THE POLICY OF APPEASEMENT WILL CONTINUE...

A lesson that present day Democrats seem not to have learned, is the fact that pacifism, as a principle of foreign policy only serves to make the job harder. It is seen as being nothing other than a sign of weakness and is therefore something to either be taken advantage of, or manipulated by, our enemies. Which brings me to Benghazi. Two months after the terror attack in Benghazi, there's been "no retribution, no retaliation, no visible action by the United States against those who murdered four American citizens," and that sends a very dangerous message. That's how former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton described things to Fox News on Thursday: Mr. Bolton went on to say, "Now, maybe there's something the administration has in the works, one of the rare national security secrets they've been able to keep. But the signal in the Middle East and beyond is, you can kill Americans with impunity. And that is a lesson, once learned, it's going to cause consequences that reverberate down the years." He's exactly right, which is what happens every time we suffer the misfortune of having a Democrat in the White House. Especially one as incompetent as this one.

Mr. Bolton said he expects a lengthy investigation into the attack in Benghazi as well as the administration's misleading public response to that attack, which was obviously politically motivated. "I think people are kidding themselves if they think this is a flash in the pan," Bolton told Fox News's Greta Van Susteren. "There's just too much involved here, and the administration's passivity before, during and after the September the 11th attack, and frankly, the passivity that they've displayed once the Petraeus-Broadwell affair was uncovered, is just inexplicable." Bolton says the important thing to remember is that Americans, both government officials and private citizens, "remain at risk" throughout the Middle East. "And until we fully understand, as a nation, what happened on September the 11th, we can't possibly take adequate steps or formulate policies to protect Americans who might be at risk." Mr. Bolton continued, "I have never seen this as political," adding, "But the notion that you can passively wait for an internal State Department review board or passively wait for an investigation that the CIA director may be compromised to play out over weeks and months -- it just doesn't hold water." Saying finally, "These are issues that effective leadership, real management in the executive branch, addresses immediately to prevent further tragedies or further loss of classified information." How can you argue with that?

On the opposite end of the appeasement and passivity scale we have weak-kneed pussies like Rep. Eliot Engel, DEMOCRAT, who was quite busy urging his fellow lawmakers not to let Thursday’s hearing on Benghazi "devolve into a political spectacle." He also made the rather idiotic statement that Barry "Almighty" isn’t responsible for the terror attack on the U.S. consulate and CIA annex. He said, "You know Barack Obama was no more responsible for what happened in Benghazi than George Bush was for September 11th or than Ronald Reagan was with the blowing up of the U.S. Marines in Beirut." Engel who is, believe it or not, a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee noted that the election is over -- and "Americans have had enough of it. They want us to solve problems and not go on political witch hunts. I am very concerned at some the political rhetoric that I hear." Engel stressed the importance of being "united" and advised against attempts "to point fingers" at the president or his administration. Funny, Democrat morons like this scumbag ALWAYS talk about being united when it's one of their fellow scumbags who currently occupies the Oval Office. If a Republican was in the White House, this buffoon would already be forming a lynch mob. Metaphorically speaking, of course.

Be honest, have id you ever noticed, with these sleazy Democrats like this clown Engel, how things are always so much different when it happens to be a member of the opposition party who is the president. "We want to get to the bottom of this. We don’t want anything to be covered up, but I think that we have to do that from the point of view of American unity -- not to try to score political points here and there," Engel said. Instead of pointing fingers at the Obama administration, Engel wants to "say what went wrong and how can we fix it so that it doesn’t go wrong in the future." Right, by all means, let's not be pointing any fingers at Barry. And I have no doubt that congressional Democrats will be falling all over themselves trying to get the bottom of all this. NOT!! And we certainly wouldn’t want to accuse Barry "Almighty" of somehow trying to cover something up now, would we? Because that would be totally unproductive in trying to determine exactly what happened here. So once again these disgusting sewer rats think it only fair that Barry be allowed to play by a different set of rules that they would require, no make that demand, that a Republican president be forced to play by.

And I'm quite sure many of you saw, or at least by now have seen it on the news, the White House press conference on Wednesday, where Barry, trying to sound all presidential and such, said, and in typical arrogant fashion, that if members of Congress have a problem with the way his administration handled the aftermath of what he's now calling the terror attacks, blaming them on an obscure video, they should take their complaints straight to him. And in singling out a couple of fellas out by name, Barry said, "If Senator McCain and Senator Graham and others want to go after somebody, they should go after me. And I'm happy to have that discussion with them," Barry said. "But for them to go after the U.N. ambassador, who had nothing to do with Benghazi and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received, and besmirch her reputation, is outrageous," he said. Actually, I'll tell you what's really outrageous here. It's the fact that our sorry-assed, piss-poor excuse of a Commander-in-Chief, watched, in real time, as four of his fellow Americans were literally slaughtered by a mob of religious nuts! And then he and his minions proceeded to lie about it for two whole weeks because of an election! That's what's outrageous!!!

And it was later that same day, Wednesday, that Sen. John McCain took to the Senate floor to rebut the idiotic comments made by Barry "Almighty" in which he attempted to admonish both Sen. McCain and Sen. Graham for launching what he termed those "outrageous" attacks upon U.N. ambassador Susan Rice for her imbecilic response regarding the attacks that took place in Benghazi, Libya. "We're not picking on anybody," McCain said. "We intend to pursue this until the American people have the answers they deserve." McCain added, "This president and this administration has either been guilty of colossal incompetence, or engaged in a cover-up." He went on to further clarify that he and Barry "have some disagreement when it's called 'picking on' someone." I'm sure we're all very well aware of the fact that Barry is notoriously thin skinned, to the point where any critique is perceived as being some sort of a personal attack. Apparently the same goes when the abilities and/or qualifications of those doing his bidding is also called into question. I don't very often agree with either McCain or Graham, but on this issue I do.

So now that we've been saddled with four more years of Barry-style foreign policy, may heaven help us. I guess it's safe for us to expect the same type of reckless, haphazard, pussyfootin around kind of foreign policy that we have had for the last four years. The result of which has been nothing more than to now have the Middle East on the brink of all out war and of becoming a flaming inferno and having our first ambassador to be murdered since that bonehead Jimmy Carter was president. Right now the world is like a ship without a rudder. Before Barry, America served, however reluctantly, in that capacity, and like it or not, I think most Americans viewed that as being a necessary evil. But we're now, apparently, nothing more than a nation of limp-wristed wimps that portray ourselves as being a country afraid of our own shadow. Hitlery was bad enough, but, my God, this bimbo Rice is even more incompetent. And while she has no business whatsoever being in her current job, she has even less so in being our Secretary of State. Here we are not even officially in Barry's second term and I can't help but to have this feeling of impending doom. I just don't see us surviving another four years.
