LARRY HOGAN, ANOTHER BACKSTABBING RINO…

I must admit that I do find it a bit disconcerting that as a patriotic American who genuinely loves my country, there are so few who I can vote for who share my sense of patriotism.  And one of those, President Trump, has for the last 4 years, been made to endure what has been nothing less than a constant barrage of every type of political attack.  And the source of these attacks has been a combined front, of sorts, comprised of Democrats, the ‘fake news’ media and of course a substantial number of RINOs.  And what is yet to be determined is whether or not the American people will chose to stand with this president or with those who want only to destroy our country.

It was yet another one of these pathetic RINOs, Larry Hogan, governor of Maryland, who, during a recent appearance on Bloomberg TV, claimed that “a couple” of President Trump’s cabinet secretaries have urged him to consider launching a primary challenge against the president in the 2020 election.  Now I’m sorry, I may have been born at night but it most certainly was not last night.  Who in their right mind, no matter how much they hate the president, would think this toad would be a viable alternative to Donald Trump?  Gutless RINOs, like this douche bag Hogan, are killing us by simply standing on the sidelines watching as the Democrats destroy this country.

Anyway, it was Bloomberg’s Kevin Cirilli who said, “Larry Hogan writes that members of President Trump’s Cabinet urged him to consider challenging President Trump in the 2020 Republican primary. He writes, “The media was also enamored by the idea of a popular Republican governor, a real Republican, with a proven record of electoral success going toe to toe with Donald Trump inside the GOP… but cabinet secretaries? Encouraging me to run for president against their boss for president? That one surprised me.” That is a stunning revelation. How many and which members of the president’s cabinet told you to consider running against him?”  A “real Republican?”

And Hogan responded, “There were only a couple and I am not going to reveal the names because they are private conversations, and I certainly would not want to see a couple of friends fired from the administration… I don’t think it comes as any surprise to folks that there are a lot of people in the administration who have sometimes spoken out here and there. It was just one small thing to mention in the book. Certainly not a main focus of anything we were talking about. I did not have any kind of a serious effort to try to run for president. But a lot of people are encouraging me. I was surprised to hear how close some of these folks were in the White House.”

Cirilli then asked, “What was there primary motivation?”  And Hogan replied saying, “I think it was a little bit of a concern about losing the election and when the bottom is going to drop out of this thing and what was the alternative. And could we find someone who could perhaps put together a winning coalition in the fall.”  As far as I’m concerned the only likely suspects here would likely be those two losers, Tillerson and maybe Mattis, but there are others who could be suspected. But, he's likely lying. Hogan is the kind of RINO Republican you get when your state is two-thirds Democrat and that’s only major city is in the running for murder capital of the world.

What’s truly disgusting about these RINOs is that they can very plainly see what’s going on in our Democrat controlled cities, and they know that that is what the Democrats clearly have in store for the entire country if they are successful in the coming election.  And yet, these RINOs like Hogan, Kasich and Willard still seem interested in doing all that they can to ensure just such an eventuality comes to pass.  And it’s in so doing that thy reveal themselves to be not merely as bad as the Democrats, but clearly so very much worse.  Because they see what’s taking place and clearly have virtually no interest in doing anything to bring it all to an end.

Nobody with a single ounce of good sense would consider Hogan, a complete and total nobody at the national level, capable of winning the Presidency.  If President Trump is re-elected, they can spend the next four years dreaming of the White House once he’s done with it.  But if the president doesn't win a second term, then Republicans can forget about ever winning an election again.  Because once the Democrats are finished making every illegal immigrant a citizen with the right to vote, scrapping the Electoral College, redistributing the Senate seats, mandating mail-in ballots and vote harvesting, we will never again see another Republican President in our lifetime.

Hogan’s primary claim to fame is the fact that he’s a Republican who won in a very blue state.  But then, the only reason he was able to do that is because the last Democrat governor, Marty O’Malley, was a total piece of shit.  And while Hogan is a member of the Republican Party, what he is not, by anyone’s definition, an actual conservative.  And as is usually always the case with these blue state Republicans, it’s far more often than not that they tend to govern as ‘moderate’ Democrats which is what makes him look a Republican in places like Maryland.  While they are nowhere near a conservative, they are better than full-fledged Democrats. But not by much.

And what is really sort of bizarre is the fact that this clown actually thinks that this reflects badly on anyone other than he himself and those cabinet officials whom he claims have approached him.  Frankly, if I were him, I would be embarrassed to admit this, and even more embarrassed that cabinet officials who had decided to betray the President who appointed them, had thought of me as being the tool for their betrayal.  Anyone with a shred of honor or decency in that position would immediately tell those cabinet officials that they were themselves honor-bound to resign, and that if they did not resign immediately, he would expose their plotting.

And finally, while I admit that I would find it more than a bit disheartening, it’s at this point that I wouldn’t really blame President Trump if he was to just walk away.  After all, he has given it his best shot and could definitely depart with his head held high confident in the knowledge that he had accomplished much of what he had promised to do if elected.  But I’m sure he would likely be a little confused as to why, simply because many Americans don’t care for his particular ‘style’ would prefer to turn their country over to someone who is interested not only in NOT ‘Making America Great Again,’ but is far more interested only in burning it completely to the ground.
