Personally, I wasn’t one of those who was overly
concerned about whether or not Trump would choose to endorse Paul Ryan. And now that he has I’m fairly confident that
there will come a day, should Trump win, when he will regret having done
so. I was a little confused by claims
that Trump’s failure to do so somehow represented a split in the party. I had to laugh whenever I heard Trump being
criticized, by a mix of Democrats and the NeverTrump crowd, for not endorsing
someone who was actually referred to as a “mainstream Republican.” And I was hoping Trump would end up endorsing
is Ryan’s primary opponent, Mr. Paul Nehlen.
Let’s face it, Ryan is nothing if not the “poster
boy” for the Chamber of Commerce and as such he very enthusiastically supports
the Chambers’ continuing desire for cheap foreign labor regardless of how it
might come to impact even his own constituents.
Since practically Ryan first set foot into Congress he has never, ever,
been supportive of any of the many attempts that have been made to secure our southern
border, or to do anything substantial about the issue of illegal immigration
into the country. While he’s provided
plenty of lip service, he has never done anything that would have resulted in a
more secure border! NEVER!
Trump’s endorsement notwithstanding, Ryan needs to
display a little honesty and stand up in front of his constituents and say:
‘Look, I’m an open borders guy. The Chamber [of Commerce] believes in it, the Chamber
wants cheap labor, [and] I respond to what the Chamber wants. I always have.
I’m an establishment guy.’ He needs to tell his constituents who he is. I think
that’s the really responsible and respectable thing to do. [Tell voters] ‘I’m
for TPP even though, yeah, most of my constituents are going to get hurt by it,
but the Chamber wants that.’ He should stand do that because it’s the truth,
and he has a responsibility to tell people the truth.
When I hear ‘RINO Ryan’ say things like how he’s so
dedicated about doing something about our border, and about how he’s meeting
with people to see how we can strengthen the border, I know that it’s all
nothing but pure political bullshit! So
what I wish to do here is to throw the B.S. flag. You know, there’s a reason that people are so
cynical about Congress, and about politicians. And this is one of the reasons why. Because how can you have a guy, who has
dedicated his entire political life essentially to one set of policies, ideas
and principles, and then yet come home and tell his constituents something that
which is the complete opposite.
There are essentially two problems in trying to deal
with the immigration issue. The first problem is, of course, the Democrat Party
which views massive immigration, both legal and illegal, as being nothing more
than a source of voter pool replenishment. The second problem, and just as
powerful an enemy by the way, is the Republican Party which views massive
immigration, both legal and illegal, as a source of cheap labor. And that
philosophy was represented by the Chamber of Commerce, the U.S. Chamber of
Commerce. And by working to achieve
their goal the Republicans are doing nothing more than to reduce the life
expectancy of their party, my party.
While we may have had, at one time, a viable and
robust two party system, it’s been over time that the two parties have moved
much closer together, regarding their political philosophy, much to detriment
of the country and of the American people, who have been forced to pay a price
in both the amount of their hard earned money they are forced to turn over the
government and in the amount of freedom that they have lost because of
individuals like Ryan. Conservatives, if
they wish to return the Republican Party to what it once was, must position
themselves to seize control of it in the same way that the American left has
seized control of the Democrat Party.
But I have to be honest, we are rapidly running out
of time, as well as the number of chances, we have left to do what so desperately
needs to be done. And if we are to have
any hope of being successful in that endeavor, despite Trump’s endorsement of
Ryan, we, as voters, must still work as hard as we can to get rid of Ryan and
all of those like him in this election.
The truth is, we have within our party today individuals who are really
nothing more than a cancer, a cancer that is slowly, but surely, killing our
party. After the 2010, 2012 and 2014
elections we chose to support the Republicans only to find out after the
election that we had been lied to.
And if Trump intends to be of any help in that
process then he is going to have to remain focused on that which is the big
picture. And I think had Trump endorsed
Ryan’s opponent it would have increased the odds of Ryan’s defeat, which I
think would be a good thing. And by
doing so I think he would have accomplished two things, demonstrated his
seriousness about immigration reform and that he does intend to push the
building of wall through Congress, and he would have put the fear of God into
those, like Ryan, who might then start to rethink the Ryan philosophy of
putting Americans second, whereas Trump’s desire is to put Americans
first.
Now I’m not here to try to convince anyone that
Trump has been some life-long conservative, I’m not that naïve. But like it or not at least this time around
he is the ONLY option that we have if we are going to succeed in our mission of
returning the Republican Party to being that which would truly be a
conservative alternative to a Democrat Party that has now moved so far to the
left as to make it nearly indiscernible from the Communist Party. To the degree that Chuckie Schumer, Debbie Wizzerman Schultz, and even Hitlery, can’t tell the difference. So we on the right have just 94 days to come
together, and begin turning back to the right.
