WE CAN ILL AFFORD TO LET EGOS GET IN THE WAY…

Ok folks, this might be the time to get a hold of ourselves, step back and take deep breath regarding the selection process that is currently underway, as well as the participants taking part. This is not the time to let petty differences or individual egos to get in the way, especially to the point where we endanger our chances of success by losing sight of the objective here. We need to remain focused and to not start eating our own. There has been enough of that nonsense taking place between our candidates, so the last thing we need to start seeing is the same sort of silliness coming from any outside sources. Ultimately, we are going to need to settle on one candidate and then work as hard as we can to get him across the finish line ahead of Barry. If we are unable to do that all we will succeed in doing is to provide Barry with his re-election without his even breaking a sweat.

I only bring this up because of a recent edition of Neil Cavuto’s show on the Fox Business Network where Tea Party Patriots cofounder Jenny Beth Martin had some pretty harsh words for presidential candidates other than just Barry. In fact, according to Ms. Martin, if it came down to Barry versus any of the current Republican contenders, she doesn’t know whom to pick. What? “Nobody is satisfied with the candidates out there,” says Martin. “They’re all losers.” And apparently her other cofounder, Mark Meckler, feels much the same way. Talking about Congress he said, “They’ve caved on every single point of principle since the Republican majority has taken over.” Adding, “It’s not a surprise; it’s disappointing, absolutely. It just shows that the revolution has just begun.” And in that respect he is right. We need to remain energized in our effort to take our country back.

Look, the last thing those on our side need to be doing is to create sound bites that can be used later by Team Barry to attack whoever the Republican candidate is. Regarding the presidential race, first these same critics come out backing a progressive in South Carolina and now this hissy fit! These people need to get their head on straight and get back in the game. Whether they like it or not we’re going to have to play the best player we have. The perfect candidate does not exist, but any that we have now running would be better than another four years of Barry. So how about we stop all the whining! And quite honestly if Jenny Beth had not come out for Newt in SC she’d have a bit more credibility regarding our opinion of our candidates. As for Congress they are right, up to a point, but the thing to do now is focus on getting more Tea Partiers in Congress. We need to stop whining and get busy!
