At some point between now and November 6, the American people, at least those who possess even the slightest desire to get this thing called America turned around, are going to have to decide what type of individual they want as their president. A smooth talker who does nothing more than to lie to them every chance he gets, or someone who, while he may lack the smoothness, actually loves this country, is a man of faith, and has a genuine desire to see everyone, not just those who voted for him, succeed. Barry has this peculiar habit of claiming to not just be the president of the blue states, but the president of all the states. But, sadly, when looking back over the last four years, that just has not been the case. He has sued Arizona over its immigration policy, has ignored the pleas of very other border state, he has been extremely slow to offer assistance to states that are fighting huge wild fires in New Mexico, Arizona and Texas, he’s robbed from the Gulf states, especially Louisiana, of a big chunk of their livelihood by severely restricting drilling in the Gulf and was also extremely slow in answering the call to those southern states ravaged by storms. And, oh by the way, every single one of those states is a state with a Republican governor and therefore a red state.
It was back in 2008 when we heard Barry so adamantly that it was his intention to be the president of all Americans not only of those whose votes he received. But that never became a realty, not even remotely. From my point of view he’s essentially only been the president of those takers in our society, those 47 percenters, doing his best to portray the makers as being some sort greedy villain. After all it’s all the fault of the makers that the takers have never managed to get beyond their current locale, there on the lower rungs of the ladder. They are the poor victims in our society, whose only purpose in life is to be taken advantage of by all of those evil makers. The makers, on the other hand, at least from Barry’s rather socialistic point of view, are there for one purpose, and one purpose only. Actually those folks kind of serve a dual purpose for him. Barry can blame them for all of the supposed evils of society because of their supposed greed, and can also place a higher and higher tax burden on them to finance his vote buying scheme involving most of those same 47 percenters that we’ve been hearing about for the better part of this week. I only point this out because I view it as being so blatantly hypocritical for Barry to accuse Romney of wanting to be president only of those who pay taxes.
