SOME RATHER INTERESTING ENDORSEMENTS COME OBAMA'S WAY...

There's an old saying that says a man is known by the company that he keeps. I think it fair to say that that was something made pretty apparent in the last campaign when it was pointed out that Barry has been no stranger to having been part of some rather questionable associations over the years. But all that was ignored. Today I think we can also judge the man by looking at those who choose to endorse him. And the reason I say that is because there have been some very interesting endorsements made for Barry "Almighty" over the course of this current campaign. The latest to publicly announce his full support for Barry’s reelection bid was none other than Venezuela’s socialist in charge, Hugo Chavez, who this week assured he’d vote for Barry if he were from the United States. The America-bashing strongman made the announcement on state-owned television, saying, "Obama is a good guy" and that if Barry was from Caracas, he’d surely return the favor by voting for Chavez. Of that I have no doubt!

It was earlier in the year that we heard the daughter of Cuban military dictator Raul Castro loudly proclaim her country’s support for Barry during a visit to the U.S. "I believe that Obama needs another opportunity and he needs greater support to move forward with his projects and with his ideas, which I believe come from the bottom of his heart," Mariela Castro said during a cable news interview. Yes' I'm sure she views Barry as being someone her father or uncle would be quite proud to call, 'son'. Then we come to Russia’s Vladimir Putin, who has eliminated most elections in his country, monopolized all major media and destroyed the political party system. In a letter to a major newspaper, the president of a group dedicated to expanding freedom around the world points out that under Putin there has been an "across-the-board crackdown on civil society." The piece goes on to ask: "Will Obama stand up against Putin’s abuses?" Unlikely, now that the Russian dictator has kindly extended his endorsement of Barry.

Personally I think that for most Americans such endorsements might be a little disconcerting, or unsettling to say the least, especially when taking into consideration the political backgrounds of those doing the endorsing. It kinda makes one wonder if these three goons view Barry as being one of their own, a brother-in-arms, so to speak. So, here we have some pretty hardcore communists enthusiastically endorsing a particular candidate for U.S. president and no one seems to be the least bit concerned by that? I mean it was Barry who took time out of his busy day to call the newly re-elected Chavez to congratulate him on his electoral victory. There's just something a little sleazy, or unseemly about a U.S. president calling a flaming dictator to congratulate him on screwing over his own people. Sorry, but I'm just not seeing how such a thing would, in any way, be appropriate. Now I'm sure Barry wishes he could pull some of the same stuff as his buddy Hugo has, and who knows if he's re-elected he just might try.
