MORE BOGUS NUMBERS? MOST LIKELY…
Tis the season for bogus numbers of every sort, especially if they can be seen, in any way possible, as being able to benefit Barry "Almighty" in his quest for re-election. And now we have some new numbers which should now automatically be called into question. As if to imply that our borders have now somehow miraculously become much more secure than they were before Barry's cool self came strutting into the Oval Office, the Department of Homeland Security’s 2011 Yearbook of Immigration Statistics, released just last month, included figures that somehow show that the number of illegal aliens apprehended in the United States was the lowest that it's been in 40 years. Now I would think that to actually believe that these numbers portray an accurate assessment of the situation, would require something like, to use Hitlery Clinton's phrase, a willing suspension of disbelief.
This latest of these highly dubious reports generated by yet another department of this highly dubious administration, supposedly shows, and that would be on page 91, table 33, that in fiscal year 2011, the number of illegal aliens apprehended was 641,633, at that time the lowest total apprehensions since 1972 when the number of illegal aliens apprehended was 505,949. The report also shows that the number of illegal aliens apprehended has steadily decreased over the course of Barry's administration, from 869,857 in fiscal year 2009 to 641,633 in fiscal year 2011. So what are we expected to take away from this little work of fiction? That, maybe, Barry has succeeded in making our border so airtight that fewer people are coming here that need to be sent back. Hardly!! This is simply more BS in an effort to win votes.
The table includes the following totals for fiscal years 2008-2011:
2008: 1,043.863
2009: 869,857
2010: 752,329
2011: 641,633
The table also supposedly shows that from 1976 to 2008, the number of apprehensions ranged from 910,361 in 1980 to 1,814,729 in 2000. The largest number of apprehensions during Barry's administration was 869,857 in fiscal year 2009, which, at the time, was the lowest total since 1974 when 788,145 illegal aliens were apprehended. Look, I think it pretty safe to assume here that this administration is not above fudging the numbers if, 1) it is thought that by doing so some manner of political advantage can be created for Barry and 2) this team of scumbags is fairly confident that they can do so without getting caught. They are now pulling out all the stops and if Barry continues to slip in the polls I’m sure we can expect this type of sleazy behavior to increase. This BS is so unbecoming and it demonstrates, quite clearly, that Barry has little or no respect for the office he holds and is therefore unworthy of being re-elected.
