IS CONTRACEPTION REALLY THE MOST IMPORTANT TOPIC OF THE DAY?...

I think that I've come up with, what I think is, the prefect battle cry for the National Organization of Women. And it goes something like this, "Sluts Of The World, Unite!!" What do you think? I mean let's face it, first we had this Sandra Fluke chick, who is, besides being a fulltime slut, is also, evidently, a part time student at Georgetown Law at the same time. She also claims to be a “reproductive rights activist”, whatever the Hell that is, who agrees wholeheartedly with Barry "Almighty’s controversial contraceptive mandate. Her reasoning, though, is more than just a bit unorthodox, to say the least. Now I could be wrong here, having been accused of that before, but it seems to me that most women, and again I can only assume, would be a little hesitant about going before Congress and declaring to all the World that they are a slut. Or should I say, loose woman? I can only imagine how proud her mommy and daddy must be of their little girl. But then, they're probably both flaming liberals and are, in fact, very proud indeed. But still, if I were the one forking out the requisite big bucks required to send my daughter off to Georgetown, I'd be more than a ticked off if I was to find out that all she was doing there was screwing her brains out. But hey, that's just me!

So anyway there she was, with millions of people have now watched her little performance, providing, that which was described by the media as, "testimony" in front of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee on Monday, a meeting that was held by none other than House Minority Leader, old Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi. Strangely enough, however, Ms. Fluke was, by the way, the only witness heard, and she proceeded to describe, in detail, the financial burden that the purchasing of birth control paraphernalia puts on both her and, apparently, her many fellow sluts. And in a statement that I have to say that I found more than a little disconcerting, Ms. Fluke made it quite clear that we must now have a near epidemic of rabid horniness campuses, saying, “Forty percent of the female students at Georgetown Law reported to us that they struggled financially as a result of this policy.” Ms Fluke was alluding to the fact that the university doesn’t pay for contraception. “Without insurance coverage, contraception, as you know, can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school.” That seems a little steep, so why not ask those who must make up a near endless stream of sex partners to pony up for the requisite contraceptive of choice? After all, it's they who are the recipients of Ms Fluke's, and her many friend's, willingness to spread their legs.

And in moving right along but staying on this rather idiotic topic, we recently heard from Ms.Terry O'Neill, president of National Organization for Women, who, never being one to miss an opportunity to advance the cause of women everywhere, felt the need to add her two cents to the continuing "discussion." Ms. O’Neill is another one of those women obviously in no need for contraceptives herself because she's simply too damn ugly to get laid by anyone who is anywhere near being sober, but, nonetheless, she feels compelled to argue for their need. She said Thursday at a gathering of other perpetually horny feminists that Roman Catholic bishops and other religious leaders have failed to keep women from using birth control and now want the "police power of the state" to stop women from doing so. According to Ms. O'Neill, “The bishops have not been able to convince Catholic women to not take birth control.” She went on to say, “We know this because 98 percent of sexually active [Catholic] women take birth control at some point in their lives--just like 98 percent of sexually active non-Catholic women take birth control at some point in their lives." Adding, “So the bishops have failed,” she said. “And the evangelical preachers that don’t want their women to take birth control--they have failed.” Blah, Blah, Blah…

According to this moron, O’Neill, these religious leaders are now “demanding that the government step in and use the force and power and police power of the state to prevent women from taking birth control because the bishops have failed.” O’Neill’s remarks came in response to a question from a journalist that was present about a large photograph on display at the press conference. It depicted five faith leaders, including a Catholic bishop, who testified at a Feb. 16 House hearing into the Barry "Almighty’s" controversial health insurance mandate. It was noted by some in the media that Bishop William Lori was the only faith leader--the others were Jewish, Lutheran and Baptist--who opposed all forms of birth control and pointed out that the hearing was about whether the government mandate violated the free exercise of religion. To which O’Neill responded. “Birth control is not about women? ‘Birth control is about my religious freedom,’ says the bishop. Excuse me?? “This is how wacky the right wing has become,” she said, adding that restrictions on birth control “violate women’s fundamental religious freedom rights.” That's right, if there is anyone out there talking up moral behavior they are the one to be considered as wacky. I guess it's just makes so much more sense to run around screwing everything in sight! Hey, makes sense to me!

This whole cockamamie, no pun intended, discussion that we're now being forced to endure has only served to, quite literally, shove some of our more important issues, which are actually in urgent need of being discussed, aside. And it's all because of the HHS regulation, issued under Obamacare, which will force all health-care plans in the United States to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions. The Catholic Church has strenuously objected to the regulation because it will require Catholics to buy and/or provide the sterilization-contraception-abortifacient coverage even though doing so violates the teachings of the Catholic faith. The church has not called for outlawing contraception, or to even prevent people who want to buy or provide insurance coverage that covers contraception from doing so. The House Oversight hearing at which Bishop Lori testified was about the religious liberty issue raised by the regulation. So it was then at Thursday’s little gathering at the National Press Club, that O’Neill charged that the hearing had been sexist in nature. “For these men to have the gall to say that birth control is about their religious rights and it’s not about women is just completely flabbergasting,” she said. I swear, I hear this stuff and it's like I'm trapped in the "Twilight Zone" or something.

I guess I was completely unaware of the fact that we have in this country such a large segment of our population that consists of those who are apparently quite willing to have sex with as many different people as possible. That kind of gives the phrase, "recreation sex" a whole new meaning. It ought to maybe be called, "marathon sex." Maybe I'm showing my age here, but when I was a much younger fella girls like Ms. Fluke, here, may have been "fun" to date and to maybe even practice on, but they definitely weren't the type that you were looking to take home to meet mom. And it seems that girls with Ms. Fluke's level of "enthusiasm" were a bit more hard to come by. But on a more serious note here, what this entire discussion does is to show, and in very stark terms, just how far down into the blackness our society has now plunged. That the most important topic now being discussed is the ability to have sex whenever and wherever the mood strikes, without fear of getting pregnant, is mind boggling. Here we sit with $16 Trillion of debt, an economy that is essentially in ruin, real unemployment through the roof, and with millions of our citizens now on some form of government "assistance", and we're talking about screwing? Now don't get me wrong, there's plenty of screwing going here. But it's the American people who are getting screwed and it's Barry whose doing the screwing!
