DEMOCRAT PARTY DRIFTING EVEN FURTHER TO THE LEFT…

There seems to be, if you can believe it, an even more liberal movement now emerging within the Democrat Party, and it’s one that views Barry, as well as the party's presumptive presidential front-runner Hitlery Clinton, as being, if you can believe this, excessively centrist. Ya know, somehow on those rare occasions when I can bring myself to even think about either of these two slimy characters, the word ‘centrist’ never enters my mind. What does come to mind are usually words like progressive, or socialist, or even communist. But never, centrist.

Now also, if you can believe this, there is now a far-left faction within the party that is, apparently, seriously looking into the possibility of making that leftwing loon, Elizabeth Warren, Democrat and senior senator from Massachusetts, its 2016 presidential standard-bearer. And the truly scary thing here is the fact that in a 2016 America, a president Warren really isn’t that far outside the realm of becoming a possibility. Because by then we may very well have passed that much talked about tipping point where the moochers outnumber the providers.

I’m assuming that such a cockamamie idea has now been floated, so to speak, because in contrast to Barry, Warren is in favor or increasing Social Security payments. In a recent Senate floor speech she said, "The absolute last thing we should do in 2013 – at the very moment that Social Security has become the principal lifeline for millions of our seniors, is to allow the program to begin to be dismantled inch by inch." Ms. Warren, obviously a leftwing dingbat, is very much of the opinion that we can simply continue to spend money that we just don’t have.

And in addition to opposing any, and all, budget deals that would involve in any way the cutting of Social Security ‘benefits’, this more liberal faction who would be quite happy with a president Warren, also favors stronger regulation of Wall Street; a $10.10-an-hour minimum wage, higher than the $9 favored by Barry; student loan debt relief; steps aimed at reducing economic inequality, and measures to protect workers from the aftershocks of globalization. There’s just no other way to describe these ludicrous positions than to call them what they are, total insanity.

Apparently those favoring a Warren candidacy, view Hitlery as being just a tad bit too close to Wall Street and to the devotees of Robert Rubin, who was ‘Slick Willie’s’ Treasury secretary. Some also complain that it has been Rubin's people who have been running economic policy under Barry. ‘Old Kooky’ Warren, a former Harvard law professor, has also called for big banks to be broken up. "Wall Street will fight us, but the American people are on our side," she told a union audience. Well, maybe those Americans who prefer living off the government.

While there are those who say that Democrats need to be cautious not to pull too far to the left, lest they be charged with being irresponsible over the national debt and not caring about economic growth, there may be no better time for them to make such a move. Because if Obamacare actually does collapse, as many are saying that it will, such an implosion might be enough to cause enough people to open there eyes when it comes to the leftist vision that brought it into reality. Also, policies that would further redistribute income would make many Americans uneasy.

I don’t know, I just don’t think many Americans get that concerned when politicians start talking about income redistribution. Unless of course, they’re one those whose income is being redistributed. Those on the receiving end certainly won’t be doing any complaining. But I’ll tell you what, Americans, and that would be all Americans, had better wake up, because whether it’s a ‘centrist’ like Hitlery or a ‘leftist’ like Warren who would end up getting elected, the outcome will be virtually the same. The death of what has been the most prosperous nation in the history of our planet.
