BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA
Well, it’s now official, the federal government under the rather questionable ‘leadership’ of Barry "Almighty" has now borrowed more money during his brief time, politically speaking, as president than it did in during the entire period lasting from the time President George Washington took the oath office until July 2, 2001, more than five months into the first term of President George W. Bush. At the close of business on Jan. 20, 2009, the date of Barry "Almighty’s" coronation, the amount of our national debt, and the amount that he inherited, stood at $10,626,877,048,913.08, according to the Treasury. At the close of business this past Thursday, it that amount stood at a staggering $16,323,083,449,604.98. That means the debt has increased $5,696,206,400,691.90 during Barry’s presidency.
On July 2, 2001, more than five months after President George W. Bush entered office, our national debt stood at $5,693,220,327,798.14, also according to the Treasury. By the close of business on July 3, 2001, it had risen to 5,698,195,769,465.40. Since then, the debt has never again dropped below $5,696,206,400,691.90, or the amount that it has increased in less than one full term of Barry. Now also on this past Thursday, our illustrious, albeit quite incompetent, Treasury Secretary, Little Timmy ‘The Tax Cheat’ Geithner, actually suggested that Congress hand over to our ‘Dear Beloved Leader’, the very trustworthy Barry "Almighty’, the unilateral authority to lift the limit on our national debt. Is that not the most incredibly insane idea you’ve ever heard? And Little Timmy was absolutely SERIOUS!!!
The Census Bureau estimated in September of this year that there were 114,916,000 households in the United States. So that means that the $5,696,206,400,691.90 that Barry has now ‘borrowed’, and all in the name of we the U.S. taxpayers, now equals roughly $49,568 per household. Now, what is it, you may wonder, that we have gotten in return for that very generous investment made on our behalf and essentially without our consent? Well the half of us who are actually made to pay income taxes have only gotten, for lack of a better word, screwed. And we could also soon find ourselves on the receiving end of demands that we pay even more in income taxes, that amount deemed to be our "fair share." Meanwhile, those who get off scott-free, since they are Barry’s supporters and are therefore not required to pay income taxes, continue to make out like bandits.
So I can only assume that those of us who continue to take it in the shorts, watching as more money is taken from us only to be handed over to Barry’s cronies and supporters, are just supposed to be happy about it. But why should we be happy with the fact these freeloaders continue to rake in more and more of our hard-earned money all courtesy of their Robin Hood-like hero, Barry "Almighty"? After all, these are the very same ones that Barry is desperate to work up into a frenzy to the point where they will then take to the streets should there be even a hint made that there will cuts put in place to their ‘entitlement program’ of choice. He thinks they are his ace in the hole, so to speak, in his attempt to pressure the Republicans into raising taxes now, while agreeing to some mythical spending cuts that will be made at some future, yet undetermined, date. At least that appears to be the plan
