PUBLICITY WHORE MEETS CAMPUS SL*T?

Always on the prowl for the next “cause” that she can use to get her ugly mug in front of the nearest television camera, it seems old Gloria Allred has now found something she thinks that she can stick her teeth into. This time in her sights, she has Rush Limbaugh. Apparently Ms. Allred has sent a letter to the Palm Beach County state attorney requesting an investigation into whether the popular radio host should be prosecuted for calling a law student a “slut” and “prostitute” in describing how it was that this “young woman” chose to present her support for Barry’s demand that contraceptives be provided free of charge . “Mr. Limbaugh targeted his attack on a young law student who was simply exercised her free speech and her right to testify before congress on a very important issue to millions of American women and he vilified her. He defamed her and engaged in unwarranted, tasteless and exceptionally damaging attacks on her,” Allred told POLITICO Friday afternoon. “He needs to face the consequences of his conduct in every way that is meaningful.”

In this letter, which was dated March 8, Ms. Allred, writing on behalf of some screwy outfit called the Women’s Equal Rights Legal Defense and Education Fund, demonstrated nothing more than her frequent desire for grasping at straws as she went so far as to actually request that Palm Beach County State Attorney Michael McAuliffe probe whether the conservative radio personality had violated Section 836.04 of the Florida Statutes by calling Georgetown University law student Sandra Fluke the two derogatory words. Apparently this rather archaic statute stipulates that anyone who “speaks of and concerning any woman, married or unmarried, falsely and maliciously imputing to her a want of chastity” is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree. Allred explained that the statute recently came to her attention as having never been repealed, and that it could very well apply to Limbaugh’s remarks as his show is broadcast from West Palm Beach. Like I said I think the old girl, Ms. Allred, is reaching. You liberals like the esteemed Ms. Allred never cease to amaze me as they go in search of ways to silence those who disagree with them.

So apparently it is now entirely up to the prosecutor to exercise his discretion on whether there will be a prosecution. McAuliffe did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Allred, has a reputation for “defending” all manner of questionable freaks and, somewhat high profile, characters, the most recent of which have included Sharon Bialek, the cash strapped woman who accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment, and porn star Ginger Lee, who exchanged explicit emails with former Rep. Anthony Weiner. Ms. Allred said on Friday that she has not yet been in touch with Fluke. Sure! “I don’t reach out to women, they reach out to me,” she said. “If she did reach out to me, obviously I would respond.” Right, just make sure that it takes place in close proximity to a television camera. Limbaugh’s remarks were made in the context of Ms. Fluke’s “testifying” before a group of Democrats on Capitol Hill regarding the fact that she thinks that her and her friends should be provided with their preferred method of birth control for free.  And they resulted in, if you can believe the media accounts which I do not, widespread public outrage and dozens of advertisers pulling their commercials from his three-hour program.

This bitch, Allred, just loves to talk about Rush being made to face some meaningful consequences. What a crock! What a bunch of BS! WHAT A DOUBLE STANDARD! Because at the same time she’s so ready, even eager, to have Rush prosecuted, she’s perfectly content to allow her sleazy buddy, Bill Maher, who has been saying much worse things about women, much longer, to continue to do so. Where’s old Gloria been when it comes to making Bill “face some meaningful consequences?” Oh that’s right, he’s only making fun of “conservative women.” Which proves my point exactly, that Allred is nothing but a pathetic fraud, out to do nothing more than to get her botox stretched puss on any television show who’ll have her. She is constantly roaming from one 15 minutes of fame to the next, using people as only she can do as she professes herself to be some ardent defender of women everywhere. Make that, Liberal women everywhere. I don’t seem to recall her ever having “wasted” her time rushing to the side of a conservative woman. After all, how much television exposure would that get for her? Maybe Fox News?

One last thought. There is another way to look at this entire scenario, I suppose. Some have said that this entire thing may just have been nothing more than a very elaborate scheme set up with the strings actually being pulled by the White House. A trap so to speak and Limbaugh fell for it. You know, a little skit, of sorts, where Ms. Allred is just one among the many players involved. But then again maybe not.
