CHRIS CHRISTIE, THE TEAM PLAYER…NOT!!

I used to be a big fan of the governor of New Jersey. Just not anymore. Especially since Christie, that fat tub of shit, demonstrated that he really knows how to step up, when needed, and be a team player. It seems that old tubbo has been under fire recently from Republican insiders ever since he completed what can only be described as a rather startling metamorphosis and started heaping praise on Barry's poor response to Hurricane Sandy last week. A response of late that has been pretty nonexistent. But then, the election is over now so it really doesn't matter anymore. Christie served his purpose and I guess that's fine with him.

And now old tubbo seems to be lashing out at those anonymous aides to Mitt Romney who have come our criticized him for refusing to attend fundraising events for the GOP presidential candidate. The outspoken rotund one, who we at thought was a strong supporter of Romney over the past year, described his critics as 'know-nothing, disgruntled Romney supporters' who did not respect the duty he owed to the people of his state. Well, from where I sitting, Christie has proven himself to pretty much of a sap since Barry's been nowhere near New Jersey since getting his little photo op with the fat boy.

Yesterday it was revealed that Christie had been asked to appear with Romney at a campaign event in Morrisville, Pennsylvania, only 20 minutes away from the New Jersey state capital, Trenton. The governor refused, leading to criticism from anonymous aides to the presidential candidate, one of whom said, 'You can't tell me he couldn't have gone over there for a night rally.' Granted, things are pretty ugly there in New Jersey, but apparently not so ugly that Barry could stay a little longer or sow a bit more interest in what those people were needed. Nope, Barry got his photo op and then he was outta there!

At a press conference, Christie said that he told Romney before Sandy hit that he would be unable to continue campaigning 'if the storm landed as predicted'. He continued: 'I said to him, "Listen, Mitt, if this storm hits the way I think it's going to, I'm off the campaign trail from here to Election Day." 'And he said to me, "Chris, of course. Do your job, don't worry about me. I'll take care of things."' Christie did not blame Romney, a former governor of Massachusetts, for the criticism of him, saying: 'He's been a governor - he knows.' He said those complaining were doing so because he said some nice things about Barry.

Christie accompanied Barry on a tour of the Jersey Shore in the aftermath of the devastating storm, and publicly thanked the President for the attention he has paid to the region affected by Sandy. He lashed out whenever he was asked about the storm's political impact, and several times insisted he no longer wanted to be involved in the run-up to the election. Christie's sudden disavowal of electoral politics came as something of a surprise, as he had been one of Romney's most vocal and pugnacious supporters ever since he first endorsed him in October 2011.

Look, I'm done with this guy, Christie. I don’t have a problem with his putting his state first, what I take exception to is the way that he did it. And I hope his political career is a short one. Or let him go be a damn Democrat, it matters very little to me. He knew how crucial this election was, and he acted like an arrogant jerk for no other reason than he too has an election just around the corner. And is he really stupid enough to believe that Barry will be glad to come to Jersey and stand with him instead of whoever it is that might be his Democrat challenger? Come on Chris, I think you shot yourself in the foot. At least I'm hoping so!

  1. Never trusted him. Look where he's from and consider the history of where he is from, etc. He's always about about himself and he will get in bed with any one any time to get what he wants.

    1. He's in for a rude awakening if he thinks Barry will return the favor.
