Actor Jason Alexander, you remember that dope don’t ya, he’s the little pudgy guy who hasn’t had a decent gig since his Seinfeld days, has had several political and media flare-ups in recent years reminiscent of his signature role as George Costanza. Alexander has tweeted jabs at Mitt Romney during the Republican presidential debate last February, and the quickly apologized to The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation after calling cricket a “gay sport” on “The Late Late Show” with Craig Ferguson in June. Come on Jason, either it’s a gay sport or it isn’t. You see, that’s just how patently hypocritical these pathetic liberals are. They make a statement that shows how they really feel and then pretend to apologize for offending people. They want it both ways.
Then on Sunday, like anyone care what he thinks about anything, this fat dolt of a moron tweeted a link to a lengthy statement on, of all things, the “Dark Knight” shooting and reactions to an earlier comment he made that “he cannot understand support for legality of the kind of weapon in this massacre.” He begins his little rant by saying, “I‘d like to preface this long tweet by saying that my passion comes from my deepest sympathy and shared sorrow with yesterday’s victims and with the utmost respect for the people and the police/fire/medical/political forces of Aurora and all who seek to comfort and aid these victims.” He continues, “Clearly, the angry, threatened and threatening, hostile comments are coming from gun owners and gun advocates.”
And then he writes. “Despite these massacres recurring and despite the 100,000 Americans that die every year due to domestic gun violence – these people see no value to even considering some kind of control as to what kinds of weapons are put in civilian hands.” Alexander later tweeted a correction that he intended to write “100,000 incidents” of death or injury with guns per annum, not ”100,000 guns deaths.” I’m not sure where he gets his numbers from, but I’m sure that like most liberals when describing their current favorite grievance, he probably just makes them up as he goes along. Sorry there Jason, but you’re gonna have to show just where it is that you found this little fact. Because for this idiot to claim that 100,000 incidents involving guns take place in this country
Alexander goes on to analyze the text of the Second Amendment as he understands it, what Alexander Hamilton had to say about a militia, and the Merriam-Webster definition of the word. “The advocates of guns who claim patriotism and the rights of the 2nd Amendment – are they in well-regulated militias? For the vast majority – the answer is no,” the actor writes. “There is no excuse for the propagation of these weapons. They are not guaranteed or protected by our constitution,” Alexander concludes near the end of the over 1,700-word statement. “If they were, then we could all run out and purchase a tank, a grenade launcher, a bazooka, a SCUD missile and a nuclear warhead. We could stockpile napalm and chemical weapons and bomb-making materials in our cellars under our guise of being a militia.”
Many celebrities took to Twitter Friday and over the weekend to offer condolences to victims and their families while commenting on the sadness of the situation, with most avoiding political commentary. However, not long after the shooting was reported CNN’s ratings juggernaut Piers Morgan tweeted that “America has got to do something about its gun laws.” Q-Tip, formerly of the hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest, commented, “Bloomberg is gonna us this to ramp up that stop n frisk thing…” Huh? I’d have to say that both of these clown possess relatively the same IQ. As I have asked on any number of other occasions, why is it that these entertainment types can’t stick to talking about those things that they kinda do best. Most of them were unable to even successfully navigate their way out of high school and yet they think they have sufficient knowledge on the important topics of the day that makes them worth listening to. NOT!
