EX-RINO SENATOR GIVES ADVICE TO GOP

And now some very stupid advice for the GOP that comes from “former” Senator Bob Bennett (RINO-Utah). Mr. Bennett says that what the Republican Party needs to have in a 2012 presidential candidate is a person who has a "national view" and can attract moderate voters, at least that’s what Politico is reporting. But I cold have sworn that that was exactly what we had in 2008 in the person of “The Maverick.” And also, if I’m not mistaken, didn’t he have his ass handed to him by Barry? I mean really, at the time was three anyone who was more “centrist” than Johnny McCain? Bennett is noting more than one more crybaby RINO who this time around was faced with a primary challenge from a conservative and he lost.

"If you're going to nominate a national candidate you better have a national view, and we've always done that. The Republican nominee has almost always been closer to the center than the center of gravity of the Republican Party," he told Fox News' Greta Van Susteren. Well, I don’t think that can be said of Reagan. RINOs like this guy are the very last ones that anyone who call themselves a conservative, should be listening to. As my mom used to say, he made his bed, now let him lie in it. Bennett likes to call the current political atmosphere "toxic" and has stated that it's, "Clear some of the votes I've cast have added to that toxic environment, looking back with one or two minor exceptions, I wouldn't cast any any differently, even if I knew it would cost me my career." Well Bob they did, so stop complaining and deal with it.

And in one more bit of Bennett advice, he also said that the GOP would've won a majority in the Senate in the 2010 midterm elections if it hadn't been for Tea Party candidates. Well, let’s just say for the sake of argument, that this old doof is right. What kind of a majority would it have been, exactly? With guys like Bennett being a part of it, “Dingy” Harry still would have had an effective majority at his disposal. Bennett is nothing if not a sore loser. Rumor has it he’s grooming his son to be the next senator from Utah. A son who was, by the way, his father’s campaign manager, and who ended up throwing his support to the Democrat in the general election. So what’s that tell ya?
