'DINGY HARRY' REID IS A WASTE OF SKIN…
Four days before the election, and 'Dingy Harry' Reid is already ruling out any possibility of trying to work with a president Mitt Romney, should he win the election next week. "Mitt Romney's fantasy that Senate Democrats will work with him to pass his 'severely conservative' agenda is laughable," old 'Dingy' said in a statement on Friday. Obvious this old fart was doing his best in an effort to try to puncture Mr. Romney's closing election argument that he'll be able to deliver on the bipartisanship that Barry promised in 2008 but has struggled to live up to.
'Dingy', a Nevada Democrat as well as a Mormon, like Mr. Romney, has for some time now been one of the Republican presidential nominee's loudest critics throughout this campaign, at one point even accusing him of failing to pay taxes, a charge that Mr. Romney has refuted. And with Democrats now appearing poised to keep control of the Senate, a President Romney would have to be prepared to work with scum like 'Dingy', who would set the upper chamber's schedule and determine what bills make it to the floor. And yet it’s the GOP that is always portrayed as being obstructionist!
‘Dingy’ Harry flatly ruled out following Mr. Romney's agenda, saying he and his Democrat colleagues have already voted down, and very soundly so, many of those proposals, including House Republicans' budget, written by Republican vice presidential nominee Rep. Paul Ryan. "Mitt Romney has demonstrated that he lacks the courage to stand up to the tea party, kowtowing to their demands time and again. There is nothing in Mitt Romney's record to suggest he would act any differently as president," 'Dingy’ said. I think ‘Dingy’ a bit hypocritical in that regard be he kowtows to many nuts on the left.
Mr. Romney has argued over the last week that his experience in Massachusetts working with a Democratic-controlled legislature has left him prepared to work with Congress. He has also vowed to hold regular meetings with congressional leaders to let both sides talk through their issues. ‘Dingy’, on the other hand, chose to challenge Mr. Romney's memory of Massachusetts, saying he sealed "himself off behind a velvet rope instead of reaching out to build relationships." Personally, I really don’t think ‘Dingy’ has a clue. He’s only doing what he can to derail Romney.
With a huge agenda awaiting them, and control of Congress most likely to be split, the next president will have to find a way to work with both parties, bringing them together to get this nation’s problems solves. Republicans in Congress, and even some Democrats, have criticized Barry for failing to do that during his first term. Barry "Almighty" won passage of his health care law and the 2009 stimulus, but the fact is that both were possible only because Barry had super majorities in both houses of Congress and he wasn't required to work with Republicans, he simply ran over them.
But Barry's been forced to play defense for most of the last two years as Republicans pushed for spending cuts. Let's face it though, Barry has zero leadership abilities. He's nothing more than a whiny, crybaby. He accepts zero responsibility for anything, blaming everybody else for his vast array of shortcomings. And I think if 'Dingy' underestimates Romney, again should he win next week, I think he does so at his own peril. Romney is not naïve, and I'm sure he has run up against assholes like 'Dingy' in business, and they were most likely a whole lot smarter than 'Dingy'.
