OBAMA, MORE CORRUPT THAN EVEN NIXON...
As this train wreck of a presidency moves toward what many of us hope are it's final days, it is very difficult to deny that our current president will, in all likelihood go down in this nation's history as being the most corrupt president the American people ever have the misfortune to elect. He has done what many would have never thought could be done, he has surpassed Richard Nixon regarding his blatant disregard for the rule of law and he simply refuses to recognize the limitations place on his office by our Constitution. A document that he views as being nothing more than an impediment to his states goal to 'fundamentally transform' our country. Barry "Almighty", our 'Dear Beloved Leader' sees himself more as more of a sovereign individual, as someone who operates from a much higher plain that we mere mortals. Therefore he is free to operate above the law and in any manner that he deems to be appropriate. Remember now, he views himself as being the one that we were all waiting for.
As our 'Dear Beloved Leader', Barry has made it abundantly clear, and on any number of occasions, he sees himself as being able to pick and choose which U.S. laws he wishes to enforce and which he is free to simply ignore. Such as his decision to reverse the order of the Chrysler creditors, his decision not to enforce the Defense of Marriage Act, and his administration’s contempt for national-security confidentiality and Senate and House subpoenas to the attorney general. If one individual can decide to exempt nearly a million residents from the law — when he most certainly could not get the law amended or repealed through proper legislative or judicial action — then what can he not do? Barry is turning out to be the most subversive chief executive in terms of eroding U.S. law since Richard Nixon. And, I think it safe to say, in many respects he can be said to have even surpassed Richard Nixon. I think Barry's scope of corruption is much more broad than was that of Nixon. But other may, of course, disagree with me on that.
Politically, Barry calculates that some polls showing the current likely Hispanic support for him in the high 50s or low 60s may not provide enough of a margin in such critical states as Nevada, New Mexico, and Colorado, or perhaps also in Florida and Virginia, to counteract the growing slippage of the independent vote and the energy of the clinger/tea-party activists. Thus, what was not legal or advisable in 2009, 2010, or 2011, suddenly has become critical in mid-2012. No doubt free green cards will quickly lead to citizenship and a million new Democrat voters. But will it work politically? Barry must assume a lot of things: First that all Hispanics vote as a block in favoring exempting more illegal aliens from the law, Second, that they are without worry that the high unemployment rate hits their community among the hardest, and Third, that black voters, stung by his gay-marriage stance, will not resent what may be seen as amnesty, possibly endangering what is seen as being his slim lead in key battleground states.
Now look, I'm about as far removed as you can get from being any kind of an expert on the economy. But having said that, I can't help but wonder what sense it makes, economically, to formalize nearly a million new legally authorized workers when unemployment is already approaching its 41st consecutive month over 8 percent, and that's after Barry promised us long ago that if we would just support his bogus stimulus package unemployment would remain firmly below 8 percent. In California, the slowing of illegal immigration, due mostly to the fence and tough times, has led to steep wage hikes for entry-level and farm labor, and given a little more clout to Americans in so-called unskilled-labor fields. In other words, it really is true that the real beneficiaries of border enforcement are low-paid Hispanic-Americans and African-Americans who become more valued when they are not competing with virtually unlimited numbers of illegal-alien workers. So, why would anyone vote to, in effect, devalue themselves?
When you collate this recent act with all of his near endless class-warfare rhetoric, the “punish our enemies” threats, Barry’s and Holder’s serial racialist statements, the huge borrowing, the national-security leaks, the takeover of health care, the push for redistributive taxes, and even the trivial appointments like a Van Jones, Anita Dunn, or Armendariz, you can fairly conclude that Barry most certainly did not like the way the United States operated for the last 30 or so years, and has tried his best, through hook or crook, to change America in ways that simply were not possible through legislative or even judicial action. Give Barry credit. He has thrown down the gauntlet and essentially boasted: This is my vision of the way the new America should work — and if you don’t like it, try stopping me in November, if you can. I tell you what, I pray every single night that there are still enough of us left who are willing to do what we can to wrestle control of our country away from this Socialist fanatic.
"In many ways, President Obama has fulfilled the dream of an imperial presidency that Richard Nixon strived for. On everything from (the Defense of Marriage Act) to the gaming laws, this is a president who is now functioning as a super legislator. He is effectively negating parts of the criminal code because he disagrees with them. That does go beyond the pale." That damning indictment was actually spoken by Jonathan Turley, a constitutional law scholar at George Washington University Law School known for his support of progressive causes.
