So here we are seven long years after first being subjected
to what was Barry’s very first State of the Union (SOTU). And I find it difficult to fathom just how
much worse off our country has become since Barry’s first appearance before a
joint session of Congress. And in
looking back at all that has taken place since then, who could have ever possibly
imagined all of the amount of damage that would come to take place here in
these Unites States? Now granted, while
it can be said, to some degree, that Barry was far from being alone in
inflicting that damage, having had plenty of help along the way from those in
both political parties, he has also taken great pains to circumvent those in
Congress whenever he thought he could get away with it.
And needless to say, I doubt that this final SOTU
will address how much our nation’s debt has been made to grow, how much health
insurance premiums have risen, how much we’ve degraded our military, how much
Islamic terrorism has increased globally and domestically, or how many more
Americans have been dropped out of the workforce, are now in poverty and living
on food stamps. I doubt we’ll hear
anything about how artificial our economy truly is, as reflected by the
horrible response on Wall Street in the first week of 2016. We’ll hear nothing
about how the increased level of taxation, regulation and bureaucratic administrative
state rules have had a detrimental effect on businesses, resulting in an anemic
annualized GDP.
And so it is then that the United States has now begun
the eighth, and final, year under the leadership of the most liberal of
Democrat presidents to ever occupy the Oval Office. Furthermore, this president had control of one
or both houses of Congress for his first six years in office. Thus it’s
entirely accurate to state that the policy results in America today are the direct
result of Democrat Party rule. And with that said, has all this implementation
of Democrat ideology and policy benefited the poor, made fewer poor, and been
detrimental to the wealthy similarly making less of them as well? That would be – NO! Any yet there remains in this country a
sizable number of people who would like to see the trend continue by electing
Hitlery.
Just the opposite has occurred, because during the
last seven years of Barry’s presidency that the rich have gotten very much richer,
while the poor have gotten considerably poorer.
And yet we are constantly being told how it is that it’s the Democrat Party
that is the party that “helps” the poor and that “cares about” the poor. A more appropriate way of looking at it would
be to say, “Obama so loves the poor he’s made millions more of them.” In 2012 the federal government (re)defined
poverty as an annual income of $23,492 for a family of four. Today the number of Americans now living in
poverty is not only alarmingly high, but it has persisted at rates that have not
seen before in the post-Depression era.
In fact, it’s according to data published by the
U.S. Census Bureau and U.S. Dept. of Labor in the first five years of Barry’s
presidency, the number of Americans living at or below the federal poverty line
was 39.8 million in 2008. And in 2009
that number went to 43.6 million, in 2011 it was up to 46.2 million, in 2012 it
remained at 46.2 million, but in 2013 it grew again, this time up to 46.5
million. Numbers for 2014 are now in,
and it’s not pretty. Now 50 million Americans living beneath the poverty line.
Under Barry “Almighty” the poverty level in America has broken a 50-year
record. Could this possibly be what
Barry meant by his 2008 mantra of “Hope and Change?” If so, “Hope and Change” came to more closely
resemble “Hoax and Chains!”
And as the number of poor and impoverished continues
to swell, the number of those receiving some form of means-tested welfare has
been rising just as rapidly. The number of Americans on federal welfare
assistance has climbed every single year since Barry’s very first State of the
Union. Under Barry the number of
Americans on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program; formerly and
often still referred to as “food stamps”) has also grown to and remained at
record-setting levels. We now have roughly 100 million American on some form of
government welfare as well as 100 million of federal disability. And as of last summer there were an
astonishing 46,225,054 U.S. residents were on food stamps.
And what about all those evil rich? Those greedy 1
percenters? If the Republican Party is,
in fact, the party of the rich then wouldn’t it stand to reason that the rich
should be faring much poorly during this time of Barry’s regime? Buy oddly enough that doesn’t quite seem to
be the case. The truth is that the past
six years have been very, very kind to the rich and ultra-rich here in
America. Because you see Barry’s
presidency has fostered what can only be described as an explosion in the
number of millionaires within our borders and has also successfully bloated the
bank accounts of the ‘already-millionaires’ in ways the Bush presidency could
never have imagined. Or, if we’re being honest, any other presidency for that
matter.
According to non-partisan wealth research and data
firm WealthInsight, America added 1,000 millionaires per day or 1.1 million new
millionaires during the first three years of Barry’s presidency. The pace for those entering the
‘now-we’re-rich’ ranks has not relented in the three years hence. And those at the top of the
‘already-filthy-rich-and-getting-richer’ pile have fared even better. Though he
loves delivering swelling messages about the poor and middle classes and the
need for government to do more to ‘help’ those struggling millions, the facts
are that while the lower classes continue to miser away on penny-pinching
budgets, the economy on Barry’s watch has heaped huge windfalls on the
already-rich and super rich.
Barry’s economy has brought about the most number of
households that report a net worth of five million dollar or more in U.S.
history and also the largest number of households to report net worth of twenty
five million or more. The rich are getting very rich. According to CNN Money the number of
households in the United States that have seen a net worth of one million
dollars or more stood at 9.63 million in 2013, up by 600,000 from 2012. At
2008, the end of George W. Bush’s presidency, the millionaires’ list stood at a
now-paltry 6.7 million. In 2014 Barry’s economy created 496,945 new millionaires.
That’s one year alone! Crony-capitalism has been allow to run rampant one
Barry’s watch.
Seven years of an uber-liberal presidency has not
helped the poor and lower classes nor has it harmed the rich and upper classes.
It has done the exact opposite. We now have more poor and impoverished,
historically high numbers of them; and we now have more wealthy folks with
money to burn, historically high numbers of them too. So where does the notion
of “Democrats are the party of the poor” and “Republicans are the party of the
rich” come from? Well, if you repeat
anything often enough, and loud enough before long it comes to be regarded as
truth. Add to that the willingness of far too many Americans to simply accept
at face value whatever it is that they are told then, my friends, what you is a
recipe for disaster like the one we’re living.
I wish I could say that there is cause for
celebration that this country has actually been able to survive until finally
have come to Barry’s final State of the Union.
But there is very little reason to celebrate because much of the damage
that Barry has done may very well prove to be irreparable. Barry came into office as a man on a mission,
that mission being, as you may very well recall, to "fundamentally transform" the United States of America. And in
many ways he achieved a very impressive level of success in that endeavor. And it is in looking back over the course of
the last seven years that should provide to us a certain level of wisdom and
insight when it comes to considering the possibility of Hitlery Clinton as our
next president.
