WHY I COULD NEVER BE A DEMOCRAT…

I suppose it can be argued that there was a time in the history of our country where Democrats were more for the working man and the middle class, while the Republican Party, it can be said, tended to lean toward the more affluent.  Over the years, however, this, like many other things in our world, gradually came to change.  Today, although you wouldn’t know it from listening to Barry, it’s the Republican Party who champions the middle class; while the Democrats, the Liberals, and Progressives favor welfare, ever bigger government, and an expanding of the nanny state.

The Democrats of today long ago gave up their morals, and were apparently glad to do so.  And in so doing they have officially turned their backs the traditional values that made this country truly unique, even exceptional, among all others.  They have become strong proponents of abortion, aka infanticide, aka the murdering of innocent children, and they continue to trivialize traditional marriage, which by definition is a union between a man and a woman, and opted instead for the support of marriages between two men or two women and consider that to be legal.

I guess you could say one of the prime examples, other than Barry, for why I could never come to identify myself as a Democrat is Nancy Pelosi.  Pelosi is, or so I’m told, a Catholic.  And something that appears to be of very little concern to her is the fact that she has now been virtually excommunicated from her Church because of her views on abortion. It was just last year that Pelosi was given the “Margaret Sanger Award” because of her “leadership, excellence, and outstanding contributions to the reproductive health and rights movement” over the course of her ‘illustrious’ career.

Pelosi was presented this award by Planned Parenthood, none other than the largest abortion provider in the United States.  And keep in mind here that besides being a devout racist and proud supporter of the Ku Klux Klan, Sanger was also, as you may or may nor recall, a huge advocate for eugenics and described children as “human weeds.”  She also opened the Birth Control Clinical Research Bureau in Manhattan to provide contraceptives to women.  Why would any modern day Christian want to revere a person like Nancy Pelosi, who is recognized as a ‘Margaret Sanger?’ 

Pelosi is the same woman who told America, “We have to pass the Obamacare bill to know what is in it!”  That is probably one of the most backward statements I have heard in a generation, but it seems to be the mindset of the Democrat Party and the people who run it.  Pelosi is also another one of those liberals who routinely push racism every chance they get in an attempt to divide our country and deflect the failed policies of our president from the minds of potential voters.  To me, the Democrat Party has also become the party of:

1.  Using black people as weapons

2.  Employing Alinsky Method attacks against anyone who stands in the Democrat Party’s way

3.  Diverting tax dollars to unions so unions can launder the money and give it back to Democrats

4.  Treating gay people like ATMs

5.  Reducing women to unthinking, sex-starved, vaginal monsters that love killing their babies

6.  Destroying the economy

7.  Promoting Islam

8.  Raising taxes, fees, fines, and other prices to make families destitute

9.  Getting as many people as possible dependent on the government as they can

10. Encouraging a new outbreak of HIV/AIDS in the gay community so that gays won’t abandon the Democrat Party (with DADT gone as an issue, they need something to keep gays focused on and getting as many gay men as possible infected with HIV and dependent on the government for their meds is a Democrat Party-approved control mechanism)

11. Removing checks and balances and allowing a Democrat President to rule by fiat

12. Empowering the government to decide what is best for people

13. Taking power away from states and centering instead in an imperial Washington, DC

It has been difficult at best to live through the last six years, and to think that we still have to endure two more long years of Barry, seems nearly unbearable.  A man who were it not for the color of his skin would have never been elected in the first place.  His only legacy will be that his entire presidency was based on nothing more than a series of lies.  Lies about healthcare ‘reform’, lies about the economy, lies about his supposed desire to help the middle class, and the lie he told us all when he declared that transparency and the rule of law would be the touchstones of his presidency.

  

It’s a pity that the American people have had to be subjected to a man who, I would argue, made it clear from the very beginning, that his mission was one that involved the systematic destruction of, or to use his words to “fundamentally transform”, the United States of America.  And yet it was those of us who do not count ourselves among those who proudly call themselves Democrats, who made it possible for this man to get elected, both times.  We essentially aided and abetted those who voted for this bad be either selecting a defective candidate or by choosing not to vote.

I think it is very safe to say that it has long been the goal of the Democrat Party to get our country to the place where it is today, with it literally hanging by a thread.  And it was a perfect storm, so to speak, that had Barry “Almighty” arriving onto the scene combined with complete Democrat control of Congress for the first two years of his presidency that set us on a path that we may never fully recover from.  When the economy should have the focus, the bogus ‘stimulus’ package notwithstanding, Democrats chose seizing control of our healthcare.  Democrats hate this country, and in voting for them you are proving that you hate this country as well.

THE THREAT WE FACE FROM THE RABID FINANCIERS OF PROGRESSIVISM IS VERY REAL…

What is it with these holier-than-thou, leftwing wacko billionaires like ‘Nanny Mike’ Bloomberg, ‘Douche-Bag Tom’ Steyer and the king of all Democrat sugardaddys, George Soros?  What is it, exactly, that seems to make them think that just because they have all this money, and a very obvious, deep-seated hatred of America as well, that their wealth somehow entitles them to be able to dictate to the rest of us, or manipulate through the tactical use of their great wealth, how the rest of us should be made to live?  And all under the guise of combating something referred to as ‘climate change/global warming/climate disruption’, and that does not even exist!    

The latest example of just how out of control these egomaniacal leftwing lunatics really are, comes by way of ex- New York City Mayor, ‘Nanny Mike’, a left wing kook, who at a press briefing at the Sierra Club in Washington, D.C. just this past Wednesday, announced that he would be contributing $30 million to the Club’s “Beyond Coal” campaign, which is designed to shut down the nation’s coal plants. The $30 million is in addition to the $50 million ‘Nanny Mike’ already gave to the campaign, which has also changed its initial goal of shutting down 1/3 of the country’s coal plants by 2020 to shuttering 50 percent of the plants by 2017.

Michael Brune, who, while being the executive director of the Sierra Club, is also another one of those fanatical environmentalist kooks who resides somewhere in the faraway nether-regions of the radical left-wing kook fringe, thanked all of the “coal fighters” who attended the event, telling them it was “because of you” that the campaign launched in 2011 has already succeeded in the “retirement” or “repurposing” of 187 coal plants in the United States.  To have such a thing as your stated mission strikes me as being nothing more than borderline psychotic.  What sort of twisted mentality must be possessed for such a statement to even be made?

And then we had Mikey Bloomberg, who said, “Beyond Coal is taking our country in the right direction.”  To which this recent escapee from a rubber room then added, “It’s the direction that will help our community, not hurt it, because the price of pollution and environmental damage has suffered our economy as well as our lives.”  He went on to say, “Saying that we’re destroying jobs in the coal mining industry is not quite as bad, not quite as true as people would want you to believe.”   And while never explaining how it is that destroying coal jobs is positive, he did say, “But we are adding jobs in other industries.”  Which industries might he be speaking of, I wonder?

In demonstrating the fact that he is truly quite delusional, Mikey said, “And we are saving lives and I think that’s what’s really important.”  And he went on to say, “Instead of protecting an industry that will continue shrinking because of technology and because of less demand, elected officials should be making investments that will help people find jobs and build careers in industries that will continue growing.”  And he very proudly declared, “Coal’s days are numbered.”  To have such a thing as being your objective is something that most Americans, I think, would not be all that supportive of.  And yet, that remains the goal of these zealots.

Jason Hayes, associate director of the American Coal Council, states that ‘Nanny Mike’s’ claim of the benefits of stopping coal production ignores the cost to tens of thousands of American workers.  Mr. Hayes said, “Tens of thousands of people are being put out of work, and even worse is that they’re bragging about it.”  And he added, “That, to me, is fundamentally sick: to brag about putting people out of work.”  He said, "One wonders if the Sierra Club is going to put any of Mr. Bloomberg’s multimillion dollar gifts to work helping these miners and families get retrained, or to help them pay their bills.”  “Or will they continue to enjoy their six- (or more) figure salaries and comfortable homes while they continue their campaigns to put more American miners out of work and shut down America’s industry? I think we both know the answer to that question."

According to the federal Energy Information Administration, coal is an “abundant” energy resource in the United States.  The agency state on its website that, “The United States is home to the largest estimated recoverable reserves of coal in the world.”  And it goes on to say, “In fact, we have enough estimated recoverable reserves of coal to last more than 200 years, based on current production levels.”  And adds, “Coal is produced in 25 states spread across three major coal-producing regions,” the website states. “In 2013, approximately 70% of production originated in five states: Wyoming, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.”

And it’s according to the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE) that at the end of 2012 there were 557 coal-fueled power plants in the United States.  And it also according to the ACCCE that by 2015, over 90 percent of U.S. coal-fueled electric generating capacity will have installed clean coal technologies and other advanced emission controls to reduce harmful emissions.  And the fact that none of this makes any difference to Mikey and his many leftist cohorts, should cause any rational thinking American to call into question just what it is that might be motivating these environmentalist wackos who appear to be so eager to shut down our coal industry.

Brune also announced at the event that other “partners” contributing to the campaign would add an additional $30 million to the effort to shutter America’s coal plants, including the Hewlett Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Yellow Chair Foundation, the Grantham Foundation and the Sandler Family Foundation, left wing foundations all.  And it was in a press release distributed to the media at the event that said, “With the new round of funding, the Sierra Club will continue to use tactics as varied as grassroots advocacy, community organizing, paid advertising, technical research and litigation.”

This propaganda piece went on to say, “The Sierra Club will also continue to push regulators to crack down on harmful pollution and replace dirty power generation capacity with solar, wind and energy efficiency.  In addition to helping the country move away from coal towards a new energy economy, today’s investment in the Beyond Coal campaign will put the United States in a stronger position to drive more ambitious climate action at the 2015 United Nations climate change conference in Paris, where nations, businesses, cities, and other actors will convene to make bold commitments on further greenhouse gas emissions reductions.”

It strikes me as being more than a little disconcerting that in a world where there are so many worthy causes in need of more funding, and where the incredible wealth of these men could be used to do so much good, it’s instead that they choose to use their vast fortunes to do only harm.  And it’s these very same men who, if we’re being honest here, are really only interested in one thing and one thing only.  Because while they may claim to be working for the benefit of all, that which is far more often the case is the fact that they are, and very selfishly so, only seeking for themselves some level of benefit, either financially, or to gain for themselves some level of power. 

I often find myself wondering just what it is that these billionaires seem to have against the rest of us.  Why is it that they seem to be so determined in their efforts to make our lives so much more difficult than they need to be?  And another thing, have you ever noticed how it is that the majority of those causes which are funded by these left wing fanatics always have at their goal the further detriment of our country?  And yet it’s those who choose to willing spend their money to combat the progressive agenda underway in this country who are always on the receiving end of all manner slanderous, and patently disgusting, accusations. 

VAN JONES, ANOTHER VOICE FROM THE RADICAL LEFT…

I’m sure everyone has heard, by now, that Rand Paul has officially declared himself to be a candidate for president in 2016.  But as I am not that much of a fan of the Kentucky Senator, that is not what I will be discussing here. The subject of this post will instead be on the fact that CNN, aka the Communist News Network, actually saw fit to bring in Van Jones, a man who has been known to dabble in communism, championed all manner of 9/11 conspiracy theories, and who was, however briefly, Barry “Almighty’s” "green jobs" czar, in to evaluate Paul’s political aspirations.  When Carol Costello asked Jones for his thoughts regarding Paul’s outreach to the black community, Jones only reply was to use the opportunity provided him to slander Republicans in general.  Jones said, “You know, the Republicans have a very tough branding issue when it comes to people of color. Since that they are not in touch. They don't care about some of these communities. I think Rand Paul has been the big exception to that over the past couple of years.”

Jones went on to point out that the Republican Party hasn't attracted the black vote which, while stating the obvious, begs the question, why do CNN commentators fail to emphasize the demographics that Democrats haven't had much, if any, success in reaching out to?  And in using Jones’ failed logic, if the Republican Party's failed outreach to minorities means they don’t care about them, does it then mean that the Democrats’ poor outreach to Christian fundamentalists is proof positive that Democrats don’t care much for conservative Christians?  Despite his applauding Paul for not being one of those “out of touch” Republicans who “don’t care about” minority communities, Jones warned that his extreme views may keep the progressive vote out of his reach, “I think there are other issues though that for young progressives, once they look behind that initial foray, they are going to be concerned. He's rabidly anti-choice. He's against a woman's right to choose when it comes to rape and incest. That's going to be off putting for I think a section of young people.”

Why Jones is talking about the progressive vote when Paul is pursuing the Republican platform remains a mystery.  Also unexplained is how Jones can find the idea of not forcing children to pay for the crimes of their fathers to be a “rabid” position. Especially since the vast majority of aborted children are minorities, and Planned Parenthood, one of the largest abortion mills was founded by a woman who was associated with eugenics as well as with the Ku Klux Klan.  Jones concludes that Rand “is not going to be an easy candidate for either side to deal with because he's so unusual in the mix of views that he has and he has tried to reach out and help that Republican branding problem. I think it has been effective when it comes to young people of color.” In other words, Jones predicts that Rand will alienate Republicans because he likes minorities and he will alienate progressives (who he might not have wanted in the first place) because he has the audacity to believe that children should not pay for the sins of their parents.

Let’s look at Jones’ statement regarding the lack of Republican outreach to blacks for a second.  If we do compare it to the lack of Democrats reaching out to Christian fundamentalists, is there sufficient motivation for either of these groups, blacks or Christians, to do a little outreach of their own.  And which group might stand to gain the most from doing so, the blacks in reaching out to the Republicans or the Christians in reaching out to the Democrats?  I think the answer to that is rather obvious.  And, I would argue, if blacks were to ever find within themselves a willingness to think for themselves I’m confident that they would dump the Democrat Party and in very short order.  And by doing so they would be lifting a tremendous weight off of their backs. I would also argue that both of these groups have much more in common with the Republican Party.  And imagine if they were ever to unite under the banner of the GOP, and become allies in the fight to take back our country back.  What would old Van have to say about that, I wonder? 

OBAMA IS NOT YET READY TO THROW IN THE TOWEL REGARDING ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’…

According to Gallup surveys that have been conducted over the course of the last 15 years, the percentage of Americans who identify themselves as being worried about global warming peaked back in 2000, when 40 percent of us told Gallup that we were worried a “great deal” about it and another 32 percent of us said we worried a “fair amount” about it, making a combined 72% who worried about it a great deal or fair amount.  Since then, the percentage of Americans who worry a great deal or even a fair amount about global warming has declined considerably, almost 24 percent.  From 72 percent in 2000 to 55 percent in 2015.

But evidently such news has apparently had very little effect on how Barry “Almighty” may feel in the subject as he intends to ask the American people to think of ‘climate change’ as a threat not just to the environment, but also to their health.  And Barry has gone so far as to announce a series of steps that private entities like Google and Microsoft are taking to better prepare the nation's health systems for the inevitable effects of a warmer, more erratic climate.  In making this announcement was joined at Howard University Medical School by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy and the head of the Environmental Protection Agency, Gina McCarthy.

Barry did his best to hype what he sees as being hazards of the changing climate.  According to him these include wildfires sending more pollution into the air, allergy seasons growing longer and rising cases of insect-borne diseases.  Barry said, "We've got to do better in protecting our vulnerable families."  And he went on to add that, ultimately, all families will become affected.  Barry then went on to say, "You can't cordon yourself off from air." Obama said. Speaking at Howard University Medical School, he announced commitments from Google, Microsoft and others to help the nation's health system prepare for a warmer, more erratic climate.

Since warning of perils to the planet has gotten Barry only so far with a public skeptical that the steps Barry has taken to curb pollution are worth the cost to the economy, he seems to be taking a different tact, one that will aim to put a spotlight on ways that climate change will have ‘real’ impacts on the body, like more asthma attacks, allergic reactions and injuries from extreme weather.  It was prior to the announcement that Barry advisor, Brian Deese, told reporters, "It's not just the air we breathe — climate change is leading to more heat-related deaths."  And added, "The challenges we face are real and they are clear and present in people's daily lives."

We’re told that Microsoft's research arm will develop a prototype for drones that can collect large quantities of mosquitoes, then digitally analyze their genes and pathogens. The goal there is to create a system that could provide early warnings about infectious diseases that could break out ‘if’ climate change worsens.  Meanwhile, Google has promised to donate 10 million hours of advanced computing time on new tools, including risk maps and early warnings for things like wildfires and oil flares using the Google Earth Engine platform. Google's camera cars that gather photos for its "Street View" function will start measuring methane emissions and natural gas leaks in some cities this year.

Barry’s latest effort to link ‘climate change’ to health issues comes as he’s desperate to build support, apparently by any means necessary, for the steps he's taken to curb U.S. emissions that are opposed by business and industry, including strict limits on vehicles and power plants.  Barry is relying on those emissions cuts to make up the U.S. contribution to a global climate treaty that he and other world leaders expect to finalize this December.  But look, the American people must not, nor can they afford to, allow themselves to become tricked into believing that which is nothing more than yet another attempt to convince them that bogus ‘climate change’ is real.   

DEMOCRATS AND THEIR MORON CONSTITUENCY…

Trust me when I say, that I have firsthand knowledge when it comes be able to recognize those who vote for Democrats as being nothing more than complete morons.  I know, because I work with a good many who constantly make it known that they are not only very proud to be Democrats but actually brag about having voted for Barry “Almighty,” twice.  But whenever you ask any of them what it was, or remains, about him that convinced them that he was the right man for the job, more often than not they have to struggle for any sort of an intelligent answer.

And it just never ceases to amaze me how it is that they can remain so oblivious to all of the damage that he has done, and continues to do, since first being elected.  It’s as if they somehow see themselves as being completely immune to consequences that are sure to come about from all that Barry has ‘accomplished’ during his time in office, not the least of which is his doubling of the nation’s debt.  Or amassing an amount of debt, in 6 short years, equal to that which it had taken every president before him, collectively, to amass.  A very remarkable feat by anyone’s standards.

And so with the monumentally stupid constituency very firmly in their pockets, Democrats only have to get their comrades in the state-controlled media to spread the lies and talking points in order to wrap up every mindless, clueless Democrat vote that there is to be had.  And these same people who slap themselves on the back for voting for Barry are the very same morons who are unable to answer even the most basic of civics questions.  And there is one that I work with each and every day, who has admitted voting for Barry and has no idea what, or where, Mt. Rushmore is.

#10. I vote Democrat because I love the fact that I can now marry whatever I want. I’ve decided to marry my German Shepherd.

#9. I vote Democrat because I believe oil companies’ profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon at 15% isn’t.

#8. I vote Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

#7. I vote Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

#6. I vote Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves. I am also thankful that we have a 911 service that gets police to your home in order to identify your body after a home invasion.

#5. I vote Democrat because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive and comfy.

#4. I vote Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits, and we should take away Social Security from those who paid into it.

#3. I vote Democrat because I believe that businesses should not be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrat Party sees fit.

#2. I vote Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

And, the #1 reason I vote Democrat is…….. because I think it’s better to pay Billions of dollars for oil to people who hate us, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, gopher, or fish here in America. We don’t care about the beetles, gophers, or fish in those other countries.

These days I no longer hold out much hope that people, at least enough people, will come to snap out of whatever stupor they are now in and begin to work up the necessary courage to take their country back.  It’s with each passing day that I find myself worrying just a little bit more than I did the day before about the future my daughter will be made to endure.  Especially since having the misfortune of being born white and therefore one of those who will be expected to cover the cost of the many ‘benefits’ handed out like candy to the various Democrat constituencies.  

RADICAL ISLAMISTS AND THE DEMOCRAT PARTY, ALLIES IN THE DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA…

I’m fairly confident that most people would agree that the progressive left in this country, which, I think, we can also agree contains a vast majority of those who run around proudly referring to themselves as ‘Democrats’, detests the United States as well as its capitalist economic structure, and in so doing seeks to facilitate that structure's downfall by any, and all, means necessary.  And I am also quite confident in saying that that would include the formation of whatever alliances thought to be necessary to increase the odds of that ultimate objective being met. One such an alliance, which at one time might have seemed rather unlikely, but has over the course of the last six years come to seem all the more plausible, is that the progressive left, aka the Democrat Party, can now be said to have forged an alliance with those considered to followers of radical, fundamentalist Islam.

But while the Democrat Party wishes to bring about the end of the Unites States, at least as it was originally conceived, the radical Islamists emphatically and unambiguously reject virtually everything for which the progressive left at least claims to stand: the peaceful resolution of international conflict; respect and tolerance for other cultures and faiths; civil liberties; freedom of expression; freedom of thought; human rights; democracy; women's rights; gay rights; and the separation of church and state.  So it would seem that here could be no stranger bedfellows than the progressive left, aka the Democrat Party and Islamic extremists. Yet they have been brought together by the one overriding desire that both possess.  That being, of course, their hatred for America; their belief that the U.S. is the very embodiment of evil on earth and must consequently be destroyed.

Osama bin Laden once told a CNN interviewer, "We declared jihad against America because America is unjust, criminal and tyrannical."  Such a declaration differs little, in either substance or tone, from we continue to hear from Democrats. And in sounding as if he himself was a member of the Democrat Party, he went on to say, "America is the head of heresy in our modern world, and it leads an infidel democratic regime that is based upon separation of religion and state and on ruling the people by the people via legislating laws that contradict the way of Allah and permit what Allah has prohibited. This compels the other countries to act in accordance with the same laws in the same ways . . . and punishes any country [that rebels against these laws] by besieging it, and then by boycotting it. By so doing [America] seeks to impose on the world a religion that is not Allah's."

While the Democrat Party here at home makes no such religious references, it does, however, contend, like radical Islamists, that it’s the United States that is determined to overrun other nations and therefore dominate the world.  Radical Islam seeks purification and "social justice" by means of jihad, or holy war, whose highest ideal is martyrdom achieved while attempting to conquer an evil worldly power such as the United States, the Great Satan (and Israel, the Little Satan). The radical Islamist's ultimate goal is to subdue the "infidel" nations and therein institute sharia, or Islamic law, so as to redeem the world for Allah.  The radical left, similarly, advocates revolution as the means of achieving its ends -- eliminating capitalism and creating a socialist paradise or that ever elusive utopia right here on earth.

While Islamic radicals seek to purge the world of heresies and of the infidels who practice them, Democrats seek to purge society's collective "soul" of the vices allegedly spawned by capitalism: racism, sexism, imperialism, and greed.  Just as Islamic radicals aim to impose their religion on the rest of the world in a totalitarian fashion requiring unwavering obedience, so do Democrats strive to create an omnipotent socialist state that will control every aspect of daily life and will impose a universal brand of "social justice" on all Americans.  Central to both radical Islam and the American left is an inclination to overthrow the existing order by any means necessary, so as to create a paradise on earth.  Democrats may find the bigotry and intolerance of Islamic radicals repugnant, but their desire to rid the world of U.S. "imperialism" and capitalism overrides this revulsion, thus they ally themselves with the Islamic terrorists.

So we can very plainly see that there seems to be this shared affinity when it comes to radical Islamists and the Democrat Party which can be said to stem from their shared belief that America is in fact the Great Satan and must be destroyed at all costs.  And in sounding remarkably like Osama bin Laden, it was Barack Hussein Obama who was once heard to say from the podium there at the United Nations:  The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: "Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit."  Over the last few years it has become increasingly difficult to tell the Democrats from the radical Muslims.

Today’s Democrat Party will almost always side with Muslims against American ideals and laws and, in particular, against Christian beliefs and practices.  It is a curiosity, to say the least.  You would think that Islam and liberalism would have absolutely nothing in common and, dare I say, would even be diametrically opposed to one another.  But the two belief systems actually have very much in common.  Liberals and Muslims despise most of what patriotic, religious Americans cherish and revere.  This makes them common enemies of the American enterprise: comrades de guerre, so to speak.  Where there is conflict between the Islamic and leftist ideologies, the Muslims will always prevail.  Democrats will never confront the Islamists, in the fear that to do so would weaken their ally, or that it could produce a backlash so violent and devastating that the beneficial alliance would be destroyed forever.

It’s amazing, even fascinating, to watch Democrats as they bend themselves into pretzels as they try to defend and support their Muslim allies in light of the latter's historical and continuing offenses against the most hallowed tenets of liberalism: hanging homosexuals; stoning adulterers; maiming criminals; abusing and raping women and children; beheading and crucifying non-believers; killing, dismembering, and having sex with the corpses of women; invading embassies and torturing and killing Americans and raping the body of the ambassador.  Instead of getting tough with the Islamists for their horrors, Barry and his leftist followers provide cover for them.  The horrific crimes and depredations committed by Islamists are endless, yet liberals manage to "tolerate" them.  You would think that people with any kind of claim to a moral mantle would not be able to tolerate so much evil. 

But such is not the case when speaking of Democrats.  Democrats cope with these contradictions by simply choosing to deny that they really exist or by convincing themselves that Islamic practices are justified and the result of cultural differences, poverty, Zionism, the need for jobs, or something that George Bush did.  The more you compare the beliefs of Islamists and liberals, the more similarities you will actually find.  Below is a series of statements.  See if you are able to distinguish which of them more closely describes Islamism or liberalism?  Muslim or liberal?  You decide:

•You have many ideas and beliefs, and you insist that other people conform to them.

•You believe that lying to obtain your objectives is completely acceptable.

•You enjoy mass demonstrations, chanting, and rioting.

•You get a particular kick out of burning the American flag.

•You have a belief system filled with contradictions, and you regard that as normal.

•You hate Ronald Reagan.

•You discriminate against everyone who does not believe as you do.

•You think it is obligatory to be offensive toward those who disagree with you.

•You believe that you have the right to take from others.

•You enjoy destroying the religious symbols of others.

•Your meeting places are actually enemy outposts from which you plan the overthrow of the free world.

•You believe you should be able to have sex with anyone you can physically subdue.

•You absolutely do not believe in freedom of speech.

•You believe that violence is integral to the pursuit of your worthy goals.

•You view freedom as an unacceptable proposition.

•Your prophets have long been shown to be false.

•You believe in using government police or military force to impose your beliefs on others.

•You hate all religions except your own.

•You believe that pedophilia is proper and moral.

•You believe that morality is defined by the rules of the cult you follow.

•You often engage in mob violence.

•You think that books and publications you don't approve of should not be available to others. You believe that freedom of the press is a terrible idea.

•You hate Christianity and Judaism.

•You engage in blasphemy on a daily basis.

•Your ultimate goal is that everyone else in the world submit to what you believe.

•You believe that bullying is an acceptable tactic.

•You do not believe in religious freedom.

•You are a racist.

•You believe that women are sex objects.

•You believe that incest is relative.

•You abuse Western ideals of religious freedom and tolerance and use them as wedge opportunities to overthrow the society you live in.

•You have your own set of laws.

•You believe that Christianity must be destroyed at all costs.

•You believe that America is the Great Satan.

•You believe that people who don't believe as you do should be killed or subjugated.

•You believe that the USA has too much power and must be brought down.

•You do not recognize the divinity of Jesus Christ.

•You do not believe in the Founding Fathers, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, freedom and liberty, or anything American.

•You believe that the ends justifies the means.

•You believe that you must win at any cost.

So, Islamist or Progressive?  In the end, when you get right down to it, is there really any recognizable difference in what either one of these totalitarian ideologies espouse, or in what they wish to achieve?  Don't both of them pose a very clear and present danger to this country?  What makes those in the Democrat Party think they are any better than the radical extremist Muslims?  Whatever they believe, it is up to those of us who love freedom and liberty to deal with them, both of them.  Now I am well aware of the fact that it’s considered as being less than civil, even politically incorrect, to claim that Democrats hate this country, or are unpatriotic.  But in so doing Democrats have you ever noticed how Democrats choose to respond to such accusations?  It’s always in a way that would seem to indicate there is more than just a little truth to the accusation.  Why else ally themselves with terrorists?      

JAMES CLYBURN…LIAR, MORON, HYPOCRITE, RACIST…

I always have to laugh whenever someone tries to tell me how it is that those in the black community are so religious because, personally, I just don’t see it.  Just because one may go to church every Sunday, that doesn’t make one any more religious than someone who does not.  And, my first question to anyone who makes this silly claim is to ask them a little question of my own.  I ask them, if blacks are so religious how is it, then, that they can still continually vote for members of a party, the Democrat Party, which is so very clearly at war with people of faith?

And one of these very same Democrats is none other than Jim ‘The Tea Party Is A Bunch of Racists’ Clyburn, of South Carolina, the third ranking Democrat in the House.  It’s this moron who makes the rather idiotic claim that religious freedom laws, along with stand your ground laws and voter ID rules, are all part of some coordinated effort, some conspiracy even, to marginalize ‘certain’ Americans.  By ‘certain’, he means black.  He says they “are the same kind of legislative activities that we experienced in this country following the ending of Reconstruction.”

This racist asshole told reports gathered at office this past Thursday, “I will ask you, to just go back and do just a simple reading of what was taking place in this country in between 1876 and 1895 when southern states initiated these new constitutions that led to second-class citizenship of African-Americans, and you will find it’s like you’re reading yesterday's news.”  He’s simply choosing to distort the facts here, and he knows it.  But he is free to distort history knowing he won’t be challenged, because those to whom he’s speaking tend to know absolutely nothing about the Constitution.   

This racist creep went on to say, “The so-called religious freedom cases that seem to be working their way through legislatures are all a part of this American Legislative Council – ALEC. These are legislative actions that are being coordinated nationwide by this group.”  He added, “This is also the same group that’s been developing and coordinating legislation -- ‘stand your ground’ laws, that legislation has been deployed all over the country. It’s also the same group that’s been developing all of these 'voter ID' cases or legislative actions that have been proliferating throughout the country.”

“I do know history. I’ve studied it. I’ve taught it and I read it incessantly, and my reading of the history of this country tells me that what we are beginning to experience legislatively throughout the country are the same kind of legislative activities that we experienced in this country following the ending of Reconstruction.”  I find it quite ironic that while this idiot claims to “know history”, “to have taught and read it incessantly”, he’s so ignorant if it.  And as with most Democrats, he simply resorts to spewing his own rather bizarre version of history.

And despite the near endless stream of accusations by this boob Clyburn, as well as any number of others, The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) has no position on Indiana’s Religious Freedom Restoration Act. Vice President of Public Affairs for ALEC, Bill Meierling has issued a statement, saying, “However fashionable it is to accuse ALEC of perpetuating the Indiana Religious Freedom Restoration Act, it is wrong to do so. A simple check of the ALEC website proves the organization has no policy or position on the topic.”

For clarification purposes, the American Legislative Exchange Council describes its mission as working to advance limited government, free markets and federalism at the state level in partnership with America’s state legislators, members of the private sector and the general public.  So as you can see why it is that those such as Clyburn would be quite eager to cast this organization, and others like it, as being the perpetrator of what Clyburn describes as attempts to marginalize ‘certain’ Americans. But this is how the left operates, to cast others as being the true enemies of our Republic.        

WILL AMERICA SURVIVE OBAMA??? OR, IS IT ALREADY LOST???

Barry has been only too happy, of late, to run around slapping himself on the back for arranging that which he has constantly referred to as being an “historic understanding” with Iran.  And in doing so he has actually gone so far as to it is a “deal that has succeeded exactly as intended.”  But in reality it accomplishes nothing more than to make what is already a very unstable region of the world even more so.  And too, Barry continues to demonstrate a very sick and twisted loyalty to his Muslim root as he does nothing more than to sit on his hands while practitioners of what is claimed to a “religion of peace” but is in fact nothing more than a bloodthirsty and murderous cult based on hate and violence, dedicated to the killing of Christians.  

And, meanwhile, it’s here at home that Barry seems just as dedicated in his efforts to move this country further along the road to ruin, and as such doesn’t seem to be the least bit concerned about the fact that, at least according to the most recent round of employment numbers, more Americans dropped out of the labor force last month, as that number hit yet another record high in March.  In fact it would almost seem as if he’s going out of his way to encourage such thing to take place.  You see, according to today’s Bureau of Labor Statics jobs data 93,175,000 Americans were not in the work force in March.  And that would be an addition of 277,000 to the 92,898,000 who were not in the labor force in February. 

The work force decline also corresponded with a drop in the labor force participation rate, wherein March’s rate of 62.7 percent matched earlier lows seen September and December 2014 but not seen before since in 1978.  February’s participation rate was 62.8 percent.  That is the first time in our history the number of Americans out of the labor force has exceeded 93 million.  It might be worth noting here that since Barry was first elected we have now seen than number increase by over 12 million Americans, up from 80,529,000.  And we’re expected to accept as fact the continuing numbers presented to us each month as being the nation’s actual unemployment rate, but these numbers possess very little resemblance to the truth.  

Also it was from February to March that the labor force participation rate dropped from 62.8 percent to 62.7 percent, matching a 37-year low.  Five times in the last twelve months has the participation rate been as low as 62.8 percent.  But March’s 62.7 percent, which matches the participation rate seen in September and December of 2014, is the lowest since February of 1978 or the height of the debacle that was the presidency of Jimmy Carter.  Carter has often been referred to as being the worst president in modern American history, but that was only until Barry ‘Almighty” came onto the scene.  And we can only hope that no one comes along who’s worse than Barry.  But if Hitlery gets elected, a worse president is what we’ll get.

In March, the civilian noninstitutional population was 250,080,000 according to BLS. Of that 250,080,000, 156,906,000 -- or 62.7 percent -- participated in the labor force, meaning they either had or job or had actively sought one in the last four weeks.  Of the 156,906,000 who did participate in the labor force, 148,331,000 had a job while 8,575,000 did not have a job but were supposedly actively in search of one. The 8,575,000 are what constitutes the unemployed. They equaled 5.5 percent of the shrunken labor force and thus were those that made up our concocted unemployment rate of 5.5 percent.  Imagine, if you can, what the unemployment would really be if even half of those who have left the work force, hadn’t been encouraged to do so.

And it’s upon delving a little deeper into these numbers that we also find out that we now have a record 12,202,000 black people who were not in the labor force in March, as the participation rate for this group declined over the month to 61.0 percent.  That means that in March we had more than 12 million black people who did not have a job or were actively seek one in the past four weeks. The number climbed from 12,122,000 in February to 12,202,000 in March, or an increase of 80,000.  The labor force participation rate for this group declined from 61.2 percent in February to 61.0 percent in March.  Black unemployment also remained high at 10.1 percent, but did, or so we’re told, decline from 10.4 percent in February.

So we’re told that the unemployment rate for blacks in March was 10.1 percent, which is nearly double what we’re told is the overall national unemployment rate of 5.5 percent. For black teens, age 16 to 19 years old, we’re told the unemployment rate was even higher at 25.0 percent, meaning that one in four black teens who were actively seeking a job did not have one. The participation rate for this group also declined 3.4 percentage points from 29.1 percent in February to 25.7 percent in March.  But the sad truth is that none of these numbers portray what is anywhere near an accurate picture of what is our true employment, or unemployment, situation actually is.  Things are so very much worse than what these numbers indicate. 

But it not only blacks in this country who have taken a hit, because it’s also according to data released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 56,131,000 million women were not in the labor force last month, an increase of more than 100,000 from February when 56,023,000 women were not in the workforce.  The level is a record high, and the labor force participation for the month of March at 56.6 percent is a 27-year low. In February that rate for women was 56.7 percent.  But still, as if by magic, we’re told that the unemployment rate for women managed to decline, from 5.4 percent to 5.3 percent.  Barry’s apparent long term goal here is to, in his remaining years in office, to move as many Americans as possible onto the government dole.

So we can very plainly see that Barry remains very dedicated to increasing both the rate of speed, as well as the angle of descent, of our countries downward spiral.  A downward spiral that is an integral part of his plan for "fundamentally transforming" this country, which was a campaign promise of his back in 2008.  But it’s not just here at home which comes courtesy of his socialist approach to both the creation and then then implementation of various domestic polices, but also courtesy of his ‘Three Stooges” approach to foreign policy.  And it is together with head stooge John Kerry-Heinz, perhaps the worst secretary of state in our history, That Barry has managed to make our country the laughingstock of the entire world!  Call me naïve, but I never imagined that one man would be able to do so much damage, or that the American people would allow it.  I was so, so, wrong.    

THE REINVENTING OF TED KENNEDY…FROM DRUNKEN PERVERT TO “THE GREATEST SENATOR OF ALL TIME”…

Imagine yourself, if you can, a student in our modern-day public school system and you are presented with what is claimed to be, by your teacher, an accurate portrayal of the late Sen. Edward ‘Teddy’ Kennedy.  Now what do the think the odds might be, that you, the young and impressionable student, would be presented with what would be the actual truth regarding this most despicable example of American politicians and not with some fictional account of he who was recently referred to as "the greatest senator of all time," by Sen. Ed Markey, a Democrat.  But then, maybe the better question to ask would be, unless being taught about how far to the left today’s Democrat Party now finds itself, why is it that anyone would be taught anything about the infamous Ted Kennedy, or, for that matter, any member of the blatantly corrupt Kennedy clan?  Other than the one who connived his way into the White House.

But be that as it may, it was on the recent occasion of the opening of something called the "Edward M. Kennedy Institute" in Boston, which was paid for in large part by the U.S. taxpayer, that Scott Pelley, a news anchor for the "Communist Broadcasting System (CBS) Evening News", simply oozed, "Another New England superstar was honored today. Politics was his game, and we'll have his story next."  There was not a single disparaging word, not even the word "liberal", to be heard when describing the man who was arguably the single most leftwing senator of all time.  At least until Barry “Almighty” made his way onto the scene.  And oddly enough when President George W. Bush dedicated his library, it was CBS reporter Jim Axelrod who insisted that "this library is an intellectual fortress defending one of the most controversial modern presidents, whose time in office saw the (9/11) attack on the U.S., two wars and the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression."

The whitewash of Teddy was so complete that even "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace, who becomes more like the leftwing kook that his father was, barked up the carnival: "Up next, our Power Player of the Week: Vicki Kennedy, on her husband's vision to inspire new generations about the U.S. Senate." Wallace noted that Teddy was fiercely partisan, to which the second Mrs. Kennedy replied, "He was the proudest Democrat that there was, but the great thing about Teddy was that he always listened to the other side and worked so well with the other side."  Really?  I can only guess that she doesn’t recall Teddy’s vicious "Robert Bork's America" speech in 1987, when Teddy stated, "Robert Bork's America is a land in which women would be forced into back-alley abortions, blacks would sit at segregated lunch counters, rogue police could break down citizens' doors in midnight raids, schoolchildren could not be taught about evolution, writers and artists would be censored at the whim of government."

And it was NBC that brought on Teddy’s loser of a son, Patrick Kennedy, who proclaimed, "My dad was always an optimist. I mean, having overcome so many of his own personal challenges and political challenges — I mean, this was a guy that everyone loved. Why? Because he persevered."  Patrick, himself, has been known to dabble in any number of controlled substances, such as cocaine, which he may have been under the influence of during this interview.  The former eight-term Rhode Island Democrat is also a big advocate for the legalization of marijuana, saying that pot is no worse than alcohol and that those who claim otherwise base those claims on anecdotal evidence, not science.  It should come as no surprise that Teddy's politician son to spin things this way, but it doesn't mean the hyperbole should go unchallenged by a discerning press. "A guy that everyone loved?"  It’s in that regard that I’m pretty sure that the 1970s, 80s and 90s would beg to differ.

It was in none of these "superstar" tributes that there was any talk of Teddy’s drunkenness, or his womanizing, before and after the senator got divorced from Joan Kennedy in 1982.  Gearing up for Kennedy's presidential run in 1979, Time magazine ran a piece titled "Sex and the Senior Senator."  They wrote, "The mere mention of Edward Kennedy's social life is enough to make an editor's head throb." They lamented out loud about how to handle the topic, concluding with a D.C. dinner party where "14 talented and interesting men and women talked of nothing but (Kennedy's) sexual activities."  But it would appear there are those who seem to remember a very different Teddy, with one of those being RINO John McCain.  It was McCain who announced on "Face the Nation" on CBS that Kennedy was a man of his word (and his vows?): "Ted always kept his word. The only times I saw him angry was when somebody didn't keep their word to him."  Really?

And then it was at the opening ceremonies of this ‘institute’ that bears his name, that Barry shamelessly asked those in attendance, "What if we carried ourselves more like Ted Kennedy? What if we worked to follow his example a little bit harder?"  But I would ask, does that also involve his driving habits?  Oh, that.  And this very obvious double standard also happened to appear in many newspapers. With Bush in 2013, New York Times reporter Peter Baker gave Bush-bashers their due, writing, "While critics have fumed about what they called the whitewashing of his record in the media blitz leading up to the library dedication, many Americans have been reminded about aspects of Bush they once liked."  But today the Times published two gush-filled articles on Teddy, without a single mention of a Kennedy critic. Reporter Carl Hulse wrote, "Members of the (Kennedy) institute's staff said it was not too late for younger Americans to learn how to tolerate an opposing point of view."

Thus what we have here is yet another very clear example of how it is that Democrats feel compelled to build those whom they view as being progressive heroes into what are nothing more than caricatures of legendary stature.  You know, men like LBJ, Robert ‘KKK’ Byrd, Mario Cuomo and even ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton to name just a few.  Look at the myth that they have managed to build FDR into.  And now the very same is being done with Teddy.  We hear how his defenders, of which there are many, argue how it was that he redeemed himself with his "progressive" agenda, up to and including the debacle that is, to this day, referred to as health care "reform."  But when a man is capable of doing what Ted Kennedy did that night in 1969 and in the weeks afterward, what else is he capable of?  I find it rather ironic that it was once said that Teddy’s passing marked "the end of civility in the U.S. Congress." 

MARTY O’MALLEY MADE A MESS OF MARYLAND…AND NOW HE WANTS TO MAKE AN EVEN A BIGGER MESS OF OUR COUNTRY…

Well, you wouldn’t know from listening to any of his many recent speeches as he goes about trying to portray himself as being the only logical alternative to Hitlery Clinton for 2016, but old Marty, here, accomplished little more than to turn the ‘People’s Republic of Maryland’ into a pretty big mess during his eight year tenure as governor.  But that fact seems to be having little effect in dampening, even in the slightest, his presidential aspirations.  But, as they say, the truth will eventually win out.  For instance, taxpayers abandoned his state in droves during his tenure as governor and in 2014, his final year in office as governor, Maryland had the second-highest foreclosure rate in the nation. Now he’s doing his best to ride this embarrassing record all the way to the White House.

It was during one of those speeches, this one at the Brookings Institution earlier in March, that Marty did a little test-drive of the kind of campaign rhetoric that I’m sure we’re going to be hearing a lot more of, if in fact he does decide to officially throw his hat in the 2016 presidential ring.  He said, “Behind all of our data, there are people, living their lives, shouldering their struggles. They deserve a government that works.”  Unfortunately, in the state that Marty governed for eight years, he gave deserving Marylanders anything but a state government that worked.  Today, Marylanders endure what is the real Marty legacy, and it ain’t pretty.  The folks of that state have been made to endure higher taxes, pink slips, process servers, tax liens, and foreclosures.

While Maryland can be said to be blessed with a relatively stable and well-paid federal presence thanks primarily to its key military installations and its close proximity to Washington, D.C., as well as one of the nation’s best seaports and logistical networks of railways and highways, it’s even with such a sound foundation that Marty succeeded in driving jobs and businesses out of his state.  And the result was one of the biggest electoral upsets of the 2014 election that had Maryland voters electing a Republican governor.  Marylanders bounced Marty’s heir apparent, Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown, out of Annapolis and voted instead for Republican Larry Hogan, a guy who never before held elected office, to come in and clean up the mess left behind by Marty & Co..

In looking back at all of the damage done during the O’Malley-Brown years, what we find is a pile of 40 tax, fee, and toll increases that created an additional yearly tax burden of $3.1 billion on top of what Marylanders were already paying the day Marty was first elected.   Did this drive taxpayers out of Maryland? Not according to progressive orthodoxy, but the IRS measures changes in the tax base for every state and county in the nation.  During Marty’s first term, when the majority of new levies kicked in, Maryland accounted for the largest taxpayer exodus in the Mid-Atlantic region, more than 31,000 between 2007 and 2010. The tax base in Baltimore City, Maryland’s most populous city, declined the most: Its 1.4 percent decrease topped all other Maryland jurisdictions.

And so I think we can safely assume that it’s all thanks to Marty’s tax policy that Virginia has now become home to some 11,400 former Marylanders, who took 390 million taxable dollars across the Potomac with them between 2007 and 2010.  In only three of Marty’s eight years in office, Maryland lost more taxpayers than 43 other states. This mass-exodus cost Maryland a staggering $1.7 billion in taxable revenues.  Another telling measurement of Marty’s “accomplishments” is Maryland’s foreclosure rate. At the end of 2014, Maryland ranked second-highest in the nation in foreclosures. The Washington suburb of Prince George’s County had the largest share. This predominately black county supported Marty in both of his statewide races. He repaid the county with foreclosures and economic distress.

Environmental extremism is another one of Marty’s trademark issues. His “rain tax” (collected on quarterly water bills) made Maryland a national laughingstock.  Small businesses weren’t laughing, though, when their water bills skyrocketed in 2013. Baltimore’s elderly, struggling on fixed incomes and already pressed by crime and collapsing neighborhoods, now face liens thanks to the rain tax.  Marty also botched, and rather badly, an opportunity to validate big government with the implementation of Obamacare in Maryland.  Managed by none other than Lieutenant Governor Brown, the administration squandered millions on Maryland’s health exchange and then burned millions more to start over. Brown, like a true Democrat, passed the buck blaming appointed officials lower down the totem pole.

In 2007, Marty came into office on a promise of better, cleaner government — the same promise he made at Brookings this month. Instead, under eight years of Marty, quality of life in Maryland deteriorated, jobs and businesses fled to Virginia, workers were crushed by new taxation, and we saw chronic budget deficits.  As governor, Marty displayed none of the qualities of an effective national leader: devotion to the people, courage, and independence. Marty had an opportunity in Annapolis to convince Marylanders that he was such a leader. Today Maryland is poorer for the experience.   If Marty is elected president, count on more government, more taxation, more regulation, and a government even more detached from the Constitution than the current one is.

And even after all of this, it strikes me as being quite remarkable that Marty is still being touted by such publications as ‘The Hill’ as being a worthy candidate who Democrats should at least consider as being an alternative to Hitlery Clinton.  In fact it’s this very leftist publication than makes the idiotic claim that it’s Marty’s list of accomplishments and his leadership skills that actually far surpass those of Hitlery.  Now I ask you, after experiencing all that we have over the course of the last six years, and with two more left for us to survive, is there anything about the man of whom we have been talking about here that would indicate that he possess a list of accomplishments or has demonstrated the necessary leadership skill that in any way make him deserving of being elected president?
