NELSON MANDELA…MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING….

'THE HAPPY TERRORIST'
In what is yet another example of just how upside down things have gotten in the world today, it would appear that tens of thousands of people have united in a noisy celebration today at a rain-soaked emotional memorial service for a man who, while it continues to be claimed was some sort of global freedom icon, was really nothing more than a common thug who spent much of his time in the employ of the old Soviet Union. That man is, of course, Nelson Mandela. The service was attended by presidents and princes and watched by millions around the world. Apparently the only world leader with sufficient moral courage, and the good sense, not to show up was Benjamin Netanyahu.

But never fear Barry "Almighty", eager to take any opportunity to speak before a crowd, did show up and launched into all manner of flowery prose as he set about to eulogize a fellow socialist. He went so far as to describe Mandela as being a "giant of history" who became more than a smiling icon by showing the power of political action. "It is hard to eulogize any man . . . how much harder to do so for a giant of history, who moved a nation towards justice," Barry said in speaking of a man who was really nothing more than a ruthless psychopath who was responsible, in one way or another, for the death of countless innocent victims most of whom, of course, white. But let’s not go there.

To me it should be considered as being nothing short of a national embarrassment for the United States, that four of our presidents would actually choose to make the trip in order to "honor" such a man as Mandela. And I can’t help but wonder, especially since Barry seemed to be so eager to shake the hand of Raul Castro who was also in attendance, if the same level of tribute awaits someone like Fidel Castro. A man whom will most assuredly be greeted by Mandela once he reaches ‘his’ final destination. These are men of very similar character, who were not afraid to use whatever level of violence that was necessary to bring about their twisted vision of government.

Barry and Mee-Shell flew in on Air Force One early in the morning, together with former president George W. Bush and his wife Laura. Two other ex-presidents, ‘Slick Willie" Clinton and Jimmy "Dumber Than Shit" Carter arrived separately. Also included on the list of ‘world leaders’ apparently quite desperate to pay tribute to this scum was British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Francois Hollande. And that such men, whether out of fear of being called racist, or out of some attempt to elevate themselves in the eyes of others, could lower themselves to attend such a ‘memorial service’ as this, makes clear the sad state of the world today.

Mandela’s eldest daughter, Makaziwe Mandela, told the crowd how her father spent a "wonderful" week surrounded by family before he died. "The children were there, the grandchildren were there ... so we are always around him, even at the last moment," she said. But, I wonder, how many people, because of the actions of this sadistic mass-murderer, were robbed of ever being able to be surrounded by their families? But then I suppose that should be over-looked because, after all, what we’re supposed to believe was motivating Mandela was that blacks in South Africa were being oppressed. That’s to be seen as justifying all of the senseless violence and death brought about by this man.

I am curious about something, though. Am I the only one who finds it as being a bit ironic that the man who is supposed to be identified as being the leader of the free world, has what can only be described as being a rather sick fetish for wanting to hobnob with those leaders who seek only to keep their people oppressed and living in abject fear of their government? It seems that Barry has absolutely no qualms, whatsoever, when it comes to shaking hands with dictators of nearly every stripe, or in wanting to seen as paying tribute to those who are essentially nothing more than common mass murderers. Is this the type of behavior that we expect to see from our president?
