***KOOK ALERT***KOOK ALERT*** |
This new ‘Ebola’ strategy was first deployed just today coming in the form of what is a rather dishonest, and albeit distasteful, little video released by a Democrat Party front group that’s been around since 2010. Apparently it’s to be the opening salvo in a "blitzkrieg" of attacks on GOP congressional spending cuts on programs that, or so it’s implied, could have been used to fund overseas health efforts that ‘might’ have helped stop the killer virus. But I’d be curious to find out which Republican it was that authorized those infected to come to America. I could be wrong, but believe it was Barry who gave the green-light for that, wasn’t it?
Anyway, it was some leftwing kook, and supposed author, by the name of Erica Payne who actually said, "Like rabid dogs in a butcher shop, Republicans have indiscriminately shredded everything in their path, including critical programs that could have dealt with the Ebola crisis before it reached our country. Yesterday, a health worker tested positive for the virus-- now, the effects of the GOP's fanatical hatred for our government may finally be exposed." Talk about someone being a rabid dog, this ‘bitch’ sounds like someone who is on the verge of coming completely unhinged!
Ms. Payne, besides appearing to be someone who is more than a little crazy, as is typical for those on the left, is not only the president of, but is also the proud founder of something called Agenda Project Action Fund. And it’s this organization that serves as being the vehicle by which she works to advance what is a blatantly progressive political ‘agenda’. This particular video features clips of Mitch McConnell, Pat Roberts, and many other Republicans and implies that austerity cuts to the National Institute of Health (NIH), the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and in foreign aid that are what’s responsible for the Ebola outbreak.
She said in a statement: "In launching this effort, we will be the first major progressive group to directly blame GOP budget cuts for the nearly 4,000 deaths caused by the Ebola crisis. Our hope is that this ad and the accompanying report will spark a national conversation about the utter stupidity of the GOP's approach to government policy. Clearly, a party that despises government will purposefully underfund it, while a party that fundamentally understands the positive role of government will ensure it functions effectively. We hope this ad will begin to establish the idea that only those who understand government should be allowed to run it."
Obviously Ms. Payne is someone who is more than just a bit nutty, as are most those of her political persuasion. Because when you’re a country that’s already nearly $18 Trillion debt, you no longer have the luxury of spending money on even the most worthiest of causes. And it’s been those who Ms. Payne so energetically supports who have done the most to get us into a fiscal predicament that we, nor our children, may never be able to recover from. And yet she’s demanding that we spend even more. And as much as she, and her kind, may wish that it weren’t so, there’s no escaping the fact that this country is now broke.
And it is imbecilic kooks like Ms. Payne who, for what are purely political reasons, refuse to accept that very obvious fact. And while I feel sorry for all of those being made to suffer, it is completely inexcusable to allow ANYONE who might have been exposed to this deadly disease, entry into this country. And the fault for allowing that to take place cannot be laid at the doorstep of any Republican. And yet, the Agenda Project Action Fund plans to run the ads -- that also feature images of Sens. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul on TV stations in Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, and South Dakota.
