In what is the epitome of the growing power of our Big Brother government, we now have the Internal Revenue Service saying that it will need a battalion of 1,054 new auditors and staffers and even some additional, new facilities all at a cost to already overburdened taxpayers of more than $359 Million in fiscal 2012. It is claimed that all of these new people as well the new facilities as well, are what will be needed just to watch over the "initial" implementation of Barry's disastrous healthcare/insurance "reforms." Among these new auditors will be 81 workers whose specifically assigned task will be to make sure that all of those tricky tanning salons pay up regarding the new 10 percent excise tax on such activities. Their cost alone will be $11.5 Million. This is nothing but a colossal waste of money at a time when we're already going broke and taxpayers are witnessing their disposable income shrink right before their very eyes. The whole concept of Obamacare is not one that's designed around the creating of more affordable healthcare or even the providing of coverage to those current unable to obtain healthcare. Obviously with the amount of money this thing is going to be costing, it is far from be affordable, for anybody. I think we all know what the purpose is that's behind this very obvious charade. From the get go this supposed "reform" was designed and implemented for the sole intent of providing to the government the means by which it can control not only the ability of every single American to obtain healthcare but also the level of care that they are entitled to receive. The type of healthcare that one will be permitted to receive will now be determined by some faceless bureaucrat hidden away in some cubicle deep in the bowels of the federal government. Barry's plan puts into place a system where prior to any approval for healthcare services being given, factors relating to how useful or productive the requesting individual is to society would then be used to determine if the cost to be incurred by providing the requested healthcare service, is justified.
"The ACA [Affordable Care Act], will require additional resources to build new IT systems; modify existing tax processing systems; provide taxpayer outreach and assistance services; make enhancements to notices, collections, and case management systems to address and resolve taxpayer issues timely and accurately; and conduct focused examinations to encourage compliance," said the newly released IRS budget. In its request, the IRS explained that the tax changes associated with health reform are huge. "Implementation of the Affordable Care Act of 2010 presents a major challenge to the IRS. ACA represents the largest set of tax law changes in more than 20 years, with more than 40 provisions that amend the tax laws." What was noticeably absent throughout all of this, was the fact that this current round of requests is only the beginning of a very costly exercise, since the new healthcare program is evolving and won't be fully implemented until about 2014. That's why it is imperative that this train wreck be prevented from ever occurring. The detailed IRS budget documents spell out exactly what most of the new workforce will be doing. For example, some 81 will be tasked just to handle the tax reporting of 25,000 tanning salons. They face a new 10 percent excise tax on indoor tanning services. Another 76 will be assigned to make sure businesses engaged in making and imported drugs pay their new fee which is expected to deliver $2.8 Billion to the Treasury in 2012 and 2013. The new healthcare watchdogs will also require new facilities as well as new computers.
The document does provide to the Republican at least one bright target to hit if they plan to make good on the many promises made to work toward the defunding of Barry's healthcare plan. Promises they had better make good on if they wish their tenure as Majority in the House to go beyond the next election. As well, all those currently out there loudly proclaiming that the Republicans stand a very good chance of taking control of the Senate could be eating some crow if, as happened any number of time before, the Republicans are successful at nothing more than shooting themselves squarely in both feet. Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, who's become a point man in the budget battle, told Whispers, "The president's irresponsible budget empowers the IRS to begin to audit Americans' healthcare. As the IRS says, Obamacare represents the largest set of tax changes in more than 20 years. Adding hundreds of new jobs and millions of dollars to the IRS isn't going to make care better or more available for anyone. I will continue to fight to repeal and replace Obamacare with patient centered reforms that help the private sector—not the IRS—create more jobs." All that sounds good, but as my deal old dad used to say, "Talk is cheap, it takes money to buy whiskey." There are not many things that are more imperative than the very thorough scuttling of this obamanation that is "Obamacare." Because of it massive impact on so many different levels, as well as the massive expense, needs to be scrapped in its entirety as soon as possible.
Little Timmy "The Tax Cheat" Geithner's Treasury Department, which oversees the IRS said: "The Affordable Care Act includes important tax credits that help small businesses provide health insurance for their employees and partially cover the cost of health insurance for Americans who do not have access to affordable coverage, and Treasury's Budget includes funding for the IRS to administer these tax provisions. The vast majority of this funding will be used to develop information technology systems and other support to implement the law and help taxpayers claim these important credits." The IRS document also noted that other tax law changes related to the stimulus require more workers, estimated at about 215 new employees. It's not all tough news for taxpayers, however. Supposedly, the IRS pays for its enforcement team and more with what they collect from companies and individuals when the try to skip out on paying their "fair share." I guess that would apply to everyone except guys like Timmy, Rangel and Daschle, who because they are Democrats simply can't be bothered by something as trivial as paying taxes. According to the budget documents, the IRS plans to get a big return on investment collecting about $279 million by fiscal year 2014 from those unfortunate enough not to find themselves in powerful positions in the Democrat Party. That's Democrats in Congress don’t mind raising taxes, they never have to pay them. Anyway, the whole scheme regarding the recouping of such an amount is nothing more than a hypothetical coming from officials in the most corrupt administration in recent memory. The strong arm tactics of the IRS are well known and border on those found in and Third World Banana Republic. They're great at acts of intimidation and the making of threats.
And now I've heard that the Republicans on the House Rules Committee reluctantly, or so they say, have rejected Iowa Republican Steve King's amendment to defund health care reform on what appears to me to be a technicality. “It is an abomination that this bill was passed," Rep. Virginia Fox, a North Carolina Republican, said. But, “you are asking us to change the rules here in the Rules Committee… What that does is open us up to the same accusations that were made of our colleagues across the aisle over the last four years in terms of them not being fair to us." Well then these guys had best put their collective heads together and come up with a viable "Plan B," and pretty damn quick. This thing cannot be allowed to stand. I refuse to believe that there is even the remotest chance that Nancy "Botox" is that much smarter than anyone on our side. What we need to do is to do whatever it takes to kill this "Obamacare" thing, and as soon as possible. And if that leaves us open to the same accusations that were aimed at the Democrats, so be it. I would say our counter to that would be to say our motives rest more so with empowering the people and less, as were the Democrats, in favor of empowering the government. We simply cannot let stand this idiotic notion. Speaker Boehner had best put his thinking cap on and come up with a plan to thwart whatever it is that "Stretch" Pelosi may have done to make it difficult to ditch this piece of dog squeeze. The mere fact that she had to include all manner of trickery in the language of this thing lays bare the fact that at the time it was being shoved down our throats she knew exactly what it was. Of course she did say, we'd all know what was in it once it was passed. Those were probably the truest words this pathetic old hag has ever spoken.
