CHUCKIE SCHUMER…PART OF THE PROBLEM IN WASHINGTON...

In a statement that I'm sure will put us all very much at ease, Sen. Chuckie Schumer, that slimy DEMOCRAT from New York, predicted on Monday that the fiscal cliff will be dealt with in the "lame duck session." Whew, I sure do feel better now, about all of you? I was really sweatin it there. Anyway, his imbecilic little prediction came while appearing on MSNBC’s "Morning Joe," where Chuckie was heard to say, "I am an optimist. I think we’re going to solve this problem in the lame duck, and here’s why: It’s sort of— People who have stood in the way – obviously this is my judgment – more than anybody else are the hard right Republicans." He went on to say, "But there are two groups in the Senate and House of Republicans. There are no moderates – God bless Susan Collins - but there are mainstream conservatives, like the man who was sitting here before me – John McCain, Lamar Alexander, Lindsey Graham, and there are hard right guys," he said. So old Chuckie's an optimist. I wish I could say the same, but as long as Barry is in the White House, and crooks like Chuckie are in charge of the Senate, there's just no way!

The show's host Joe 'I'm A Conservative, Honest' Scarborough asked. "Senator, we talk in shorthand about the fiscal cliff. Mark Halperin just mentioned it. If you could explain to the viewers essentially what would happen on New Year’s Eve coming up if we don’t address it and fix the problem. What would it look like?" Chuckie responded by saying, "What would happen would be that taxes for everybody would go up, not just for people above $250 [thousand]. We’d have huge cuts, not just in Defense, but across the board, and at a time when the economy is still slowly climbing out of that deep hole, it could put us right back in there." Chuckie also confidently predicted that Barry will win the election by "a significant margin" of 52-48. He said, "The mainstream conservatives will want to make an agreement, and when [GOP presidential candidate Mitt] Romney embraced [Republican vice presidential candidate Paul] Ryan and said, ‘I’m going the hard right way,’ and loses the election, which if he does and it looks like he will, I believe he will, and I think by a significant margin – 52-48 or somewhere around then.".

"The mainstream Republicans are strengthened, and I’ll tell you my view: Both [House Speaker John] Boehner and [Sen. Mitch] McConnell have a foot in each camp – hard right, mainstream – that’s what they should do. They’re leaders, but if the hard right is rejected…" Chuckie continued. Scarborough had interrupted Chuckie, saying, "You keep saying hard right. Paul Ryan’s not hard right. Paul Ryan is telling the truth about a Medicare and Medicaid and Social Security system that’s going bankrupt, and you know it." Chuckie responded with the same idiotic gibberish that he known for, saying, "Yeah, but what Paul Ryan does with that money and makes him hard right is he doesn’t put it into deficit reduction, which you’ve correctly been arguing for, for a long time. He puts it all into tax cuts for the wealthy." While the presidency is the most important prize to be won, come this November, relegating buffoons like Chuckie to permanent minority status must also be a priority if we to have any hope whatsoever of actually being able to move 'forward', to use Barry’s theme, from where it is that the Democrats like Chuckie have us very firmly stuck.
