‘DINGY’ HARRY USES 'CLIMATE CHANGE' TO RIP HOUSE GOP...

So I ask you, with nary a hurricane in sight, what’s a poor ‘climate change’ believing Democrat to do when trying to badger the opposition? Well, apparently, if you're 'Dingy' Harry Reid, you go looking for the next best thing to blame on 'climate change.' And in this case, if you’re ‘Dingy’ Harry, that would be the massive destruction caused by flooding in parts of Colorado. You see it was while on the Senate floor Tuesday morning that 'Dingy' proceeded to slam House Republicans for partisanship and wasting the "taxpayer's time" trying to repeal ObamaCare. Personally, I prefer having a little more time be wasted than anymore of my money. And I always find it being a little hypocritical when Democrats accuse the Republicans of being partisan.

Anyway, ‘Dingy Harry’ listed numerous issues that Congress should be focusing its efforts on during session this year and lamented the fact that the House Republicans have simply refused to get on board with Barry's domestic agenda. As if he somehow considers it as being a no-brainer. 'Dingy' said, "ObamaCare is the law of the land. It's time for Republican's to mature," adding, "to grow up ... It's time for Republicans to stop denying reality." So I guess, according to 'Dingy', we’re all just supposed to ignore completely how this law will adversely effect the lives of every single American, except for those in Congress, and the disgraceful manner that this law was brought into being, and simply surrender to it? Sorry, I am firmly behind any effort to get rid of it.

And then after suggesting that Congress could be better using it's time on addressing issues that have to do with such things as the nation's infrastructure, ‘Dingy’ changed quickly gears and focused on the issue that remains so important to Democrats, "climate change." In choosing to ignore completely all of the evidence to the contrary, 'Dingy' boldly declared that, "Climate change is here." He went on to decry the fact, "We're doing nothing about it." ‘Dingy’ also suggested that Congress should "try passing immigration reform" before going on to actually list what he comically referred to as being the economic benefits of ObamaCare. Now there's a laugh, economic benefits of Obamacare. Is that not an oxymoron?

But 'Dingy' then returned to the topic of 'climate change', saying, "We should be facing the reality of climate change. Look what happened in Colorado. I talked to Senator Bennet yesterday, he said the floods were "biblical." In one part of Colorado, it rained 12 inches in two hours. I can't imagine that." Wow, you know 'Dingy's' got to be really worried about all of this 'climate change' nonsense, especially when he starts throwing around the 'B' word, even if it's kinda by proxy? But hey, I'm sure 'Dingy' views it as being one of those instances where desperate times call for desperate measures, especially as Democrats try to wreak as much economic havoc as possible while, in the process, identifying the Republicans as being the cause.

But old 'Dingy' wasn't finished just yet, not by a long shot, as he then proceeded to lay it on even thicker saying, "Fires all over the West, climate change is here. I met with the Foreign Minister of Bangladesh. They don't know what they're going to do with the rise of the sea, which is taking place. That country has no place -- no high ground. It's that way all over the world. Martial Islands -- 1,000 islands make up the Martial Islands. Fifty-five thousand people live there. These islands are being washed away with these new waves they've never seen before." yup, quite the work of fiction that we heard presented by old 'Dingy' Harry. But then this is typical behavior for scumbags like 'Dingy', always sounding the alarm for no real emergency.

'Dingy' reiterated again in his effort to chastise the Republicans, "Climate change is here. We're doing nothing about it. They're spending all our time, the American taxpayer's time, trying to repeal a law that's been in effect for four years." Well I would argue that just because it has been effect for four years, doesn't make it undeserving of being gotten rid of. Now granted, I'm sure 'Dingy' has no problem with it since he no longer has to abide by it, but the vast majority of those of us who do, would just as soon see it go the way of the do-do. It's going to be far too costly and it's going to result in people losing their jobs. Don't forget, this thing wasn't created to 'fix' anything, it was created for the sole purpose of allowing the government control of your healthcare.

"DINGY" HARRY'S RATHER UNIQUE PERSPECTIVE REGARDING JOB CREATION...

Well, it seems that our stellar Senate Majority Leader, "Dingy" Harry Reid has made his stance on jobs quite clear, saying on Wednesday that the priority for Congress when it comes to "creating" jobs has to be one where the focus in placed primarily on creating government jobs and not worrying so much about working to create private-sector jobs. He stated that this is reason behind why Senate Democrats are now pushing a bill aimed at shoring up teachers and first-responders. "It's very clear that private-sector jobs have been doing just fine; it's the public-sector jobs where we've lost huge numbers, and that's what this legislation is all about." Believe it or not, that's what old "Dingy" said right from the floor of the Senate. So it's very clear that private-sector jobs are doing just fine? Clear to whom, exactly? And it's the creating of unionized public sectors jobs that's now where the most effort needs to be expended.

Apparently, in offering up this unique and rather bizarre perspective on things, old "Dingy" was in fact responding to recent comments made by Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who has accused the Democrats of purposefully pursuing higher taxes as part of the teacher/first-responder bill, S. 1723, to increase the likelihood that Republicans would oppose it. So what "Dingy" is actually doing here is to essentially play politics with the lives of millions of Americans who remain out of work. McConnell said the bill was meant to fail for no other reason that to provide to Democrats an issue on which they can run in the 2012 election. But good old "Dingy," in feigned shock and disbelief, claimed that nothing could be further from the truth , claiming instead that the Republicans are simply trying to defeat Barry "Almighty" any way they can.


"Dingy" once again reiterated the rationale behind his emphasis on the creating of additional government jobs (union jobs), by saying Democrats remain committed to "put hundreds of thousands of people back to work teaching children, have more police patrolling our streets, firefighters fighting our fires, doing the rescue work that they do so well … that's our priority." Ah yes, it's all about the children and public safety. BUNK! He the went on to focused on the Republicans who he says are referring to the bill as a "failure" because they are "using a different benchmark for success than we are." "Dingy" repeated his idiotic claim that private-sector jobs have increased over the last 19 months, while its been "unionized" government jobs that have lagged, and have suffered cuts in several states that are struggling to balance their books. But to say that private sector jobs have increased? Where exactly?


Despite these never-ending idiotic comments, a spokesman for old "Dingy," sounding the same recurring obstructionist theme, continued to claim that attempts made by Democrats to pass several bills aimed at spurring private sector job growth have repeatedly been blocked by Republicans in Congress. "Senator Reid believes that Congress must work to spur job-creation in the private sector, which is why he's working to pass tax cuts for small businesses to hire new workers, tax cuts for small businesses to write off business expenses, and investments to create private-sector construction jobs," so said spokesmoron Adam Jentleson said. Sounding like the proverbial broken record, this moron droned on saying, "Republicans are blocking all of these proposals to create jobs in the private sector because they care more about defeating President Obama than putting Americans back to work."


Reid claimed that a majority of those people polled actually support the bill, as well as the tax hike needed to fund the $35 billion spending program is "minimal." But I think if you were to ask those same people if they knew the specifics of the bill, the majority wouldn't have a clue. Still "Dingy" said, "My friend, the Republican leader … is complaining about a tax of one-half of 1 percent … on people who make more than $1 million a year to pay for a program that would stop teachers from being laid off and rehire some of the teachers that have been laid off." Democrats who support the bill have made the unsubstantiated claim it would, theoretically, help "save" 400,000 teacher jobs and thousands of first-responder jobs that have either been cut or could soon be cut. And again resorting to the blame Bush mantra, "Dingy" said Wednesday that these layoffs are "rooted in the last administration," but did not explain further.


Senate Democrats are hoping to pass S. 1723 as early as this week, although votes could be delayed until early November, depending on the progress made on passing a 2012 spending bill. And acting ever the obstructionist himself, old "Dingy" also dismissed efforts by the Republican House to ease environmental regulations as a way to create jobs. "The Republican response has been cutting back environmental health safeguards, I guess hoping that a sicker, more polluted country is a better place to create jobs, and it's not," "Dingy" said. You know, the fact that "Dingy," like Barry "Almighty," would think that anybody but demented Democrats would buy into the nonsense that Republicans want a "more polluted" country show just how far removed from reality they are. People are beginning to see through this crap. The question that remains to be answered, though, is will enough of them see through it by election time.

SOME WISHFUL THINKNG ON THE PART OF “DINGY” HARRY…

Apparently our old friend, “Dingy,” Harry Reid, thinks that by his ignoring the Tea Party he can just make it go away. So the question has been asked, does Harry Reid think that all he has to do is to simply wait out the Tea Party? His statements made thus far would seem to indicate that he seems to think that he can. But you have to wonder if, from the perspective of most Democrats, the Tea Party is such a racist bunch of terrorists who are singularly responsible for such events as the recent downgrade of our dead, would he really be wanting it to go away? Those folks who comprise the Tea Party have been repeatedly blamed by the Democrats, including our pathetic president, for every ill that has befallen this country and they have pretty much be called every derogatory name in the book. And why is that exactly? Because they see the government as being too big and too expensive to operate? Or, because they see their government as being too intrusive? Nope, not according to “Dingy.” No, the rationale for all of the name-calling and baseless accusations, I fear, is much more sinister. It’s all nothing more than a petty attempt to marginalize these people and nothing more, to cast these patriots as being nothing more anti-government rabble-rousers and fanatics. It’s all about trying to silence the voices of opposition, it’s how sleazy characters like “Dingy” and Barry “Almighty” operate.

Let’s face it, old “Dingy” Harry, and his fellow Democrats, have been desperate in their attempts to blame everything that ails Washington and the nation on the Republicans, and especially conservative Republicans. He slammed the GOP for its refusal to go along with tax increases as part of this month's debt-ceiling deal, saying hard-core fiscal conservatives are making it impossible to strike a long-term deal that slows the growth of the national debt. "(Senate Minority Leader) Mitch McConnell has done a good job bringing the country to a standstill," “Dingy” said. Old “Dingy” fails to mention, however, that in the two years that we essentially had one party rule in Washington, a historic level of spending was undertaken. And it now seems more than a little hypocritical on the part of “Dingy” to place any amount of blame for our present mess, on those who are trying to do nothing more than to rein in some of that budget-busting spending. But no, from “Dingy’s” perspective it is all the fault of those who refuse any willingness to spend more who are truly at fault here. These people are being accused of being “extreme” or “far out of the mainstream” for no other reason than because they see a government that is out of control. It is always those who oppose Democrat policies who must be viewed as being the enemies of the Republic.


According to “Dingy” the reason Republicans have now drawn such a deep line in the sand on tax increases is, of course, because of a rabid Tea Party movement. The populist uprising that was born out of the pure frustration arising from Washington's costly eagerness for bailouts which achieved critical mass after it was the Democrats, led by “The Three Stooges,” Barry, “Dingy” and “Botox” Nancy, who decided to start spending like no government ever before. The faux “stimulus.” The ObamaCare overreach. Budget deficits that made President George W. Bush look like a rookie. As a direct result, Democrats were tossed from office in record numbers last November. That groundswell is also now very active in shaping the 2012 campaign. But old “Dingy” doesn't really expect it to last, he sees this Tea Party thing as nothing more than a passing fad that he’ll have to tolerate for only a very short time. "The Tea Party was the result of a terrible economy," he said. "I've said that many times, and I believe that." "That (the Tea Party) will pass. They will lose a number of seats next year." Let’s not forget that “Dingy” has amassed his considerable power by never underestimating his adversaries. And he has been known to throw out strategic fibs to create a little misdirection every now and again. WHAT, “Dingy” would lie to us? Oh no, say it isn’t so!


Old “Dingy” has made very apparent his arrogant nature by his making the point on more than one occasion, and therefore leaving an indelible impression, that as long as he's leading the Senate Democrats, the Tea Party agenda is dead on arrival in his chamber. What a guy! In exchange for a modicum of reduced growth in federal spending, “Dingy” said someone is going to have to pay more. There will be no reductions and entitlement reforms without tax increases. He singled out the rich and oil companies as especially deserving of punishment. I don’t really detect a very compromising tone there in “Dingy’s” rhetoric. And who besides leftist Democrats talk about punishing private businesses. Oh, that’s right, silly me, Democrats don’t compromise, that’s for schleps. Perhaps old “Dingy” is still savoring his November re-election victory over Tea Party darling Sharron Angle. Perhaps he's completely oblivious to the number of Democrats, in both House and Senate races, sprinting to the right to boost their 2012 chances. Perhaps it's just wishful thinking. But there's no way the Tea Party is going away, certainly not before the 2012 elections, and certainly not when the national debt is projected to shoot past $20 trillion before the end of the decade. Anyone who minimizes the Tea Party by extension minimizes the massive spending problems that created it in the first place. But then you see, “Dingy” really sees no problem with our present rate of spending, because in the end it accomplishes just what he and is cohorts in the Democrats are trying to bring about.


It should come a no surprise that old “Dingy” rationalizes that problems such as our failing economy and high unemployment are all the fault of the Republicans. He, as does Barry “Almighty” continually harp on the fact that George W. Bush is responsible for the country's spending and America's economic woes. After all, Bush inherited a projected $7 trillion budget surplus from Bill Clinton. (Never mind that Clinton served his final six years over a Republican-controlled Congress. They had nothing to do with that period of spending restraint.) While there is no denying that Bush did little to rein in the fat-and-happy Congresses that shoveled out the pork during his first six years in office, he has been out of office for nearly three years now. But what the deficit spending of George W. Bush did do is that it resulted in incalculable political damage in that it allowed corrupt Democrats to portray themselves to the right of Republicans on fiscal policy and falsely run as conservatives in 2008. But budget deficits under Bush were in the $100 billion to $400 billion range, mostly related to the post 9/11 wars. The Barry administration, working with a Democratic House and Senate its first two years, set the course for budget deficits of more than $1 trillion into the distant future. Barry is on course to pile up more debt in three years than Bush did in eight. So let’s lay off blaming Bush for Democrat largesse.


As much as “Dingy” and Barry wish t weren’t so, it can no longer be denied that this country's debt problem and its struggling economy is now wholly own by the Democrats. Also as despite their efforts to portray it as being something else, the 2012 election will, in fact, be a referendum on Barry “Almighty” and “Dingy” Harry, not Bush. The Tea Party must see to that. Because as much as “Dingy” would love to continue to blame our current economic and fiscal calamity that we have in this country on Bush and the Republicans, the fact of matter is that it can be traced directly to the twisted philosophy of “Dingy” and his fellow Democrats, devoted Keynesians who see the only problem as being one in which the failed “stimulus” just wasn't big enough. "I had $100 billion in infrastructure development in the bill, but I needed three Republican votes. Arlen Specter, Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins made me get rid of it." If he’s trying to convince me that these three RINOs were in anyway Tea Party supported, he’s more of a dishonest idiot that even I thought. These three are about as far removed from demonstrating the desires of the Tea Party as is every single Democrat. Even though I was a Democrat before I was a Republican before I was a Democrat again Arlen Specter is gone, we’ve still got the other two morons to contend with.


Much to the chagrin of old “Dingy” and his fellow Democrats, including, of course, Barry “Almighty,” I think they are all going to be more than a bit disappointed if they think that the Tea Party folks are going to simply fade away anytime soon. We want our country back, and we will settle for nothing less. And until we are successful in our attempt to wrestle control of away from these corrupt politicians like “Dingy” and Barry, we are very much here to stay and have no intention of going anywhere. It will not be us who will be made to go quietly off into the night but, instead, it must be those who are seen as being so desperate in their efforts to destroy our country. It is they who must be forced into the wilderness until they are able to achieve the proper level of respect for the power granted to them by “We the people.” They must learn to abide by our Constitution as it was written, not as how they wish it had been written. These Democrats are a very dangerous bunch and they are very much in need of being reeled in. They have lost their respect of the people and are very much in need of being taught a lesson.
