It was just this past Monday that old ‘Judge Nappy’ Napolitano got together with one of the other resident Trump-Haters there at Fox News to prove yet again how little it is that he actually knows about the Constitution and how much he hates the president. It was during an appearance on Fox News’ “Your World,” that the network’s ‘senior judicial analyst’ went on another of his trademark rants directed at President Trump for what the ‘judge’ said was his sending of badgeless federal officers without the coordination of local authorities to quell protests in Portland.
Nappy said, “Here, you have locals who look to Antifa and Antifa supporters for political support. The local authorities, Mayor Wheeler, is not going to let the police do what they want to do. You have a vice here. You have anarchy on one hand. If the troops come in the streets, you have a potential for even more violence on the other hand.” He continued, “What happened in Portland over the weekend, it was not only unlawful and unconstitutional, it’s just plain wrong.” These days few take anything that old Nappy says seriously, he’s become little more than a spiteful old gas bag.
Anyway, Nappy then went on to say, “Sending armed, untrained police into the streets wearing fatigues without the knowledge or consent of the local police actually caused more violence. All the people that they arrested, they didn’t file one criminal complaint against anybody because they didn’t have a basis to do so. They were just grabbing innocents off the streets.” “Grabbing innocent’s off the street?” So I can only assume that this moron not spent any amount of time actually watching the carnage now taking place in so many of our Democrats run cities! He really should!
He added, “You have a lot of peaceful demonstrators. The complaint filed by the Attorney General of Oregon against the Department of Homeland Security recounts horror stories of peaceful people being kidnapped, held blindfold, handcuffed, and incommunicado for just two hours and then let go. There is no reason to disturb those people. The people they should stop are the ones with the baseball bats.” He concluded, “The federal government can’t do what it doesn’t have the authority to do. And it shouldn’t do anything without the coordination of the locals.”
Also, it’s our rather hapless old Nappy who must actually believe these idiotic fabrications about “peaceful people” being “kidnapped, held blindfolded, handcuffed and held incommunicado?” You know, every time this pathetic old fraud opens his mouth that he provides us all with one more reason why it is that we should waste no more of our time listening to a word he says. I mean, the guy makes virtually no sense to anyone other than another Trump hater. And I find it pretty funny that he still expects anyone to take him seriously? Hey Nappy, we’re all onto you.
Pitiful old ‘Judge’ Nappy, wrong again and appearing to be blinded by his own desire to issue another bit of payback to President Trump, in any way that he can because the president doesn’t see Nappy as being as smart as Nappy sees himself. Look, federal agents have every right to protect federal property. People suspected of damaging federal property can be legally detained for questioning. This guy Nappy is a guy who has become nothing more than a useful idiot and a leftist apologist. And he most certainly is not someone who should be anyone’s ‘senior judicial analyst.’
Nappy makes clear his obvious ignorance of the situation by stating these are “troops,” when they obviously are not. What they really are, are federal agents from various Border and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and other agencies whose mandate, among other things, is to protect federal property and employees there in the People’s Republic of Portlandia. Got that judge? To protect! It’s not a “horror story” when masked anarchists out on the streets at 3 am are taken into custody for a couple of hours and then released when the violence dies down.
Portland burning for eight straight weeks while the Democrat mayor is hiding in his office doing nothing to protect those who he supposedly represents and then has the nerve to blame President Trump. What a douche bag. And then here comes ‘Judge’ Nappy taking the side of this douche bag mayor. WTF? This dope hasn’t been a sitting judge for 25 years, and even at that he was a New Jersey Superior Court judge for only eight years. He is beyond annoying. He’s the equivalent of that creepy kid in high school who would say anything outrageous just to get someone to notice him.
Also, Nappy must think it just fine for rioters to deface and destroy public and private property. To burn down businesses, to attack police officers and even to kill? These people are NOT protesters by anyone’s definition. What they are, are malcontents, anarchist and rioters. If the political ‘leaders,’ and I use the term loosely, of a city or state outright refuse to bring order to a situation, someone has to. Or should we just let them continue to destroy things until they finally get tired and go home? This has nothing to do with black lives, it’s only about looting, burning and destroying.
That Fox permits him to use his ‘credentials’ to incorrectly state the law and pass it off as ‘expert’ commentary, tells you all need to know about ‘Fox News.’ So it’s okay for the business owners and people who disagree with these Marxists to be held hostage, but not okay for the government to protect them and their property? These have not been peaceful protests for weeks now. These activities are insurrections and they must not stand. These people are domestic enemies. Their agenda does not seek to advance dialogue, their agenda seeks to destroy to the greatest extent possible.
And I wonder, does Nappy see it as being in any way either lawful or constitutional for a mayor to issue to the police a stand down order and to allow what is nothing but a domestic terrorist group to take near complete control of the city they swore to protect and to put their citizens in pretty extreme danger. Hey Nappy, I’d be willing to bet that even your sorry ass took the same oath as did any of these politicians about serving and protecting the Constitution, even if it was just the state constitution. But a sworn oath is just meaningless words, right? Just a formality?
But should President Trump be doing this? Should he perhaps simply let these leftwing cities burn to the ground? After all, these city officials were duly elected by those who live in these cities, and you get what you vote for! I must admit that I’m torn on the issue. And then there is the concern about unintended consequences, do we want the next Democrat president, whomever they may be, sending the Feds into Republican-controlled cities without the support of the city or state government? Because you can bet they will, and it won't be for a reason that you support.
