mobilization. We have a very excellent chance to take back the House.” Really? I would think the message coming from the Democrats would be one of that since they've already cut over $700 Billion, why wouldn't we think that they'll cut even more? Democrats have repeatedly lied to seniors from the supposed benefits of Obamacare to about the rationing that will surely effect them.

As for the likelihood that Pelosi and congressional Democrats would work together with a Romney administration, regardless of a return to a majority in the House, Pelosi refuted the possibility pretty quickly and in no uncertain terms. “Mitt Romney isn’t going to be President of the United States,” she said with a laugh. “Everyone knows that.” She then proceeded to address criticism of Barry "Almighty" for being more much more of a “hands-off” kinda guy than was his Democrat predecessor 'Slick Willie' Clinton in dealing with Congress. Pelosi dismissed the contention that Barry’s style of leadership is any less effective than the 'Slickmeiter's."

Demonstrating once again that her one lone brain cell has been pretty much pushed to its operating limits, Nancy claimed, “I would say that they both were very high in terms of leadership. If you measure leadership in the number of phone calls, well, that might be a little bit of a different story, because they’re different personalities. Leadership should not be measured in the number of calls. But they were both great -- they are both great leaders.” Let's face, I think when most of us look at Barry the last thing we see is someone who is a 'leader.' To use the word leadership and Barry in the same sentence proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that Nancy is more than just a bit demented.

So, the bottom line here is that I would like to think that our seniors are smart enough to recognize the fact that they would effectively be cutting their own throats if they do in fact decide to vote for Democrats, any Democrat. And I think they are way smart enough to see the wisdom, and the necessity, in reforming Medicare so that it will still be there for those who come behind them. Especially if it's not going to impact them, and Ryan's plan does not. Look, Barry has already cut over $700 billion from Medicare, and what do these folks think that he's really gonna do once he hasn't got to worry about another election? They may be old, but that doesn't necessarily make them stupid!
