OBAMA CONTINUES WORK TO SHRINK THE LABOR FORCE…

Unfortunately, Barry continues to meet with great success as he works to perpetuate the kind of economic environment that actually does nothing more than to encourage individuals to see the wisdom in leaving the American labor force far behind. Proof of his success comes to us in the form of figures released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) just today. You see, the number of Americans who have now been actively encouraged by Barry to no longer participate in the nation's labor force climbed to a record 91,541,000 in October.

From August to September, again according to BLS, Americans not participating in the labor force climbed from 90,473,000 to 90,609,000, with a one-month increase of 136,000. And in October, it climbed again to 91,541,000, an increase of 932,000 during the month. Now keep in mind here that in January 2009, when Barry first took office, there were 80,507,000 Americans not in the labor force. Thus, the number of Americans now not in the labor force, has increased by a staggering 11,034,000 during Barry’s tenure as president.

Another indicator which also makes very plain the level of success that Barry seems to be having in achieving what is really nothing more than the wholesale destruction of our economy, is something called the labor force participation rate. That number stood at 62.8 percent in October after having decreased by 0.4 percentage points from September when it was at 63.2 percent. Now, also keep in mind, that again when Barry first took office back in January 2009, the labor force participation rate stood at 65.7 percent.

The overall national unemployment rate, which is supposed to be the percentage of people participating in the labor force who actively sought a job and did not find one in October, was 7.3 percent. That was a slight increase from the 7.2 percent unemployment rate in September. When Barry took office in 2009, the unemployment rate was 7.8 percent, but let’s not forget that in 2009 there were also 11 Million more people in the labor force. So that 7.3 figure is far from being an accurate reflection of the unemployment situation in this country.

The percentage of American women, many of whom seem to have some sort of twisted fascination with Barry, participating in the nation’s labor force hit a new low at a rate of 56.9 percent in October. Additionally, the number of women holding jobs declined by 357,000 from September to October, and the unemployment rate increased for women from 6.7 percent to 6.9 percent. In October the labor force participation rate for women was 56.9 percent, down from 57.1 percent in September and 57.3 percent in August.

So in looking at all of these numbers it becomes very obvious very quickly that Barry’s effort to move people off of the payrolls of private companies and onto the government dole has been very successful indeed. And with the results being what they are, there is absolutely no reason to assume that he will not continue those efforts as he attempts to get an many people as he possibly can firmly addicted to the government teat. Because it is those people who are far more likely to become reliable Democrat voters. With Barry, it’s always about politics.
