‘THE SLICKMEISTER’ GOES STUMPING FOR HITLERY…

It would seem that ex-president ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton is either losing it, or might simply be having a little fun Barry “Almighty’s” expense.  Neither, or so it has been said, is likely to be good news for wife, Hitlery.  ‘Slick’ hit the campaign trail on behalf of his wife yesterday up in Spokane, Washington, and quickly started throwing some darts at Barry's supposed legacy.  And what he said actually kind of contradicted at least some of what Hitlery has said as she has busied herself trying to tie her campaign to what she has referred to as being Barry’s ‘many’ accomplishments.

'Slick' came out swinging as he said, "If you believe we can rise together, if you believe we've finally come to the point where we can put the awful legacy of the last eight years behind us and the seven years before that where we were practicing trickle-down economics, and no regulation in Washington, which is what cause the crash, then you should vote for her."  Meanwhile ‘Slick’s’ aides were also pretty quick to ‘clarify’ that the perceived ‘insult’ was not intended but rather was, "referring to the GOP's obstructionism and not President Obama's legacy."  Ya, sure it was.

But what seemed to be kinda strange is the fact that it wasn’t all that long ago, just this past February to be exact, that old ‘Slick’ seemed to be singing quite the different tune when making a reference to what has transpired over the course of the last few years.  You see, it was then that the old ‘Slickmeister’ said, "I think President Obama deserves a lot of credit for doing what he did with one hand tied behind his back because a lot of the people that elected him in 2008 didn't show up in 2010; that's our fault."  So which is it there, Billy Boy?  Feast, or famine?

During his speech 'Slick' it was pretty obvious what he was up to.  Which was, of course, to tear down Barry in what was an effort to try to boost his loser of a wife.  But it was in telling those assembled for this campaign rally that Hitlery can help America "rise together" and "put the awful legacy of the last eight years behind us," that he was right about one thing.  The last eight years have been pretty much of a disaster, economically, financially and internationally.  And I’m not quite sure how electing Hitlery we increase our odds of making the next four years any better.

'Slick' said, "I literally from the time I met her 45 years ago until we talked yesterday, she is the best change maker I have ever known."  And he went on to say, "She always finds a way to make something good happen, to make people feel empowered, to buy people into the process, to make democracy work the way the framers intended for it to work.”  And I find myself wondering if he’s talking about the same Hitlery that the rest of us have been forced into tolerating for the last 25 years.  Because the two would seem to bear absolutely no resemblance to one another whatsoever!

'Slick' said, "Now if you don’t believe we can all grow together again, if you don't believe we're ever going to grow again, if you believe it's more important to re-litigate the past, there may be many reasons that you don't want to support her."  He went on to say, "Because she's the only person who basically has good ideas, will tell you how she's going to pay for them, can be commander-in-chief, and is a proven change maker with Republicans and Democrats and Independents alike."  With Hitlery there would be NO change, only more of the same!

And in his boosting of Hitlery I thought it odd, and a tad bit dishonest, that as part of his shtick regarding the last eight years, ‘Slick’ made the claim that it was a lack of regulation that brought about the housing crash of 2008.  Odd because he knows full well what brought it about and dishonest because he knows that it was he himself who played a critical role in making it happen courtesy of the Community Re-Investment Act that Jimmy Carter signed back in 1977 and that he then proceeded to make worse.  So what it was, was too much government involvement not too little.

But hey, if there is anything that we know about these two pathetically sleazy characters, or should know, it’s that they never let the facts get in the way of an attempt to portray themselves as being something other than what they are.  And while the trail of slime that these two have left behind stretches back for decades there are still people who seem to be only too happy to vote for her and would still vote for him if the opportunity was to ever present itself.  And the very last person who we need trying to pick up the pieces after eight years of Barry, is Hitlery!
