SWIFTBOAT 2.0?

Could be. And the reason I say that is because today, Ryan Zinke, an ex-Navy SEAL and Montana State Senator, announced the launching of Special Operations for America, a political action committee that will be dedicated to “the election of Mitt Romney and like-minded candidates.” A statement announcing the launch of SOFA said, “Navy SEAL’s, Special Operations Personnel and Veteran’s across America have been outraged since Barack Obama conveniently took credit for killing Osama Bin Laden for political gain,” It went on to say, “The active duty military has no voice as they are forbidden to publicly engage in the political campaign process and it is career suicide for senior military leaders to speak out against the President.” Barry cannot be allowed to get away with this! To allow him to do so would be a travesty.

Mr. Zinke, who has frequently slammed the president’s handling of the raid that killed Osama bin Laden, reiterated his criticisms of the operation. “The President has failed and he is jeopardizing the safety of our troops, their families and our National security for political gain. Obama has exposed the identity of special operations units, leaked classified information, and limited the rules of engagement of forces on the ground,” said Mr. Zinke. “For those who have taken an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic, it is a call of duty to take back America from a Commander-in-Chief that is incapable of understanding the sacrifices that have been made for the values that have made America great.” A point very well made and that hits the nail very squarely on the head. Barry care little about those many sacrifices.


Mr. Zinke has served in the Montana State Senate since 2009. According to Afghanistan and Iraq Veterans for Congress, a political action committee dedicated to electing Republican vets, Mr. Zinke was a member of SEAL Team Six, the elite unit that killed Bin Laden, from 1990 until 1993 and from 1996 until 1999. He held several titles including Task Force Commander. In 2004, In 2004, was named “Deputy and acting Commander, Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force-Arabian Peninsula in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM” in that capacity he “led a force of over 3500 Special Operations personnel in Iraq in the conduct of 360 combat patrols, 48 Direct Action missions, and hundreds of sensitive operations” and “was responsible for killing or capturing 72 known enemy insurgents and terrorists.” A very distinguished record indeed.


We always hear from scumbag liberal politicians who enjoy portraying themselves as being some sort of military geniuses, when in fact they do nothing more than to take the credit for the deeds done by those men and women who are the true military experts and our true heroes. An attempt made to garner some level of stature for himself didn't quite work out too well for John Kerry, even though he spent a very brief and yet very personally rewarding time in Vietnam. He was proven to be the fraud that he is to the American people. Now we have Barry attempting to take far more credit than he deserves for an operation he really had very little to with when comparing the level of risk involved between himself and those involved . And, as we all know, he had planned to blame those involved had the operation not come off as it did. Because, you see, politics trumps everything.


Guys like Barry and Kerry are typical Democrats in that they always try to get away with all manner of lies as they attempt to convince the American voters that they are somehow pro military and strong on national defense. But nothing could be further from the truth. So, they must be held accountable and exposed as being the frauds that they are regarding such matters. It is a well known fact that for decades Democrats have had a rather low opinion of those who serve. They simply don't understand how it is that anyone could love their country and what would motivate someone to willing go off and fight for it and possible even die defending it. They are simply unable to comprehend such a level of patriotism. They hate this country and see it as not being worthy of dying for. And yet they always try to pretend just the opposite.
