STUPID IS, AS STUPID DOES…MINORITIES AND THE GOP…
I’m really getting tired of hearing from all those Monday morning quarterbacks who perceive themselves to be brilliant political gurus, of one kind or anther, about how it’s the positions currently held by the Republican Party that are now what’s to be blamed for Gov. Romney’s recent defeat. And how they go on to say that it’s the party that "MUST" do more to reach out to blacks and Hispanics if it is to ever have any relevance in future elections. So, apparently, we’re now being told that the only way to entice more minority participation in our party is to surrender our principles to the point where we become more like the Democrats. Excuse me? But how much sense does that make?
What should be painfully obvious, even to those in the minority community, is where it is that the policies put in place by Democrats have taken us. I mean you’d either have to be blind or a flaming retard not to recognize the fact that it has been those policies that have resulted in 23 Million people out of work, 100 Million folks on some sort of government assistance, gas prices through the roof which also effects what we pay for everything else, 47 Million people on food stamps, 50 Million abortions since Roe vs. Wade, a $16 Trillion national debt, and the list goes on. Either that, or you simply choose not to ignore such things as long as your government check continues to arrive on time.
So if those in the various minority communities have no problem with the issues that are essentially destroying this country from the inside, what is it then, exactly, that these geniuses think that the GOP can do about it? It seems to me that someone from of the outside of the party is going to have to fill in as being the voice of reason and sanity. And since there seems to be a severe shortage of those willing to work at convincing these morons that it’s the very policies which they seem to be so much in favor of that are what’s actually killing this country, I don’t expect much headway to be made. And we know for sure that they’re not able, or willing, to recognize that fact for themselves.
So I would argue that all of those advocating that some sort of supposed "soul searching" is now something that’s desperately needed if the Republican Party is to have a future are, I think, quite literally talking out their ass. Our ignorant, self-serving minorities need to be the ones made to do the soul searching here! They need to be ones to recognize how it is that their respective communities are being decimated, and on so many levels, by the Democrat Party. What going to be required here, is some sort of an epiphany if there is to ever be any hope of achieving some level of forward progress in the lives of themselves or their children. But let’s face it, what are the odds of that happening?
I think we’re all aware of the fact that you can’t fix stupid, or even to persuade stupid to vote for you if stupid is content in its getting all manner of ‘free stuff’ in exchange for its vote for Democrats. And until stupid is finally able to recognize its affliction, or is convinced to see the error of its way, that of being stupid, its are not going to understand that in its eagerness to sell its vote for that a fore mentioned ‘free stuff’ it is causing the root of all its problems. And it most assuredly is not going to believe the fact that this continuing giveaway is unsustainable, and that if things don’t change then neither will the direction of our country. And so, it all begins with them, not us.
I completely agree with Mark Levin who recently responded to calls from several supposed conservative commentators, like Charles Krauthammer, to grant amnesty to illegal immigration in order to entice Hispanics to vote Republican. That whole notion just sounds so hypocritical to me. Why is it that we should be asked to ignore what are our principles, and betray all that we beleive, in order to appear more wecloming. If we were to do that, how could people ever believe anything we said on any issue. In the following excerpts from his radio show, Levin explains why this won't work and what a slippery slope amnesty would be. (Mark Levin Show, November 8, 2012):
"You know, I've always known this, but I'm coming to the conclusion yet again that Republican leaders are really stupid people. And I'm coming to the conclusion that there are an awful lot of stupid people posing as commentators on cable TV. I mean, where do these people come from?
Now, this immigration issue. How did this become the big issue after the election? It had nothing to do with the Republican loss.
###
I want to talk to Charles Krauthammer, who I like very much. I want to talk to all these GOP talking heads all over TV, some of whom are my friends, most of whom clearly are not. And all the rest of the Republicans who are falling into the race pandering and race politics stuff and sound stupid, and look stupid, and are embarrassing themselves. And are going to destroy the Republican Party or what's left of it.
###
We have these commentators, so-called conservative Republican commentators, they turn on a dime when it comes to illegal immigration. And they say, 'Hey, we need to grant amnesty to millions of people and that will entice, particularly Hispanics, to vote Republican.' Now keep in mind what I just said about what we've been arguing about: the massive welfare state, dependency, which is a problem. Because the current makeup of citizenry in this country, we are, at least temporarily, outnumbered. And then these commentators say that amnesty will entice particularly Hispanics -- they're focused on -- to vote Republican. Really?
So, let's wait a minute here. If we grant 20 million people amnesty tomorrow, guess what? They're still not citizens, they don't get to vote. So how would that help? 'Well, because other Hispanics will take note and credit Republicans with conferring amnesty on those Hispanics.' Really? And isn't the next demand citizenship and the right to vote? Since it will be said that amnesty creates, in essence, second class citizens? Of course it will! Not so simple then, is it?"
As usual, I think that Mark sums things up rather nicely. But immigration is far from being the only important issue that is in need of being addressed. And, I suppose, some would argue that, at least at the present time, it’s not even the most important issue, but serves as being a very good example in showing just how badly things have been corrupted. Everyone, not just members of the Republican Party, should be able to easily recognize illegal immigration as being something that cannot be tolerated nor excepted. What other country possesses such a willingness to allow those in the country illegally, to remain? Has anyone ever taken the time to examine immigration laws in other counties?
And I’ll tell you something else, until someone somewhere is able to convince these perpetual parasites to see the benefit of possessing a little drive and initiative as well as the advantage of possessing a little personal responsibility, not much is going to change in this country as we continue in our downward spiral. And, call me crazy, but those who make up the minority population aren’t going to be listening to anyone in the Republican Party. It’s going to take voice from within their own communities to make that actually happen. The bottom line here is that either we're all interested in working together to fix this thing or only half of us are. And half of us aren’t going to be able to get it done.
