So why is it, do you think, that it’s always the ones screaming the loudest about their desire to preserve democracy, always seem to be the very same ones who appear to be the most determined to destroy it? And it’s right here at home that it’s the Democrats who are always the first ones to accuse the opposition of being the real threat. But who exactly is it that we most often see choosing to ignore our Constitution whenever it is perceived as being an obstacle to their agenda? That would of course be the very same Democrats. And it’s whenever they are reminded that our Constitution exist for a purpose, that they have a complete meltdown.
And it was earlier this week that Democrats were
once again handed just such a reminder by the Supreme Court by way the Court’s
unanimous decision regarding the ongoing effort by Democrats to keep President
Trump off the ballot for this upcoming presidential election. And it was none
other than that Democrat from the People’s Republic of Maryland, Jamie Raskin,
who appeared on Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Newsroom” to voice his obvious dissatisfaction
with decision. He described the Supreme Court’s unanimously overturning of the
Colorado Supreme Court’s ruling that disqualified President Trump from the
ballot, as merely punting.
Now while I may not be the constitutional scholar
that Raskin is, it would seem that a 9-0 ruling is not a punt. On the contrary,
it’s more of a touchdown, a home run, a slam dunk, a hat trick or any other
fitting sports analogy. It was an in-your-face, crystal clear, leave no room
for doubt ruling. Yet Raskin said, “The, court didn’t exactly disagree with it.
They just said that they’re not the ones to figure it out. It’s not going to be
a matter for judicial resolution under Section Three of the 14th Amendment, but
it’s up to Congress to enforce it. I disagree with that interpretation just
because the other parts of the 14th Amendment are self-executing."
Raskin went on to say, “People can go to court and
say that something violates equal protection, even if there’s not a federal
statute that allows them to do that. But any event, the Supreme Court punted
and said, it’s up to Congress to act.” He said, “And so I am working with a
number of my colleagues, including Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Eric Swalwell,
to revive legislation that we had to set up a process by which we could
determine that someone who committed insurrection is disqualified by section
three of the 14th Amendment and the House of Representatives already impeached
Donald Trump for participating in insurrection by inciting it."
And he said, “So the House has already pronounced
upon that, and there was also a 57 to 43 vote in the Senate. The question is
whether speaker Mike Johnson would allow us to bring this to the floor of the
House?” Raskin added, “Obviously the Supreme Court did not want to step up to
the plate and deal with the clear textualist meaning of Section Three of the
14th Amendment, much less did they want to deal with the original purposes of
Section Three of the 14th Amendment, which was to keep off of keep out of federal
office, people who had already proven themselves disloyal and untrustworthy."
Now you would think that a 9-0 ruling would be
enough to bury this unconstitutional voter disenfranchisement attempt but, apparently
not! Banning President Trump from ballots is now a dead issue. Time to move on
to other, even more stupid, attempts to jail him. Democrats will never give up.
Democrats tried to convict President Trump of the ridiculous charge that he
incited an insurrection. They spent hours and hours wasting time giving
testimony and, in the end, came up empty. And then, in an effort to prevent
their bogus ‘evidence’ from ever seeing the light of day, they illegally
disposed of it all because it actually exonerated President Trump.
Clearly the Democrats aren’t going to give up on
their insurrection narrative after having spent so much time and energy creating
it. Bribery, division, and dirty tricks are the only way Democrats can win
elections. They can’t win on the merit of their ideas, so they resort to things
like changing election rules and disqualifying opponents in order to cling to
power. Because that’s what is paramount for Democrats, keeping their power. It
never even crosses their minds to do something good for their constituents and
not just to keep their power. Hopefully they are going to lose big because they
deserve to. But it should be the will of the people, not the courts.
Let me get this straight. Democrats are going to
vote for legislation that will allow them, when in the majority, to disqualify
any Republican from the ballot. Everything Republicans do is insurrection to
Democrats. However, anything Democrats do, like encourage their Democrat mobs
of arsonists, looters, and general rioters to destroy big chunks of American
cities, is not insurrection, right? Democrats are the party that keeps telling
us that if Trump is reelected, he will destroy our democracy when, in fact, and
by their own actions, they are the ones who are attempting to usurp the
Constitution, by overturning the rule of law and destroying our democracy.
Even the lamest, most severely brainwashed imbeciles
among us should be able to clearly see what has become so plainly obvious to so
many. Courtesy of several recent surveys we know that almost 74 percent of
Republicans, 30 percent of Democrats, and over 50 precent of Independents now think
that fraud played a part in the 2020 election. By that thought process all
Democrats should be barred from elections for inciting an insurrection by
holding fraudulent elections. So let’s see over a million people showed up for
the “stop the steal” rally and less than 2000 actually broke any laws. I think
the burden of proof, by the numbers, is overwhelming?
Joey & Co. wishes to make this election about protecting
democracy, so let them. Raskin is nothing if not a complete buffoon. He’s your typical
Democrat who hates this country even more than he hates President Trump. He
talks about President Trump and an insurrection that never happened. Oh, there
was an insurrection alright, but it was committed by Joey, and every single Democrat
in Congress. And you can see how the Democrats prioritize their work. Instead
of doing all that they can in trying to show us how their candidate is better,
winning at the polls, their focus remains on how President Trump should be
removed from the ballot. Go do some real work!!!
One would think those who make our laws would at
least know how those laws are supposed to work. Raskin sounds like a total
illiterate whenever commenting on our laws and our Constitution. He has no
business being in public office, much less in a law-making capacity. Raskin
once again proves what a despicable, degenerate, do-rag wearing piece of slime
he is with this latest commentary on a media program designed to promote and
produce more and more scum-sucking degenerates if it gets the outlet airtime
and more advertisers. To think of the total lack of intelligence and integrity
the group of Raskin, Wasserman-Schultz and Swalwell together is sickening.
How many times must we go through this? Yet another
dirty Democrat scheme to try and subvert the will of the people. Hitlery’s
dossier, the endless hearings after Donald Trump humiliated her, the groundless
impeachment attempts, a bogus January 6 ‘investigation,’ using the FBI to raid
his home, three years of corrupt Soros Inc. lawfare and now the attempt to
usurp both the Legislative and the Judicial branches to somehow ‘ban’ President
Trump from running because they’re unable to actually run on an agenda that has
succeeded in doing nothing more than turn our country into another third world
cesspool. Their only option is to destroy President Trump.
All they can do is go after
President Trump. They can claim what their policies have accomplished. Give
with one hand, take away with the other. Toss Americans out, put illegals in. Joey
can’t debate, so an excuse will be drafted that will allow him to avoid it. The
left’s so-called experts on constitutional law are anything but experts. They simply
make shit up and then preach it as being constitutional gospel. It's why they
keep getting confused by those rulings that go against them. They love to claim
their positions are ‘unassailable,’ only to watch them fall one after another.
