OBAMA ESTABLISHES FOR A RATHER DUBIOUS DISTINCTION FOR HIMSELF…

According to data released just yesterday by the U.S. Treasury, it would seem that Barry "Almighty", our ‘Dear Beloved Leader’, has accomplished something quite remarkable for himself. Because, you see, when it comes to doing that which Democrats always do best, which is to spend astronomical amounts of other people’s money, Barry, by having presided over five of the six largest annual budget deficits that the U.S. government has ever run, has now, and officially it would seem, has now taken things to a whole new level. In fiscal 2013, which ended Sept. 30, the deficit was $680.276 Billion.

And in looking back over disastrous period of time than covers Barry tenure as president, we see that in fiscal 2012, he was responsible for a deficit of $1.089193 Trillion; in fiscal 2011, the deficit was $1.296791 Trillion; in fiscal 2010, it was $1.294204 Trillion; and, in fiscal 2009, his first year in office, he managed, with the help of his fellow Democrats in Congress, to create a $1.415724 Trillion deficit. In fiscal 2008, which was the last full year that George W. Bush was president, the deficit was bad enough at, ‘only’, $454.798 Billion. Wait a minute, I thought he inherited his massive deficit from Bush.

Even when adjusted for inflation, that $680.276 Billion fiscal deficit for 2013 is only exceeded by one pre-Barry "Almighty" deficit, and that would be the one the U.S. government ran in 1943, during the height of World War II. That year, the deficit was $54,554,000,000--or $738,367,890,000 in inflation-adjusted 2013 dollars. The 2013 deficit of $680.276 Billion exceeded the other annual deficits of the World War II era as well as the annual deficits that the U.S. government ran during World War I, the Vietnam War, or the final years of the Cold War. So Barry has really outdone himself when it comes to spending money we don’t have.

Back in fiscal 1919, which began on July 1, 1918, the U.S. government ran its greatest deficit of the World War I era, at least according to data provided by the Office of Management and Budget. It was $13.363 Billion in 1919 dollars, or $180.863 Billion in 2013 dollars. In 1968, the U.S. ran it greatest annual deficit of the Vietnam War era. Then it was $25.161 Billion in 1968 dollars, or $169.294 billion in 2013 dollars. In 1986, the U.S. ran its largest deficit in the final years of the Cold War. It was $221.227 Billion in 1986 dollars, or $472.628 billion in 2013 dollars. Barry has demonstrated what can be done when you put your mind to it.

As I’m sure you all remember, like it was only yesterday, that Barry "Almighty" was elected on Nov. 4, 2008, a little over a month after the beginning of fiscal 2009. He was inaugurated on Jan. 20, 2009, which was almost four full months into fiscal year 2009. On Feb. 17, 2009, less than a month into his first term, and less than five full months into fiscal 2009, he signed into law what we all knew to be a very bogus "economic stimulus" law, referred to as the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The Congressional Budget Office estimated that idiotic law would increase the deficit by $833 Billion over ten years.

And things have only continued to head downhill since that day, picking up speed rather dramatically as they have gone. And thanks to Barry, we have now accumulated for ourselves a staggering $17 Trillion worth of debt that our kids and grand kids will be forced to repay. And our credit rating was downgraded for the first time in our history. Barry has been purposely set about spending money faster than we could ever hope to print it. And he has chosen to ignore completely the budgetary process as required by our Constitution, as we have, instead, gone from one continuing resolution to the next, each one spending more than the one before it.

HOW LOW CAN HE GO, AND DOES HE EVEN CARE?

Ok, so about this. How about, from this point on at least, we simply stop making any mention of how low Barry’s so-called approval rating is. Because, as I have said before, I very firmly believe that it really matters very little, if at all, to him. He’s not going anywhere, we’re stuck with this creep until 2016. And God help us, if Hitlery Clinton then assumes the reins of power, because what hope there might have been to get the country back in the right track, will have gone up in smoke. But, I suppose, that’s the topic for another rant on another day.

So once again much is being made about the fact that Barry’s approval numbers have once again hit what is yet another new record low, this time according to a new NBC/Wall Street Journal poll. Supposedly only 42 percent of Americans now approve of Barry's job performance, with that number, I’m quite sure, most likely, made up of black and the Sandra Flukes of the world. We’re told that that number is down another 5 points from early October. Fifty-one percent now disapprove of his performance, which is tied for his all-time high disapproval.

And, for what, apparently, was the first time in the poll's history, and I’m not sure how much he worries about this either, Barry's personal approval ratings were lower than his disapproval ratings. The poll showed that 41 percent approve of him on a personal level while 45 percent actually disapprove. Maybe all of his lying is taking a toll. "Personally and politically, the public's assessment is two thumbs down," Democratic pollster Peter D. Hart told NBC. Hart and Republican pollster Bill McInturff are the individuals who conducted the survey.

According to these fellas, there doesn’t appear to be any one issue that can be said to be responsible for the decline. They seem to be of the opinion, rather, that it’s a combination of things, such as the NSA spying scandal, questions over his "red line" comment on attacking Syria, the government shutdown, and problems with the Obamacare website rollout all played a roll. The poll did show that the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, was also slipping in approval and, of course, that the approval rating of the Republican Party and Congress as a whole came in lower.

Apparently a whopping thirty-seven percent now view the healthcare law as something that’s a good idea, with 47 percent opposing it. The previous poll showed 38 percent in favor and 43 against. Lately, the White House, as well as congressional Democrats, have all slipped into what can now very easily be described as being hyper-drive in their effort to tout the law's supposed growing popularity in spite of the program’s rather troubled, glitch-filled, rollout. In a separate question, 40 percent say they are now less confident about Obamacare after having learned more about it. Gee, now there’s a shocker!

But how much does any of this really matter to Barry? Look, when this political thug finally leaves office in 2016 what he will leave behind is country that has been pretty thoroughly decimated. And yet, personally, he and Mee-Shell, will essentially be set for life. I think it fair to say that America will never be the same after having been made to suffer through the presidency of Barry "Almighty". And I think these low approval numbers bother him no more than a cloudy day. He came into office with the mission to destroy this country, and he will be able to leave office confident in the knowledge that he was successful in doing just that!

OBAMACARE…THE LIES AND THE LYING LIARS TO TELL THEM…

Well it would appear that just about everyone who had anything to do with the so-called ‘passage’ of this debacle, Obamacare, was in on the big secret. They made sure to keep the whole "if you like your healthcare plan you can keep it" scam pretty close to the vest for as long as they could. Now come to find out, that just ain’t so. And I guess I’d be a little curious to know if all those people who were just so certain that those folks who have been referring to Barry as being a liar for no other reason than because he’s black, still think that way now. Because it’s now pretty obvious, he’s been lying.

And so it was then that even old gasbag Steny Hoyer finally had to come clean and concede to reporters that, yes, the scumbag Democrats knew all along that millions of people were not going to be able to keep their current health care plans under Obamacare and then expressed qualified contrition for Barry "Almighty’s" repeated lies to the contrary. "We knew that there would be some policies that would not qualify and therefore people would be required to get more extensive coverage," Hoyer said in response to a question from reporters. And such information was kept firmly under wraps.

When asked by another reporter to explain how the many statements made by Barry to the contrary weren’t to be considered as "misleading," old Gasbag said, "I don’t think the message was wrong. I think the message was accurate. It was not precise enough…[it] should have been caveated with – ‘assuming you have a policy that in fact does do what the bill is designed to do.’" Not "precise enough?" Ok, so how was the message NOT wrong. Or maybe a better question would be, why was it not considered an outright LIE? All we heard over and over again was how you could keep your plan!

And then Hoyer went on to note that people losing access to their current plans are mostly in the individual market, which is a small segment of the overall market. That small market is made up of roughly 14 Million folks! So I guess it just doesn’t matter to old Steny that these folks are getting screwed! He also argued that requiring those plans to follow new mandates and regulations was important for ensuring those plans included "adequate coverage so the public would not have to be on the hook for serious illnesses or other illnesses." So those folks are to get sacrificed for, what exactly?

And meanwhile it would seem that we have yet another rather despicable Democrat who continues to stubbornly refuse to admit, in any way, that people are, even now, actually losing the coverage that they like and want to keep. Now according to this douche bag, insurance companies aren't actually in the process of sending out cancellation letters, what they are, in fact doing, and you’re gonna love this one, is to ‘help’ people "transition" into Obamacare. This guy must think that we’re all as stupid as those folks who regularly vote for Democrats. But, we’re NOT!

You see, it’s according to some dim bulb Democrat by the name of, Sander Levin, "If [the companies] changed [the insurance plans] then they have to notify the people who have to have the opportunity to have another policy." And, in fact, according to this dope, Levin, the purpose of these "so-called cancellation notices" are to merely "help people transition to a new policy." Yes, and I’m sure that just how those receiving this "transition" assistance, view it. That this, this asshole, can make such a statement, makes it very plain just how little he, and his party, thinks of us.

Look, I can’t help but wonder just how much more of this crap the American people are going to be willing to swallow. This has got to be viewed as being the last straw! Being lied to, so blatantly and so often, is completely unacceptable. But what’s even worse is how these pathetic degenerates are still out there trying to justify their endless lies. Since day one of this thing, the Democrat Party as a whole, has completely misrepresented what this thing was, what it was meant to do and what, in the end, it would do. Why aren’t there now riots in the street over this?

And yet, the Democrats continue to maintain that this assault on the American people is somehow going to be a big vote getter for them come 2014. They even go so far as to claim that it will get them back in control of the House. Now if that in fact turns out to be the case, then my friends, America is truly dead. We might as well turn out the lights, because the party will most definitely be over. Because, to me, it would be insanity for ANYONE who has lost their healthcare coverage because of Obamacare, to think that voting for a Democrat, any Democrat, is, in any way, a good idea.

SEAN PENN, ALL THE BRAINS OF AN ICE CUBE…

IF ONLY THAT FINGER WAS LOADED
Ya know, I seem to have this continuing problem where I just can’t figure out how it is that a person who was able to do nothing more with their life than to become an actor, is still able to view themselves as being so much smarter than someone who was actually able to go out and actually make something of themselves. I mean let’s face, how much brainpower is actually required to be any kind of a professional entertainer? And since very few of these imbeciles were even able to successfully navigate all the way through a primary education, becoming an actor was, I suppose, the only option that was available to them.

Anyway, the only reason that I even bother to bring this up in the first place is because we recently had another one of these Hollywood morons with their over-inflated sense of importance, spouting off, as if what he had to say was actually worth listening to. Which it was not! In this case, it was the moron who has become the standard by which all other morons are measured, Sean Penn. Penn once again put one of typical displays of what it takes, these days, to be a know-nothing, America-hating, Hollywood celebrity. Penn’s right up there with that other little dirtbag, Matt ‘Douche Bag’ Damon. These guys are birds of a feather.

And in choosing to speak on a subject that I feel very confident that he most assuredly is very well versed in, Penn said, "There's a mental health problem in Congress." I thought it rather ironic that Penn, a longtime resident of that locale referred to as the land of the fruits, the nuts and the flakes, would bring up the same condition that he, as well as many others in his particular profession, also suffer from. And in making it quite plain just how warped he really is, Penn advocated that Barry could solve the whole problem "by committing them by executive order." At least that’s what this moron told CNN's ratings king, Piers Morgan on Monday night.

And when asked if he would have "people like Ted Cruz" committed, in what I’m not sure was an attempt at humor, sarcasm, or act of pure ignorance, Penn responded by saying, "He is my American brother. I won't -- I think we should take care of him, he is in, he's the trouble." Morgan then took things a step further, saying, "Well, actually have him committed." To which Penn said, "Yeah, I think it's a good idea." I would argue that there are far more folks in Hollywood, Penn included, that require setting up residence in a rubber room, than there are just about anywhere else on the planet, Congress included.

And then in what was a rambling sort of way, Penn identified what he called a "lack of education" as a "huge problem that we're dealing with in the country." Well that’s true, especially when it comes to uneducated boobs like himself. And in further demonstrating his ignorance, he said "But the thing you're talking about (tea party influence) and, and the way people's perception of political positions are, is a direct reaction to their lack of, of their education, which is a huge problem that we're dealing with in the country -- and between an uneducated people and the solipsism of people like Ted Cruz and their party."

And then he proceeded to spew even more of his idiotic drivel, saying, "It's a poisonous thing, and these things with what we talked about with, you know, this is why this period of time, this is one of the things that's so fascinating to me in Haiti. Here's this country with -- where we have it all, we have it all to make it great and we find ways from self-destructing and by, you know, saying nasty things about each other and being crazy and yet here's Haiti." Oddly enough, it’s jerks like himself, those big-government types, who are the ones who focus on creating and perpetuating new and improved methods of destructive behavior.

And Penn, I’m sure would disagree with the concept that it’s folks of his particular political persuasion, aka leftwing nutjobs, who have succeeded in making Haiti the perpetual cesspool of the Caribbean that it is. How much foreign aid money has been sent there that has only ended up being redirected to someone’s personal, offshore, bank account? But you see, for guys like Penn, that’s considered as being acceptable behavior. I mean, if you recall, old Sean, here, was a best buddy of that left thug, Hugo Chavez. You see in the upside down world of Penn, guys like Chavez have much more to offer their fellow man than do guys like Ted Cruz.

IF YOU LIKE YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE, YOU’LL BE ABLE TO KEEP IT…WELL, NOT EXACTLY…

Much like when Barry told us all that if he was elected many of us would not see our taxes go up, not by one dime, the same apparently now holds true when it comes to our being able to hold on to our health insurance, under Obamacare, if we like it. Because, as it turned out, our taxes did go up, and by more than a dime, and we’re also now finding out that more than 7 million of us will likely lose our healthcare coverage that we like, because of Obamacare.

Sources recently told NBC that 50 to 75 percent of people who buy health plans individually can now expect to receive a cancellation letter within the next year. And according to NBC, Barry "Almighty" knew that this was going to happen, even as he busily went about promising just the opposite, because of an estimate buried within the regulations from 2010 that "40 to 67 percent" of customers will lose their healthcare policies. What a guy!

And there’s a very good chance that this figure may go even higher because, as NBC reported, many other plans were not "grandfathered" in by the administration under the new healthcare law. And health plans ‘must’ contain basic benefits such as preventive care because of Obamacare. Policies that do not meet these new Barry mandated minimum standards will simply not be permitted starting next year unless they existed in their current form in 2010.

With these revelations now coming to light, Barry and his sleazy little team have finally been forced into acknowledging that, yes, some people will being seeing their health policies getting canceled as a result, but they claim that replacement coverage will contain richer benefits and more protections. And people with lower incomes will also qualify for tax credits under the new healthcare law in order to help make their new plans more affordable.

"There are going to be changes brought about by the Affordable Care Act to create minimum standards of coverage, minimum services that every insurance plan has to provide," White House Spokesmoron, Jay Carney said Monday. "So it's true that there are existing healthcare plans on the individual market that don't meet those minimum standards and therefore do not qualify for the Affordable Care Act." So Barry now dictates to you what your minimum standards can be.

The White House also noted that because of what it called ‘normal turnover’ in the insurance market, between 40 and 67 percent of customers would already not be able to keep their policies. It was also claimed that this revelation was really nothing new and that it had absolutely nothing to do with Obamacare. And, laughably, it was also claimed by the White House that that’s another problem that Obamacare will actually solve. Sure it will!

Republicans, and rightfully so, seized on it as evidence that Barry purposely misled Americans when he said, "if you like your health plan, you will be able to keep your health plan" in 2009. "One of the most important promises made by President Obama … was that Americans who were satisfied with their health plans could keep them," said Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) in a statement. "That promise has been broken." Just one on a long list of many!

Look, I think it should be fairly obvious that this outright seizure of our healthcare system by the Democrats has been built on nothing more than one lie after another lie, on top of yet another lie. I mean, seriously folks, not one thing that has been said about it has been, in any way, true. It will not lower costs, it will not provide greater choice, and folks will not be able to keep their current plan. This entire scam was about nothing more than control.

GEORGE SOROS GOES SHOPPING FOR POLITICIANS…

The tentacles of George Soros, that sinister megalomaniac on a mission to destroy America, are as many and they are far reaching. Soros seems to be of the opinion that his billions actually entitle him to influence the internal workings of any country he sees fit to. And it would seem that yet another example of that comes in the form of a shady little network of donors that pumped $30 million into Barry "Almighty's" re-election campaign and that now seems to be poised to spend another $20 million in the 2014 midterm elections for the sole purpose of defeating certain House members who oppose immigration reform.

A little something referred to as "The Latino Victory Project", a group that, apparently, has the backing of labor unions and groups associated with, the previously mentioned, billionaire nut job, George Soros, says it’s prepared to campaign against 10 lawmakers, whose districts include significant Latino populations, and who oppose overhauling laws that could offer a path toward citizenship for individuals who arrived in the country illegally. It has been claimed that up to $2 million will be spent in each targeted district, first with the aim of ‘persuading’ the lawmakers to back immigration reform; and if that doesn't work, the goal would switch to defeating them.

Cristobal Alex, a former program officer at the Ford Foundation, another rich source of cash for just about every leftist cause out there, has been appointed president of the Latino Victory Project. He said the group wanted to "build political power in the Latino community so that the faces of Latinos are reflected not just in every level of government but in the policies that drive the country forward." The Project joins an existing array of pro-immigrant groups, unions, religious leaders, law enforcement officials, and some in the business community that have been pushing, along with the Barry "Almighty" White House, for immigration reform.

These are the House Republicans who have now, apparently, had a target paintined on them by this specific Latino group as we head into the 2014 campaign season: Reps. Mike Coffman and Scott Tipton of Colorado; Jeff Denham, Gary Miller, David Valadao and Howard "Buck" McKeon of California; Daniel Webster of Florida; Joseph Heck of Nevada; Steve Pearce of New Mexico; and Randy Weber of Texas. There were an estimated 11.7 million undocumented immigrants in the United States as of March 2012, with 60 percent in six states: California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, New York, and Texas, according to a Pew Study.

So why is that someone like Soros seems to be so determined to force America to grant 11 million individuals who are in the country ILLEGALLY, amnesty? Well, it ain’t because he’s got a soft spot in his heart for Mexicans. The answer is really quite simple when you stop to consider the fact that most if not all of these 11 million people, upon receiving amnesty, would also be receiving at the same time, their Democrat Party voter registration card. The Democrat Party of today is really no longer an American political party. It is a party made up of those who hate America, those who are dead but are still able vote and those here illegally.

I guess the one question I have would be, since when is it some sort of an international human right for anyone who wants to, can simply come here and set up housekeeping in these United States? I mean I can’t really think of any other country where is seems to work that way. And yet we have these leftist goons, like this psychopath Soros, who insist upon inserting themselves into the political process for no other reason than because they have a few billion dollars laying around and are able to purchase for themselves a politician, or two, who are quite willing to do their bidding in exchange for nothing more than some campaign cash.

And it’s the American people who are the ones who end up getting screwed in this little process, and they need to realize that more and more of those folks that they elect are actually working against them and for guys like Soros. We are losing our country, it is being stolen from us right before our very eyes, with it essentially going to the highest bidders. These soulless scoundrels are determined to destroy our Constitutional Republic, and to replace it with what they think America should like. And their America is not one that many of us would want our children growing up in. So we need to be more careful in choosing those who we vote for.

SOME THOUGHTS WHEN CONSIDERING 2014 AND 2016…

I have heard from many in the state-controlled media, and until I want to puke, what a great governor Chris Christie is, and how if I, as a Republican, want to have any hope of beating Hitlery Clinton, who will most assuredly be the Democrat candidate, then Christie is going to have to be my guy. Now keep in mind here this is the very same state-controlled media who successfully sold everyone on John ‘The Maverick’ McCain and, to a lesser degree, Mitt Romney. So I’m hear to tell you that Christie is not the guy we need to have representing us and or values next time around, and he, by his own actions, has made that abundantly clear.

Besides his, apparent, new found support for gay marriage, according to recent data from the Tax Foundation, it would appear that ‘The Rotund One’ from New Jersey has much more in common with his fellow Democrat governors than those of his own party. You see, apparently, 7 of the 10 worst states in terms of business tax climate are run by Democrats while seven of the 10 best business tax climate states are headed by Republicans. And one those states resting quite comfortably in the bottom ten is none other than New Jersey, headed up by Republican Chris Christie. And this guy, the only who can beat Hitlery, has New Jersey sitting in 49th place.

It would appear that the ‘only’ guy who’s doing an even worse job, oddly enough is also a guy that we’re being told is also has political aspirations for 2016, none other than Democrat Andrew Cuomo. Mr. Cuomo, it would seem, has done such a magnificent job that he now has New York coming in dead last, in 50th place. That’s quite an accomplishment for a guy who wants to be president. Come on folks, wake up and smell the coffee! Does anyone really think that either one of these boobs is in any way capable of running the country? Especially after what is likely to be left of it by the time Barry "Almighty" gets finished with it? We gotta think about this.

So according to the Tax Foundation, here are the 10 states with the best business tax climate are:
1. Wyoming, Governor. Matt Mead (R)
2. South Dakota, Governor Dennis Daugaard (R)
3. Nevada, Governor Brian Sandoval (R)
4. Alaska, Governor Sean Parnell (R)
5. Florida, Governor Rick Scott (R)
6. Washington, Governor Jay Inslee (D)
7. Montana, Governor Steve Bullock (D)
8. New Hampshire, Governor Maggie Hassan (D)
9. Utah, Governor Gary Herbert (R)
10. Indiana, Governor Mike Pence (R)

And now here are the 10 states with the worst business tax climate:
41. Maryland, Governor Martin O’Malley (D)
42. Connecticut, Governor Dannel Malloy (D)
43. Wisconsin, Governor Scott Walker (R)
44. North Carolina, Governor Pat McCrory (R)
45. Vermont, Governor Peter Shumlin (D)
46. Rhode Island, Governor Lincoln Chafee (D)
47. Minnesota, Governor Mark Dayton (D)
48. California, Governor Jerry Brown (D)
49. New Jersey, Governor Chris Christie (R)
50. New York, Governor Andrew Cuomo (D)

A little backround here. In order to come up with the above standings, the Tax Foundation’s 2014 State Business Tax Climate Index calculated by "comparing the states on over 100 different variables in the five important areas of taxation (major business taxes, individual income taxes, sales taxes, unemployment insurance taxes, and property taxes) and then adding the results up to a final, overall ranking." "This approach rewards states on particularly strong aspects of their tax systems (or penalizing them on particularly weak aspects) while also measuring the general competitiveness of their overall tax systems," says the Tax Foundaiton.

"The result is a score that can be compared to other states’ scores." For the top ten ranked states, "the absence of a major tax is a dominant factor in vaulting many of these ten states to the top of the rankings. Property taxes and unemployment insurance taxes are levied in every state, but there are several states that do without one or more of the major taxes: the corporate tax, the individual income tax, or the sales tax," according to the study. But as we all know, there are very few, if any, taxes that Democrats, and apparently some Republicans, can bring themselves to go without. We need to keep such things in mind when choosing our next president.

Adversely, the bottom ten states suffer from "complex, non-neutral taxes with comparatively high rates," according to the study. Seven of the worst 10 states are run by Democrat governors. These states will be less likely to attract businesses and entrepreneurs because of their poor tax system. However, "[s]tates with the best tax systems will be the most competitive in attracting new business and most effective at generating economic and employment growth," the report states. Now I’m about as far away from being and economic genius as you can get, but can this not make sense to just about anyone. This is what you do to attract businesses!

Some economist, a fella by the name of Charles Tiebout, is said to have stated decades ago that "if citizens were faced with an array of communities that offered different types of levels for public goods and services at different costs or tax levels, then all citizens would choose the community that best satisfied their particular demands, revealing their preferences by "voting with their feet." This is clearly happening today, as many people have fled New York and California for far more tax-friendly business climates such as Texas and Florida. But even after having lost chunks of their populations, high taxing states stick to their high taxing policies.

So look, we Americans, Republicans and Democrats, must make the next presidential election more about our priorities and less about the priorities and political agendas of others. And our priority must be to create the type of government that we can, again, be proud of, and one that will ensure that our children are able to live in peace and are able prosper, limited only by their own initiative and drive to succeed. And we need to be realistic about which policies will enhance those things and which ones only serve to do harm, and which ones provide the best chances of improving our economic future, and which ones only stifle economic growth.

Look around you, you are surrounded by 50 individual, and in some cases very unique, miniature laboratories. And with even a cursory glance, it becomes very obvious, very quickly, which examples we would do well to emulate in Washington, and which ones we should avoid at all costs. Our country is sinking, my friends, and if I may be so bold, I think it fair to say that it is being ‘made’ to sink. And our opportunities to reverse course are dwindling at an accelerating rate. The election of 2014 will be our next chance to begin what will be a very long and painful turn back toward fiscal sanity, in 2016 we can turn further back in the right direction. Will we?

OK, SO HOW STUPID IS THIS?

Call me an insensitive gun nut if you want, but this just makes absolutely no sense, what-so-freakin-ever, to me. In this day and age when towns are increasingly finding themselves strapped for cash, what sense does it make to demolish a perfectly good school building only to have to replace it at a cost that will most likely be in the neighborhood of 10 times more expensive than was the original building. It all makes me a little curious if there might be another reason that’s behind the demolition. I mean why put your town through the inconvenience of having no school as well as having to come up with the necessary funds to replace a perfectly good school building?

So anyway, demolition of Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School has now officially, albeit rather quietly, begun, Newtown's highest elected official said 10 months after mass shootings. "Small scale demo activity has begun and will accelerate over the next days," First Selectwoman Patricia Llodra told television station WVIT, West Hartford, Conn. She added, "The process of demolition is incremental, staged precisely and executed carefully," she said. "There is no wrecking-ball action. It is rather a piece-by-piece, section-by-section removal." The work site will also be shielded from public view so as to prevent anyone from taking photos or videos.

I’m sure no one is in need of being reminded that it was this school which was the scene where 20 schoolchildren and six adult staff members were killed on Dec. 14. The shooting was the second deadliest mass shooting by a single person in U.S. history, after the 2007 Virginia Tech shootings, which left 32 people dead. The Sandy Hook shootings were then quickly exploited to the fullest by anti-gun Democrats, who were successful in their efforts to bring about stricter gun laws in Connecticut, New York and other nearby states. Barry "Almighty’ also did his best to use the tragedy to bring about stricter gun laws on the national level, but failed in his attempt.

Apparently all parts of the elementary school, as well as the playground, driveway and sidewalks, will be either pulverized or melted down so pieces of the tragedy can't be taken away as souvenirs or sold to bidders on eBay, Llodra said last week. The 28-member Sandy Hook School Task Force voted unanimously May 15 to demolish the school and build a new one on the same spot. Town voters voted overwhelmingly Oct. 5 to fund the project with a $49 million state grant. So I can only assume that Connecticut must be rolling in the dough to the point where they have that kind of money to blow. It’s a blue state, so taxes can always be raised to cover the cost.

We’re also told that the entrance to the new school, which is scheduled to open by December 2016, will be relocated so people won't have to walk in front of a firehouse where anguished parents waited hours before learning their children were dead, or so the Los Angeles Times has said. While most residents say they want the school removed, a parent whose son was a first-grader at Sandy Hook when the mass shooting erupted said he considered the demolition a final surrender to the 20-year-old shooter, whose name is rarely said out loud in Newtown. While I can’t how I would feel if I were to ever find myself is such a position, I don’t think I’d act like these people.

The bottom line here is that bad things are always going to happen to good people, it’s just a fact of life. Frankly I just don’t understand what’s to be gained from tearing down this school. Will doing so erase the memories of that terrible day? Is the act of tearing down this school a way of paying tribute to those who died? Is this something that they, themselves, would want? I just don’t get it. Like I said, it makes zero sense to me. Personally, a nice plaque, and perhaps a flag, in commemoration of those who died would be much more appropriate. Tearing down the school just seems like an unnecessary waste to me, and it only compounds the unnecessary waste that was the loss of life that occurred that day in December.

IF YOU VOTED FOR OBAMA, WELL THEN, YOU’RE JUST PLAIN STUPID…

As the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, was making its way through Congress back in 2009 and 2010, I’m sure we can all remember, and like it was only yesterday, hearing Barry "Almighty" as he rather famously promised, over and over and over, that if you liked your current healthplan you would be able to keep it. His exact words were, "Let me be exactly clear about what health care reform means to you," Barry said at one rally in July 2009. Going on to say, "First of all, if you’ve got health insurance, you like your doctors, you like your plan, you can keep your doctor, you can keep your plan. Nobody is talking about taking that away from you." Sure they weren’t.

And now after having fast-forwarded to the present, those who were perhaps just a little too quick, or a little too foolish, to have believed him, are now finding out the hard way that Barry's promises really weren’t worth shit. Because as it turns out, there are literally millions of Americans who, even though happy with the plan that they had, are now seeing, or will be seeing very shortly, their health insurance policies being canceled because they don't meet the requirements of the unaffordable, Affordable Care Act. And according to one health policy expert, Bob Laszewski, there will be roughly 16 million Americans who will eventually come to lose their current health plans because of Obamacare:

"The U.S. individual health insurance market currently totals about 19 million people. Because the Obama administration's regulations on grandfathering existing plans were so stringent about 85% of those, 16 million, are not grandfathered and must comply with Obamacare at their next renewal. The rules are very complex. For example, if you had an individual plan in March of 2010 when the law was passed and you only increased the deductible from $1,000 to $1,500 in the years since, your plan has lost its grandfather status and it will no longer be available to you when it would have renewed in 2014.

These 16 million people are now receiving letters from their carriers saying they are losing their current coverage and must re-enroll in order to avoid a break in coverage and comply with the new health law's benefit mandates––the vast majority by January 1. Most of these will be seeing some pretty big rate increases."

Apparently, Kaiser Health News called up a few insurers around the country and found that hundreds of thousands of Americans have already received cancellation notices. "[T]he cancellation notices, which began arriving in August, have shocked many consumers in light of President Barack Obama’s promise that people could keep their plans if they liked them," according to Kaiser Health News reporters Anna Gorman and Julie Appleby. Look, the warnings for this thing were as loud as they were numerous. And all the trickery that the Democrats had to use to get it through Congress should have been a huge red flag for anyone paying even the slightest amount of attention. And yet, here we are!

"Florida Blue, for example, is terminating about 300,000 policies, about 80 percent of its individual policies in the state. Kaiser Permanente in California has sent notices to 160,000 people – about half of its individual business in the state. Insurer Highmark in Pittsburgh is dropping about 20 percent of its individual market customers, while Independence Blue Cross, the major insurer in Philadelphia, is dropping about 45 percent," Kaiser reports. "Blue Shield of California sent roughly 119,000 cancellation notices out in mid-September, about 60 percent of its individual business. About two-thirds of those policyholders will see rate increases in their new policies, said spokesman Steve Shivinsky."

And I am quite sure you will also remember how it was that Barry "Almighty" and every other top Democrat, was out in front promising just how much costs would be going down for everyone. In fact those promises are still being made despite the fact that people are now getting socked with not only higher premiums but higher deductibles to boot. Nothing that we have been told about this thing has in anyway been true, and the lies just keep on coming. And yet, when our side tries to do something about it, they’re the ones who folks are said to be the most mad at. There should be NOTHING that we are not willing to do to rid ourselves of this blatant attempt by those in government to seize control of our healthcare. N-O-T-H-I-N-G!!!!

BEING AMERICAN…

As amazing as this may sound, or maybe not in this era of Barry "Almighty", it was in the fourth quarter of 2011 that 49.2 percent of Americans received benefits from one or more government programs. And that is according to data released Tuesday by the Census Bureau. In total, the Census Bureau estimated that 151,014,000 Americans, out of a population that was then estimated to be 306,804,000, received benefits from one or more government programs during the last three months of 2011. Those 151,014,000 individuals form what has come to be known as our parasite class and now equal 49.2 percent of our population. So nearly one half of our population has apparently become quite content to simply live off the other half. So today being an American would seem to mean something quite different that it did when I was growing up. And I’m also sure that most, if not all, of those folks habitually vote for Democrats.

This number included 82,457,000 people, or 26.9 percent of the population, who lived in households in which one or more people received Medicaid benefits. Also in among those 151,014,000 folks were those who received benefits from one or more government programs during that period: 49,901,000 who collected Social Security; 49,073,000 who got food stamps; 46,440,000 on Medicare; 23,228,000 in the Women, Infants and Children program, 20,223,000 getting Supplemental Security Income;13,433,000 who lived in public or subsidized rental housing; 5,098,000 who got unemployment; 3,178,000 who got veterans' benefits; and 364,000 who got railroad retirement benefits. And when Obamacare is fully implemented on Jan. 1, 2014, if that in fact does happen, Americans earning up to 400 percent of the poverty level will also qualify for a federal subsidy to buy health insurance.

As I have said on many previous occasions, it is with each passing day that I become more and more disappointed in many of my fellow Americans. Not that it bothers them in any way, of that I’m quite sure. As for myself, I remain proud of my country and I’m proud to be an American. But these days I feel that people like me are sort of a dying breed. To be willing to mooch off of others just isn’t how I was raised. But these days more and more people work to game a system, that really isn’t all that hard to game, for no other reason than to see just how much they possibly get, for as little required from them in return. Far too many people seem to view living in this country not because they love it, but because of how much they can get for themselves, from it. And I find that all just so disappointing. Just stop and think, for a minute, what our country would look like if that 49.2 percent of our population actually loved their country?

STENY HOYER, AGAIN, STARS IN…”THE GASBAG CHRONICLES”…

Reprising in starring role in ‘The Gasbag Chronicles" we once again have none other than Steny Hoyer, everyone’s favorite gasbag, as well as being a Democrat from the People’s Republic of Maryland. It was during Hoyer’s most recent appearance that he was heard to suggest that the best possible way for Congress to chip in and help fix the problem-plagued Obamacare website would be to, of course, give the administration "a little money."

The location of this most recent episode of The Gasbag Chronicles just happened to coincide with one of the many Capitol Hill press conferences that are always taking place. It was during the one was on Tuesday that a reporter said "the website is not working," and then asked Steny, "Are you confident, though, the White House is taking the steps necessary? Is there anything you in Congress can do to help the White House take the steps?"

And, of course, the very first thing out of old Steny’s mouth, without even pausing to think about it, was, "Give them a little money. We've been pretty much focused in the House of Representatives on undermining the implementation and the Affordable Care Act in every which way they [Republicans] possibly could. Now, I don’t think that’s the reason, however. I don’t know that. If it is, it is. But I don’t know that to be the case."

You see, according to Democrats, money fixes everything, more money fixes it better. Of course, that’s only if it’s someone else’s money and never actually their own. But the persistent little reporter, in reference to the debacle of a website, then asked, "You don’t blame lack of money for this?" Hoyer said, "I don’t know. It’s not that I don’t blame, it’s – if I know that, I’ll blame it. I don’t know it at this point in time, Dave, so I’m not going to attribute it to that."

And when asked if that moron Sebelius should be fired over the website disaster or if "heads have to roll," Steny said, "Well, I certainly believe it is a bad performance. I don’t know about heads rolling. I do know that we have to get this right. Obviously, this was not done the way it should have been done, period, Dave, and I’m sure that if I were a Republican, I would yell and scream about it as well. They don’t like Obamacare." Well gee, I can’t imagine why!

I think that it has already become pretty much common knowledge that the Obamacare website, HealthCare.gov, has been riddled with what have been termed as being "glitches" since it first came online. And this despite the fact that it cost roughly $400 Million just to build. Because, apparently, that $400 Million just so happens not to "include CMS salaries and other administrative costs" associated with the Obamacare exchanges.

"In other words, the actual cost for the development and implementation of the total Obamacare exchange system is far higher," said Andrew Couts at Digital Trends. "We, the taxpayers, have seemed to have forked up more than $500 million of the federal purse to build the digital equivalent of a rock," said Couts. Now while do have every right to be pissed off about such a waste of money, should we really be all that surprised?

And so, this wonderful little exercise in socializing American medicine not so slowly proves itself to be even more of a train wreck as it proceeds to roll down the tracks into operation. And as people are now finding out it is nothing like it what was, or continues to be, promised to be. Costs are skyrocketing, and millions will still be left without insurance. But at least it’s folks like Steny who will be in charge of who is able to get what. Isn’t that great?

JON LEIBOWITZ…A LEFT WING KOOK, IS STILL A LEFT WING KOOK…

Let me start by making it crystal clear here, that I have never been, nor will I ever be, a fan of Jon Leibowitz, host of the idiotic attempt at political satire, "The Daily Show". Also, I’m not about to join the ranks of those conservatives who now claim him as being some sort of new found hero, albeit a rather unlikely one, because of his continued zings of Barry "Almighty", that proverbial dingbat, Kathleen Sebelius, and the glitch-riddled HealthCare.gov rollout this week on his silly little satirical news show. And I’m not about to change my opinion because of one instance where he happens to make some sense.

Now I sure by now just about everyone must now be aware of the fact that the rather rocky introduction of Barry’s website garnered some pretty blunt criticism from Leibowitz, who again on Monday continued to bash the website where consumers can go to sign up for Obamacare. So far, Leibowits has compared Barry to "Gil," the unfortunate salesman from "The Simpsons," freaked out about the site's broken calculator, and has gone toe-to-toe with that moron, Sebelius. And even though he made plenty of very valid points, that doesn’t make him any less of the left wing loon that we all know him to be. Does it? Really?

Now there have been more than a few conservative news outlets, including the likes of The Blaze and Fox Nation, who have made it a point to mention Leibowitz's silly little segments. Even the Republican political action committee, America Rising, took the opportunity to highlight his comments as well, on Twitter this past week. And it was also last week during an interview with MSNBC's resident loon, Andrea Mitchell that Republican Rep. Sean Duffy of Wisconsin also cited Leibowitz, saying, "One issue we have, the media won't ask the question about why are you’re treating families differently than big business."

And it was Duffy went on to say, "You need Jon Stewart on Comedy Central to ask Secretary Sebelius, 'Hey, why won't you treat these two equally?' and she won't answer it. That's how pathetic news reporting has come when they won't ask tough questions to the administration." And he has a point, most of those in the state-controlled media, Mitchell very much included, are working as hard as they possibly can to keep this thing from looking like the debacle that most everyone else sees it as being. They’ve now even gone so far as blaming it all on the Republicans and the partial government shut down.

Barry "Almighty" did address the problems with HealthCare.gov Monday during a speech there in the White House Rose Garden. And in so doing, he essentially did nothing more than to continue with the very same pattern of lies that we have continued to heard about this thing ever since it was first being discussed back on 2010. Barry said, "The point is the essence of the law, the health insurance that's available to people, is working just fine. In some cases, actually, it's exceeding expectations. The prices are lower than we expected. The choice is greater than we expected." Prices lower than expected? Exceeding expectations? What pure BULLSHIT!

Barry continued to lay it on as only he can by saying , "But the problem has been that the website that's supposed to make it easy to apply for and purchase the insurance is not working the way it should for everybody... Precisely because the product is good, I want the cash registers to work, I want the checkout lines to be smooth, so I want people to be able to get this great product. And there's no excuse for the problems. And these problems are getting fixed." That he could say anything of this with a straight face, is a testament to just how good of a liar he really is. I suppose should be seen as being an accomplishment in itself.

The bottom line here is that this should not have come as a surprise to anyone who has ever spent any amount of time in a Post Office or a DMV. This is how government operates. And all of Leibowitz’s jokes notwithstanding, there was never really any reason to expect anything other than what we got from this mess. And if you actually thought it was all going to work just as Barry and the Democrats sold it, well then, I hate to be the one to break it to you, but you’re beyond being stupid. You are most likely a brain-dead liberal and as such, somebody who was only too happy to vote for Barry. And this is what you got for your doing so!

BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WISH FOR…

So I’m kinda curious about something. Let’s just say, just for the sake of argument, that all the doom and gloom about how the Republicans are going to get massacred in next November’s election are correct. And that the American voters, in their infinite wisdom, will in fact hand over to the Democrats not only control of the House, but will also allow them to maintain, or to even increase, their numbers in the Senate. What then? I mean, does that really sound like a good idea? Would that really be in the best interest of the American people?

And the only reason that I ask is because all we have to do is to look back at the first two years of Barry’s presidency to see that, under the same circumstances, that period of time really wasn’t a very productive time in American politics. Unless, of course, you happened to be a crony of the president or of the congressional Democrats. Because what we got during that time, if you remember correctly, was a bogus trillion dollar ‘stimulus’ bill, the even more bogus ‘Affordable Healthcare Act’ and the just as bogus Dodd-Frank finance bill.

Now there’s an old saying that says even a crazy person will run out of a burning building, and using that as my analogy of choice might it be safe to assume that at some point, should voters actually vote en masse for Democrats, that they would eventually come to recognize the disastrous error of their ways? Would they ever come to fully recognize what it was that they had so freely given away? And upon doing so, would they then go in search of those very same ones whom they are now said to be so dissatisfied with?

The bottom line here is that many Republicans, and I would a argue that it’s actually most of them, today are trying to do nothing more than to protect the future of generations yet to be born, and yet are always being cast as the villains. So the question that I have here, is that once the Republicans have been abandoned, and for no other reason than for trying to save the country from what the Democrats are attempting to inflict upon it, will there be any inclination, on their part to, ever again enter the fight?

So the coming election may prove to be Americans last chance to avert what will very likely be the sentencing of their children to a lifetime of servitude and dependency on a very unforgiving government. It will not be a happy life, life under despotism never is, and this is what we shall have here in America for the first time in our history. So as another old saying goes, we all need to be very careful what it is that we wish for, because we just may get it, and once we have it, it will prove to be very difficult, if not impossible to get rid of.

UNEMPLOYMENT NUMBERS, A COMPLETE WORK OF FICTION…

As amazing as this may sound to you, the number of Americans who are 16 years or older and who have now decided that they no longer wish to participate in the nation's labor force climbed to the unbelievable number of 90,609,000 in September. And that my friends, as if you haven’t already figured it out, is what called a record. From July to August the number of Americans not participating in the labor force climbed from 89,957,000 to 90,473,000, pushing past 90,000,000 for the first time, with a one month increase of 516,000. In September, it climbed again to 90,609,000, with an increase of 136,000 during the month.

Now just to kind of put this into perspective for everybody, as well as to make it quite plain what the effect is that Barry has had on all of this, in January 2009, when he first took office, there were 80,507,000 Americans not in the labor force. Thus, the number of Americans not in the labor force has now increased by a staggering 10,102,000 just during Barry's presidency. The labor force participation rate, which is the percentage of the non-institutionalized population 16 years or older who either have a job or actively sought one in the last four weeks, was 63.2 percent in September. That remained unchanged from August.

When Barry "Almighty" took office in January 2009, the labor force participation rate stood at 65.7 percent. The percentage of the civilian non-institutionalized population over 16 that was employed also remained constant from August to September at 58.6 percent. The overall national unemployment rate, which, again, is the percentage of people participating in the labor force who actively sought a job and did not find one in September--was 7.2 percent. That was a slight drop from the 7.3 percent unemployment rate in August. When Barry took office in 2009, the unemployment rate was 7.8 percent.

But still, as had been mentioned before, in order for us to actually believe Barry’s continuing claims that we somehow have an unemployment rate of 7.2 percent, we must ignore completely the fact that we, today, have over 10 Million fewer people in the nation’s workforce. And as I have tried to point out before, if the labor force we have today, in October 2013, consisted of the same number of workers that it did when Barry first took office back in 2009, our unemployment rate would be up around 17 percent. That is what’s real. This 7.2 number is nothing more but pure fiction arrived at by typical Barry trickery, and nothing more.

IT’S OBAMA’S WAR ON WOMEN…

Well according to data released just today by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), it would seem that American women participated in the nation’s labor force, in September, at a rate that matched the lowest level in 24 years. You see, from August to September, the number of women holding jobs actually declined by 154,000. But because the number of women participating in the labor force also declined in September, the drop in the number of women who were actually employed did not cause an increase in the unemployment rate for women.

In fact, even though 154,000 fewer women worked in August than worked in September, the unemployment rate for women actually dropped from 6.8 to 6.7 percent. As calculated by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, a person participates in the labor force if they are 16 or older, not institutionalized, and either have a job or have actively sought a job in the last four weeks. The labor force participation rate is the percentage of people over 16 in the non-institutionalized population who either have a job or actively sought one in the last four weeks.

Now in September, and again this would be according to the BLS, the labor force participation rate for women stood at 57.1 percent, which was down from the 57.3 percent it was in August and was down further from the 57.4 percent that it was in July. The female labor force participation rate had also dropped to 57.1 percent this March. Prior to this past March and then again in September the last time the female labor force participation rate dropped as low as 57.1 percent was back in February 1989, or for you liberals, 24 years ago.

The BLS has supposedly been tracking the participation of women in the U.S. labor force going all the way back to 1948. An it was in January 1948 that 32.0 percent of the non-institutionalized female U.S. population over the age of 16 participated in the labor force. That percentage generally climbed over five decades, reaching its peak in April 2000 when it hit 60.3 percent. However, since that point in time the labor force participation rate among women has been pretty much on a steady decline.

In August of this year, the female civilian labor force stood at 72,973,000, in September that number dropped to 72,705,000. Similarly, the number of women working in America dropped from 68,005,000 in August to 67,851,000 in September. However, because the decline in the number females in the civilian labor force was greater than the decline the number of females actually holding jobs, the unemployment rate for women actually dropped from 6.8 percent in August to 6.7 percent in September. Are you with me?

Hence we can pretty plainly see how easily the numbers can be manipulated. And its this same scam that’s being executed whenever we hear about how the overall unemployment number is on the decline. If our labor force consisted of the same number of workers that it did when Barry first took office back in 2009, our unemployment rate would up around 17 percent. But because roughly 10 million individuals have now left the workforce, and over that same period of time, Barry gets to claim credit for an unemployment rate of 7.2 percent. What a deal!

Just one final thought here. At the end of the day I can only assume that all of those women who continue to harp about how it’s the Republicans who are at war with women, as they very proudly vote for Democrats, don’t really mind all that much if they can’t find a job, at least as long as they are able to obtain for themselves a steady supply of free birth control. I mean, after all, a girl has got to have some way to while away her days, and apparently for these women, at least, there’s no better way to do just that than to spend all of that time on their back.

ANOTHER FINE MESS WE’VE GOTTEN OURSELVES INTO…

So I’m kinda curious about something. What I’m curious about is what all those morons who voted to re-elect the man who could, quite possibly, go down in history as being the worst president this country has ever had, were thinking at that precise moment they chose to vote for him. I mean, his record certainly wasn’t one that, you would think, could possibly instill any level of confidence that he actually knew what he was doing. And the country was obviously much worse off than it was when he first took office. And today, it’s already in even worse shape than it was when he was elected for the second time. So what gives?

And now, what’s likely to be a great many of the very same people who thought that they were being just-oh-so-clever in their voting for Barry, even though that little voice in their head had to have been telling them not to do it, now have the nerve to whine about what they, themselves, have brought about. Because, apparently, the number of Americans who now say that they are actually optimistic about the U.S. economy has dropped to the lowest level in over a year, or so yet another new poll would seem to be telling us. I don’t know, personally, I’m getting a little tired of polls, but since others aren’t, I thought I’d comment.

And so, according a to poll conducted by the Communist News Network (CNN) and ORC International, another left-of-center outfit, which was conducted October 18-20, pessimism about America's future economic health seems to be on the increase. It shouldn’t take a genius to recognize the fact that what Barry is so desperate to do here in America is to convince us just how bad capitalism is, or in Barry-speak how unfair, and how great socialism is. This even though it has been proven, time and again, that there is no better path to achieving success than the capitalist system, and no faster path to abject misery, for all, than socialism.

But I digress, back to this poll. So based on this recent poll I guess we can now ‘safely’ assume that at least fifty-nine percent of Americans are none to confident that our economy will be any better a year from now, in fact they think it’s liable to be worse. And, apparently, 40 percent of Americans, again based on this poll, feel pretty darn confident that the economy will be in good shape this time next year. That was the lowest level of optimism expressed by the public in two years. It also marked a 10 percent drop in optimism about the U.S. economy since June, when 50 percent actually expressed a brighter outlook about the future.

Meanwhile, 71 percent of the 841 adults who were surveyed here said current economic conditions remain poor compared to just 29 percent who said the current conditions are good. Now what do you suppose the racial makeup might be of that 29 percent? Hey, just asking. But look, let’s be honest here, anyone who can look at the current state of our economy, and what’s being done to only make matters worse, and can still say that the current economic condition is good, is either a complete moron, is, for whatever reason, choosing to simply lie through their teeth, or is, in all likelihood, black. Because that’s where we are now.

JOHN CONYERS, MORON-AT-LARGE…

You know, just when I think I’ve heard every nutty thing I could possibly hear come from a scumbag Democrat, along comes a moron like John Conyers who proves me wrong. This imbecilic Democrat from Michigan, recently referred to Obamacare as being a "very small and modest bill." This despite the fact that this pathetic old boob has said on a previous occasion, that he failed to see the point in reading it "if it's a thousand pages" without having plenty of lawyers on hand to assist. Now there’s some real liberal logic for ya.

Anyway, during an Oct. 17 appearance on "Democracy Now!" Conyers took it upon himself to criticize those lawmakers who had seen fit to partially shut down the government in the fight against Obamacare, expressing concern about what might happen when a single-payer system is proposed. "It's just unimaginable the actions they would turn to, to get their way on a very small and modest bill – Obamacare. We’re talking about universal health care for everybody – single payer, that’s what the new direction is," Conyers said.

Funny thing though, "small and modest" were not the adjectives used by Conyers to describe Obamacare on July 24, 2009. That day, Conyers told the audience at the National Press Club there was little good in even reading a bill "if it’s a thousand pages." It was then that this moron was heard to say, "I love these members, they get up and say, ‘Read the bill,’"Conyers said. "What good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you read the bill?"

It has been previously reported, on numerous occasions and by any number of news outlets that the bureaucracies within Barry’s Administration have thus far published approximately 11,588,500 words of final Obamacare regulations. There are 381,517 words in the Affordable Care Act alone. Conyers must think we’re all pretty stupid if he thinks we’re going to buy his attempt to portray this debacle as s very small and modest bill. Which I guess, coming from a Democrat, shouldn’t really be all that surprising.

OBAMACARE…EVERYBODY WAS WARNED…

No, please, say it isn’t so. Barry, and the Democrats, couldn’t have been lying all those many months when they were telling us just how great Obamacare was going to be. Or while they were telling how much money it was going save us or how many more millions of people it was going to allow to obtain health insurance. They just couldn’t have been lying, could they? Well, folks, the longer this debacle goes on, the more we’re all going to be finding out that it just ain’t cracked up to what we were all told that it was going to be. In short, yes, we were lied to! We were sold a bill of goods.

Even with the federal tax breaks and many subsidies that were promised under Obamacare, many consumers will have the unpleasant experience of finding that their out-of-pocket expenses will likely be higher, much higher, than what they have been lead to expect. And that little bit of bad news comes to us by way of an analysis of the healthcare law's problems. Consumers can benefit from two different subsidies, writes Forbes contributor and physician Scott Gottlieb, who, it just so happens, also serves as a Republican appointee on a federal health policy committee.

Premium tax credits, based on a family’s income, are designed to offset the overall costs of health insurance plans, while cost-sharing subsidies help pay with out-of-pocket expenses and help to lower costs when catastrophic limits kick in. But so far, the many, so-called, technical glitches on the website have caused miscalculations of cost estimates for uninsured individuals and families trying to sign up, leading to mass confusion and fears that the costs may end up not being as affordable as promised, Gottlieb noted. What we’re now seeing is just the tip of the Obamacare iceberg.

Part of the problem, Gottlieb wrote, stems from the fact that the Healthcare.gov website cannot communicate correctly with other federal and state agencies in order to share the data needed to help calculate costs. Data sharing with other agencies has proven too much for this wonderfully designed website to handle, leading to all sorts of errors in cost calculations on enrollment applications that have gone through. In many cases, the system simply crashed on some applicants as they tried to calculate costs. Who is surprised by any of this?

Gottlieb also notes that the subsidy to cover out-of-pocket costs are exempt from sequester cuts and could reduce the amount of money available to help offset co-pays or other medical costs not covered. For many, that could mean that a subsidy they were hoping to use to pay a medical bill may not be there when the time comes. Barry’s team calculates that subsidies over the next 10 years could cost roughly $149 Billion. But if those subsidies are in fact cut, under the law, insurance plans could be forced to absorb the shortfalls. Not a good idea, said Gottlieb.

Not a good idea because of the fact that many insurance companies have already been burned, some rather badly, by the badly bungled rollout of the federal healthcare program. "Given the failed launch of Obamacare, many insurers will be looking at far lower enrollment numbers, and losses on their new exchange health plans," said Gottlieb. If that happens, he added, many health plans will likely be pulled from the marketplace, and Obamacare could fail fast unless Barry sees fit to do some lobbying of Congress in order to stop sequester cuts from hitting cost-sharing subsidies.

Now the bottom line here is that there is absolutely no one who can claim that they weren’t warned about just how bad this thing was likely to get. And we’re now seeing that those warnings, as dire as they were, didn’t even begin to paint an accurate picture of just how bad it actually is. And it would appear that many folks chose to either ignore completely the warnings that were being sounded, or simply chose not to believe them, choosing, instead, to trust that the Democrats, Barry included, were telling the truth. Which, of course, brings us to where we are today.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE PARTY, JOHN BOEHNER SHOULD RESIGN…

Somehow when we, the American people, decided to take it upon ourselves to hand control of the House over to the Republicans, thus allowing allow John Boehner to become Speaker of the House on Jan. 5, 2011, I don’t think what we had in mind at the time was to have the debt of the federal government explode by $3 Trillion, or to be exact, $3,064,063,380,067.72. That, my friends, is more than the total federal debt accumulated in the first 200 years of the U.S. Congress, during the terms of the first 48 speakers of the House. So, in that regard, I’d say that old John has really outdone himself. Wouldn’t you?

That grand total breaks down to nearly $27,000, or $26,722, for each of the 114,663,000 households that the Census Bureau now estimates are in these United States. So what could have been purchased with that $27,000 in additional debt that each and every household, though no fault of their own, has now accumulated under Speaker Boehner. Well, that $26,722 would be more than enough to buy every household in America a minivan, considering that the manufacturers’ suggested retail price for a Toyota Sienna, according to autos.aol.com, is $26,585. (Some other models of minivans are significantly less expensive than that.)

Or, if minivan is not to your liking, or you happen to be more of a truck guy, that same amount also would have been enough to buy every household in America a pickup truck, considering that, according to autos.aol.com, a Ford F-150 carries a manufacturers’ suggested retail price of $24,070. The $26,722 the federal government has borrowed in the name of every single household in America since Boehner became House speaker would have been also enough to pay for three years of in-state tuition at your typical state college (minus room and board), which the College Board says now costs $8,655 per year (or $25,965 for three years).

But, instead of getting a shiny new minivan or a new pickup truck or getting three years of tuition at a state college, what exactly have Americans gotten in return for the $3,064,063,380,067.72 in new debt that the federal government has now accumulated since Boehner became Speaker? Well, what they actually got was an even bigger federal total debt that their children and even their grandchildren will be required to pay interest on, whether those children and grandchildren ever own a minivan, or a pickup truck, or even get the opportunity to attend college. All thanks to John Boehner

Based on what turned out to be quite a number of empty promises, the Republicans were provided with a pretty significant majority in the House of Representatives in the November 2010 elections. And on Jan. 5, 2011, that new Republican majority chose to elect Boehner as speaker. And at the close of business that day, the federal government's debt stood at $14,011,526,727,895.85. On Oct. 17, 2013, the most recent day reported by the Treasury, the federal debt was $17,075,590,107,963.57. That means that since Boehner became speaker, the federal debt has increased $3,064,063,380,067.72.

The Constitution of the United States, which seems to be getting pretty much ignored in this age of Barry, gives Congress the power to authorize spending and borrowing by the federal government. Article 1, Section 9, Clause 7 says: "No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law." Article 1, Section 8, Clause 2 says: "Congress shall have power ... To borrow Money on the credit of the United States." So unless the House, which Boehner leads, votes to give the Executive the authority to spend and borrow money, the Executive cannot spend and borrow. Which should be the end of the story.

Thus, all spending and borrowing by the federal government are the de facto responsibility of the House of Representatives that John Boehner leads. On March 1, 2011, the Republican-controlled House passed the first continuing resolution spending deal that Boehner ‘negotiated’ with Barry "Almighty". The $3,064,063,380,067.72 in new federal debt accumulated in less than three years under Speaker Boehner is more than the total federal debt accumulated from Rep. Frederick Muhlenberg of Pennsylvania, elected speaker on April 1, 1789, to Rep. Jim Wright of Texas, who resigned as speaker on June 6, 1989.

So what are we, the American people, willing to do about it? And I would recommend that we decide to tread carefully here, my friends, there’s no need to go off halfcocked or to bite our nose just to spite our face. But it has now become very obvious that something of a more drastic nature does need to be done. Especially now with the potential for ‘comprehensive’ immigration reform looming just over the horizon, that need for some sort of action has become all the more urgent. A plan of action needs to be devised, a plan, I dare say, that must not include any effort to encourage the forming of a third party. That would be self-defeating.

Instead, I think we can start by simply ignoring the many voices of those who comprise that crowd described as being the ‘Republican Establishment." Also we need to be far more discriminating when it comes to deciding whom we are willing to donate our hard-earned money to. On a more personal note, I stopped giving any money to the RNC, the NRCC and the NRSC sometime ago, because they simply insist upon choosing the wrong candidates to endorse. And let’s not forget that while 2014 doesn’t sound all that far off, it’s more than enough time for those presently in charge to do some pretty significant damage.

So there is literally no time to waste. I think that with this most recent capitulation by the Republicans, Barry may now sense weakness on the part of Boehner. And in sensing such weakness, I’m sure Barry is also now of the opinion that there may be no time like the present to start pushing for immigration reform that would be prove to be the most advantageous for the Democrats. Frankly, I find myself agreeing with Barry, which is a little scary, in that I just don’t see Boehner as possessing the necessary spine to prevent such reform from becoming a reality. And if he is unable to do, then he must be replaced by someone who can.

REPUBLICANS SURRENDER AND THE DEBT CONTINUES TO GROW…

I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank those Republicans, starting with Mitch McConnell and John Boehner, who recently felt compelled to once again screw the country by deciding to bend to the will of ‘Dingy Harry’ Reid and our ‘Dear Beloved Leader,’ Barack Hussein Obama. My daughter very much appreciates being presented with an opportunity to take on even more debt just so the Democrats can then, in turn, continue to provide to their parasitic constituents the near endless stream of ‘benefits’ that they receive in return for voting for those same Democrats.

The US Treasury wasted very little time as it quickly set to work feeding the country's appetite for borrowing after the 11th hour cave by gutless Republicans lifted the debt ceiling, an act that was claimed to have avoided, that which was never in any serious danger of occurring, the much talked about default. Treasury figures show the government went to the markets for an additional $300 Million almost as soon as the $16.7 trillion cap was removed with the signature of Barry "Almighty" early Thursday morning.

By the end of Thursday, the country's debt had already risen to a staggering $17.03 Trillion. Thanks Mitch, glad you got your $2 Billion piece of the pie! Anyway, at least part of the rise came with the resumption of the sale of state and local government series securities, which were suspended on May 17 after the $16.7 Trillion ceiling was set and the Treasury needed to juggle operations to remain beneath it for as long as possible. The US needs to borrow increasingly more to bridge a monthly deficit averaging an unbelievable $60 Billion.

There was much talk about the refusal by congressional Republicans to raise the ceiling without first gaining some political concessions from their Democratic rivals and the White House. But while they started strong, they faded pretty fast, until finally raising the white flag. It seems that talk of the Treasury being forced into the position of being cash short and defaulting on its obligations, including the debt, was just too much for them. Even though the government takes in roughly $230 Billion every single month, which is more than enough to keep us from default.

But we will once again be going through pretty much the same kind of thing next February 7. And as a conservative Republican I won’t be getting my hopes up as far as there being an outcome different to what I saw this time around. Oh, our side will undoubted start out by talking pretty tough, by it will all be for naught. Because it will end the same way that it always does, with sorry-assed excuses from our supposed leaders. I just wish that once, just once, they could find it within themselves to do what’s best for the country!

CLIMATE CHANGE…IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED, SIMPLY CHANGE THE RULES…

Now suppose you were one of those big supporters of climate change. Now also suppose how you would feel when faced with the fact that we have nothing in the way of a significant hurricane, really, since Sandy, and we’re also now at a 60 year low for tornado activity. All this despite the fact that there has been no major reduction in carbon dioxide levels being released into the atmosphere. Such evidence does very little to bolster your never-ending claims that man is the cause for what now would appear to be nonexistent climate change. So, if the way that we currently come up predictions regarding man’s supposed impact on the climate, what better way to solve that problem then to simply alter how it is that those predictions are manufactured?

So it would now appear that something like that may now actually be in the works. And in what would really be nothing more than a pure waste of what are increasingly scarce resources, the National Science Foundation (NSF), believe it or not, an United States government agency, together with the Department of Agriculture have now come up with a plan to waste, whoops I mean spend, upwards of $18 Million over the course of the next five years to develop, wait for it, wait for it, what it refers to as a much more "reliable" method to manufacture climate change predictions for the next few decades. But I am curious about something, I’m wondering just whose definition of "reliable" will be used? Perhaps, Al Gore’s?

Anyway, the "funding opportunity enables interagency cooperation on one of the most pressing problems of the millennium: climate change and how it is likely to affect our world," according to NSF’s official request for bids. So, since when is this whole bogus climate change nonsense a pressing problem? What it is, is a nonexistent problem, hence this would be a blatant waste of $18 Million. "This solicitation is intended to support development of reliable regional and decadal climate predictions that take into account the influences of living systems and are essential for projecting how living systems might adapt to climate change and its consequences for their physical environment," or so the program solicitation explains.

Current methods of predicting future climate change have been proven to be wildly inaccurate, but I would argue that that has been more by design, than anything else. There never really has been any rhyme or reason to the methodology used, because that makes it all the easier to manipulate the data generated. And what has recently sent those disciples of manmade climate change into an absolute tizzy, is the fact that none of the 73 computer models used by that group of propagandists, known as the United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), predicted that there would be no statistically significant global warming for the past 17 years as determined by actual temperature records stored in five different databases worldwide.

And despite the near endless claims that climate change caused by global warming is what continues to be behind all manner of "extreme weather," a new study by the SI Organization, Inc., a systems engineering firm, ranks 2013 as "one of the least extreme U.S. weather years ever," noting that "there has been no major hurricane in either the Atlantic or eastern Pacific, which only occurred one other year in recorded history – 1968." SI also points out, "Whether you’re talking about tornadoes, wildfires, extreme heat or hurricanes, the good news is that weather-related disasters in the US are all way down this year compared to recent years and, in some cases, down to historically low levels."

But when Eric C. Itsweire, program director at NSF’s Directorate for Geosciences, was asked how the lack of global warming over the past 17 years impacts the project's primary assumption that climate change is "one of the most pressing problems of the millennium." He replied in the typical language used by those devoted protectors of the faith, saying that "there is more than one aspect in assessing whether there is climate change, so there is not a simple answer to your question. That’s more a policy question." Then this climate change scam artist lied through his teeth saying, "There’s no political agenda on our end." Itsweire then went on to add, "We’re just a research agency trying to get the best ideas to understand the complicated system we live in."

Theoretically, the increasing of what’s defined as being ‘scientific knowledge’ about the Earth’s complex climate system is not the only goal of the $18 Million taxpayer funded study, at least according to NSF’s own request for bids, which are due December 23. We’re told that the results will be also used to "effectively translate climate predictions and associated uncertainties into the scientific basis for policy and management decisions related to human interventions and adaptation to the projected impacts of climate change." So what kind of "policy and management decisions" might they be referring to? NSF, by the way, has a $6.8 Billion budget, and is described as being is an independent, federally funded agency.

Look, I don’t mean to sound like a conspiracy nut here, but I am more than just a little curious about something here. Knowing the mentality those who are behind the perpetuating of this junk science, if the models as they currently exist can’t be made to come up with the desired result, than why shouldn’t I be at least a little suspicious when I’m told the plan is to now alter completely how the data is to be gathered? Look, the bottom line here is that I simply don’t trust these people. It is simply not possible for man to effect the climate, one way or the other. This entire manmade climate change scam has been instigated by those who see it as way to bring and end to capitalism. Which is why Democrats are the biggest proponents of this nonsense.
