OBAMA...JUST WORDS…JUST EMPTY WORDS...

Remember back when Barry was a candidate for president in 2008, and how he said that he would like to address entitlement reform during his first term in office? "We’re going to have to take on entitlements, and I think we've got to do it quickly," is what Barry said on Oct. 7, 2008, during the second presidential debate. "We're going to have a lot of work to do, so I can't guarantee that we're going to do it in the next two years, but I'd like to do it in my first term as president." Then, as president-elect, the first time, Barry made a similar statement to the editorial board of the Washington Post, which then ran a story headlined, "Obama Pledges Reform of Social Security, Medicare Programs." The Post story quoted Barry saying, "What we have done is kicked this can down the road. We are now at the end of the road and are not in a position to kick it any further," he said. "We have to signal seriousness in this by making sure some of the hard decisions are made under my watch, not someone else’s." Can anyone name one actual 'decision', hard or otherwse, that has been made on Barry's watch?  Other than, of course, the decision to lie to the American people?

Now fast forward four years, and there has been nary a glance made toward actually reforming entitlement programs. And we are now in a position that unless Barry and Congress reach some sort of a deal to avoid that much talked about "fiscal cliff," automatic spending cuts to these, and other, programs will take effect in January. Treasury Secretary Timmy 'The Tax Cheat' Geithner has presented what he called a serious plan on Capitol Hill that, he said, would 'consider' $400 Billion in entitlement reform 'next year' and after a $1.6 Trillion tax hike through rate increases takes effect. All that along with a $50 Billion stimulus package, and granting the president the ability to raise the debt ceiling at will, requiring a two-thirds majority of Congress to stop him. Supposedly, Timmy's little plan was the source of much good natured laughter! Speaker Boehner made a counter offer to Barry to raise taxes through limiting deductions and loopholes, but would also reform entitlements and cut spending. Curoisly though, the raising of revenue by means of other than tax hikes was something Barry himself has discussed…in the past.

And it was during the Oct. 7 2008 debate with Republican nominee John "The Maverick" McCain, that Barry, then an Illinois senator that had served a mere two years in the Senate and was then the Democratic nominee for president, actually said that in his administration, entitlement reform would be a priority. Debate moderator Tom ' The Liberal Stooge' Brokaw then asked, "Would you give Congress a date certain to reform Social Security and Medicare within two years after you take office? Because in a bipartisan way, everyone agrees, that's a big ticking time bomb that will eat us up maybe even more than the mortgage crisis." Barry then gave what has become one of his standard bullshit responses saying, "Well, Tom, we're going to have to take on entitlements and I think we've got to do it quickly. We're going to have a lot of work to do, so I can't guarantee that we're going to do it in the next two years, but I'd like to do it in my first term as president." Well, we don’t have to look very hard to see that that certainly never happened. And let's be honest, Barry had no intention of doing so!

So, after being made to endure four long years of what was essentially nothing more than a scorched earth style of politics, what we are now left with is the burned out hulk of an America that's basically been left on life support. America's condition is the direct result of the thugocracy headed up by an individual who is nothing more than a communist masquerading as, what he likes to refer to himself as, a politician in the mold of the Democrat icon, FDR. So in Barry-speak when he says, 'We’re Going to Have to Take on Entitlements – I’d Like to Do It in My First Term,’ the translation comes out a little like this, "We're going to have to ignore entitlements and spend, spend, spend. We have to increase revenue primarily from raising taxes, through my little surprise known as Obamacare. It will not get addressed my first term and it won't get addressed my second term. My GOP buddies and I will alternate kicks of the can as we go merrily merrily down the road. Words mean nothing in my world" Barry is one of the most prolific liars to ever occupy the Oval Office. He's even better at that the previous champ, "Slick Willie" Clinton.

So now thanks to our permanent parasite class who are of the opinion that they deserve a free ride at the expense of the rest of us, we have now been saddled with a lying sack of political corruptness for another four years. Great, four more years that will allow this guy to be able to inflict further damage on our country as he continues his work, at nearly a frantic pace, to ensure that a complete economic and financial implosion occurs. One that would then create an environment where it would then be much easier for him to swoop in and, under the guise of saving the system, worm the tentacles of government further into what used to be our free enterprise economy. We are going down for the third time and Barry has done nothing to prevent that from happening. Essentially, he's done nothing more than to tie the anchor of big-government socialism very snuggly around our legs. But I guess this is what the people wanted. I'd say it's what the American people wanted, but I just can't bring myself to call anyone who would voted for this guy an American. They're just somebody who happens to reside here in America.
