ANOTHER SLEAZY DEMOCRAT WORKS TO PROVIDE OBAMA WITH COVER...

With the battle between the Catholic Church and Barry “Almighty over his new health care mandate, continuing to heat up, we‘re now starting to see Democrats beginning to crawl out of the woodwork in defense of new regulations that would require Christian leaders to violate their conscience. And they have been very obvious in their criticism against the church’s reaction to it. The latest slug to do so is Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley, using insulting language as he actually accused Catholic leaders of “hyperventilating” over the new regulation. In a recent appearance on CNN’s “State of the Union,” Mr. O’Malley went so far as to say that he believes church officials are essentially going too far in both their opposition and rhetoric. “I am Catholic. And I think…there’s been a little bit too much hyperventilating over this issue…this is not about abortion,” he said. “It’s about covering contraception as part of the health care coverage, mandatory, basic coverage.” Obviously this moron is nothing more than a Catholic in name only.

The show’s host, the rather manly Candy Crowley, attempted, albeit half-heartedly, to play the devil’s advocate as she appeared to push the governor a bit on his statement, mentioning that the government will now be telling the Catholic Church how to handle its health care coverage. O’Malley responded thusly: “Well, there is an exemption for them, for churches themselves. The exemption does not necessarily extend to institutions like hospitals or universities that employ people of all faiths. But these same rules apply in countries like Italy which have overwhelming numbers of Catholics. And yet we did not see the reaction in those countries to these sorts of things.” Ok, so just because it’s done in Italy, we need to be doing it here? If these pathetic Democrats, such as O’Malley, like Europe so much, why don’t they just go live there and stop trying to turn this country into another Europe? I don’t want to live in Europe, it is a train wreck on nearly every level, morally, socially and economically. It’s a Socialist experiment that has failed miserably.

Then we had White House spokesperson Jay “Dim Bulb” Carney make similar claims, clearly showcasing that the Barry “Almighty” administration is doubling down what is most certainly an over reach of authority. Last week, Carney in talking about the new mandate said, “There was extensive and careful consideration as this policy was developed and a decision was made. And the issue here is we want to be sure women, all women, have access to good health care [...] We want to work with organizations for the next year to help them deal with the implementation of the policy but the decision has been made, and it was made after careful consideration.” What a bunch of bullshit! The Catholic Church is pledging to fight the regulation and deserves the support of non-Catholics everywhere. Anthony Picarello, general counsel for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, has called the White House’s information regarding the matter “misleading and wrong.” Additionally, he has said that the bishops will do everything they can to overturn the mandate. “That means legislation, litigation and public advocacy,” he said. “All options are on the table.”

Our government is way out of control. The Barry “Almighty” administration is clearly the most blatantly anti-religion administration in our history. And in this the most recent battle with the Catholic Church deciding to take a stand, may prove to be just one of many. They have drawn a line in the sand and as I mentioned earlier, they are deserving of all the support that can be mustered by Catholics and non-Catholics alike because any of us can be next. We have a right to our religion with no interference from the government. This despite Barry’s desire to advance his pro-abortion agenda. As with everything else with our “Dear Beloved Leader,” everything, and I do mean everything, boils down to politics. Nothing is safe from Barry’s desire to interfere into the private lives of the American people. The government has no business getting involved with our religious institutions, and try as he might, there is nothing that either our president nor any of his minions can say to justify such an overstepping of authority. This November we need to put a stop to such behavior!

  1. "Religious institutions" are no longer. They are viewed and treated as a voting block.

    1. Maybe that's why our "Dear Beloved Leader" may now be back-tracking on this latest over-reach of his.
