PELOSI DECLARES ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’ IS TO BLAME FOR CHAOS AT THE BORDER, NOT *PRESIDENT ‘CREEPY JOE!!!’


Apparently, the Democrats would like us all to believe that the ONLY reason tens of thousands of illegal immigrants are now swarming across our southern border is because they’re supposedly seeking refuge from that “existential threat” known as ‘climate change.’ Who knew? This despite the fact, and contrary to what is spewed by those on the left, it has yet to be determined if ‘climate change’ even occurring. And keep in mind here, that it’s the very same people now making this imbecilic claim who also just so happen to be the very same ones who have spent the last several decades sounding the alarm with none of their doomsday scenarios ever materializing.  

Which brings me to none other than that political relic, that decrepit old fossil, that despicable liar who is our less than impressive Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi. You see it was Pelosi, just this past Sunday during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” hosted by faux ‘journalist’ George ‘Stephy’ Stephanopoulos, who said that ‘climate change’ has contributed to the surge of migrant children crossing the U.S.-Mexico border. Now anyone with a brain, which does not include ‘Stephy’ would have immediately called out Pelosi on the boldness of her lie. But ‘Stephy’, being the fair-minded, objective ‘journalist’ that he his, just sat there nodding in agreement.

And so according to Pelosi, “There are more children, about 600, 700 more children, unaccompanied children coming over the border. This is a humanitarian challenge to all of us. What the administration has inherited is a broken system at the border, and they are working to correct that in the children’s interest. I’m so pleased that the president, as a temporary measure, has sent FEMA to the border to help facilitate the children going from one 72-hour issue where they are cared for as they are transferred into family homes or homes that are safe for them to be. So this, again, is a transition for what was wrong before to what is right.”

And Pelosi then went on to say, “Of course, we have to also look to Central America, Mexico, and the rest. The corruption, the violence, all of that.” She added, “My most recent trip to the northern triangle, that would be Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador. You saw the impact of climate change. These people were leaving because of the drought. They couldn’t farm, and they were seeking other ways to survive. There are many reasons to go into this, but the fact we have to deal with it at the border, and some of the people coming there are seeking asylum. I always like to quote our friends in the Evangelical movement.” What a crock of unmitigated political BS!

Pelosi finished up by saying, “At one of our hearings, we had before the majority of the representatives said to us. The United States refugee resettlement program is the crowned jewel of American humanitarianism. So we have certain responsibilities that we must honor. We have to have a system that accommodates that, and that is what the Biden administration is in the process of doing.” “The crowned jewel of American humanitarianism?” What a bunch of leftwing political gibberish. And ‘Stephy’ just kinda sat there. And it was anyone who might have been watching these two that was likely left wondering which of these two morons is the more worthless scumbag.

The true ‘humanitarian crisis’ is the fact that America now finds itself pretty much under the complete control of the mentally deficient, morally bankrupt and blatantly corrupt Democrats. And as we have continued to hear for decades there is not a calamity that takes place anywhere on the globe that Democrats cannot, in their own unique way, declare that were it not for ‘climate change’ said calamity would never have occurred. So we shouldn’t be surprised to now be hearing from Pelosi, and any number of other Democrats, how the current fiasco taking place at our southern border is somehow related to what the Democrats view as an “existential threat.”

Pelosi continues to claim how *president ‘Creepy Joe’ somehow inherited a “broken immigration system.” But how is that working to stop illegal immigrants and drugs from coming across our southern border by building a big wall and using such polices as the remain in Mexico policy, is in any way a broken system? Our immigration system is NOT broken! We have fair laws and a great immigration system! The issue comes down to whether or not those laws are going to be enforced. People are now routinely breaking our laws with no fear of being made to suffer any consequences for doing do. And they are being encouraged and enabled to so by Democrats, like Pelosi.

So we’re supposed to believe that all of the chaos now taking place that our southern border has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the ineptness of those who *president ‘Creepy Joe’ has put in charge of the situation. Have you ever seen people who were more clueless? And now we have the dimwit who is the ‘leader’ of the U.S. House saying that it’s all because of ‘climate change?’ It’s just all so bizarre. And it’s very few in the media who ever challenge any of these morons on the idiocy of their statements. Imagine if we had a media that was only interested in the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. How different would things be today?

NANCY PELOSI, A FEW BRICKS SHORT OF A LOAD…


If there is anyone out there who is still not convinced of just how delusional, even demented, Nancy Pelosi actually is, then I would think that any and all doubt has now been removed, and very thoroughly so, after she recently made the ridiculous declaration that Obamacare, equal pay, and Barry “Almighty’s” executive action on immigration are fulfilling the Founding Fathers’ vision from the Declaration of Independence about “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness,” and that such legal and executive steps were “honoring the vows of our Founders.”  That has to be the most bizarre statement that I have ever heard come from the mouth of Ms. Pelosi.

It came while Pelosi was speaking at the Department of Labor, you know that very honest and trustworthy part of the government tasked with coming up with, each and every month, what has essentially become not much more than the equivalent to a running joke that we’re supposed to believe is the accurate portrayal of this country’s unemployment situation.  Apparently she was there to mark something called, National Equal Pay Day.  Pelosi said, “The strength of America” is “families, and that means empowering moms and dads. It means what we did with the Affordable Care Act.”  You know, that which we needed to pass before being able to see what was in it.

This refugee from a carnival freak show continued by saying, “Our founders, they said life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Imagine, they put that in a founding document: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. So, all of this with health care and all the related issues, equal pay, all of that, give people a life, a healthier life to pursue their happiness.”  I always get a bit of kick out whenever I hear these rabid progressives talking about our Founding Fathers or our founding documents as if they actually knew anything about these men or have ever actually read any of the documents that they profess to hold so near and dear to their hearts.

It’s the Declaration of Independence that Ms. Pelosi states, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  And Pelosi veered off into the weeds as she went on to tell those assembled, “The liberty, the freedom, money gives you freedom but liberty to pursue their happiness.”   She added, “So we are honoring the vows of our Founders when we do this. This is what they had in mind that every generation would take responsibility to make the future better for the next.”

Pelosi called this “the American dream,” continuing, “people flock to our shores, that invigoration made America the greatest country that has ever existed in the history of the world and will continue to.”  But she neglects to mention that those who used to flock to this country did so in order to take advantage of the freedoms that were available, now days immigrants flock here not to find opportunity, but instead to take advantage of all manner of taxpayer funded giveaways and to then turn around to vote for Democrats who promise to keep the giveaways going?

She said, “That’s why we had to fight hard on Homeland Security so that they could not erase what the president did on immigration because that’s what America is.”  She then said, “Every immigrant who comes here with hopes, dreams, aspirations, courage, determination to make the future better for the next generation honors the values of our founders, they make America more American.”  The event, to honor Equal Pay Day, is held to symbolize how far into the year women must work to earn what men earned in the previous year based on the long ago debunked statistic that women on average earn 77 percent what men do.

Look, this is just another example of the drivel that we are going to be hearing a lot more of as the 2016 election gets nearer.  And I shouldn’t have to tell anyone that there is very little doubt that this next presidential election is likely to be a very defining one when it comes to where our country goes from here.  Because what it’s going to tell us is to what degree it is that the American people have now chosen to give up on this little experiment in human freedom called America.  We’ll find out if they would rather be told what to do and when to do it by those in power, or if they would rather decide for themselves what to do and if they even ‘want’ to do it.

NANCY PELOSI…LIVIN’ IN A DREAM WORLD…


Sometimes I ‘almost’, I say almost, feel sorry for old Nancy. Because apparently the old girl continues to possess what can only be described as delusions of grandeur as she insists upon living out what is nothing more than the dream of hers, while it would be a nightmare for the rest of us, of once again becoming Speaker of House before finally moving on from this Earth and once again being reunited with the many icons of her party who, these day, find themselves whiling away eternity tending to the furnaces of Hell. Which, as we all know, is where every self-respecting Democrat eventually ends up.

Anyway, I say that it’s nothing more than a dream of hers because it would seem that with each passing day the odds that she will actually become Speaker again become less and less likely. But be that as it may, Pelosi continues to live in a state of obvious denial. Even the fact that six Democrats have now said that this year will be their last in Congress, Pelosi remains ever so confidence in her party’s ability to retake the lower chamber in this November's elections. She even went so far as to say, "Our Democratic retirements do not relate in any way to our prospects for winning." Oh really? Hmmmm.

And it was just this week that we heard from three more Democrats who have said that they will be resigning. The three include her longtime California colleague, Rep. George Miller, who announced on Monday that he was not seeking re-election after 40 years on Capitol Hill. The other two were Rep. Jim Moran of Virginia, who said on Wednesday that he was quitting after 24 years, and Rep. Bill Owens of New York. Owens said on Tuesday that he was not seeking re-election after only two terms. But Pelosi does not seem to be the least bit concerned. In fact, she remains quite defiant in spite of her odds.

Pelosi said that these "personal and family decisions" would not affect the midterm elections, going on to claim that fundraising and recruitment were more likely to have an impact on the coming election. And in referring to Miller and Moran, Pelosi said,"They are, generationally, in the same place, ready for another chapter in life." And she went on to say, "It's not about whether we win the House; it's about their family decisions." Actually, what I think it is, is that they see the writing on the wall and would rather leave on their own terms than to take the chance on suffering a rather embarrassing defeat.

Other Democrats announcing their retirements last week include Reps. Jim Matheson of Utah and Mike McIntyre of North Carolina, and Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, also of New York. What might have helped Matheson and McIntyre come to their decision is the fact that they both represent heavily Republican districts. I think we can safely say that most likely they’re nothing more than casualties of Obamacare. Pelosi also made note of the fact that 10 Republicans are also retiring in the House, and used that fact to bolster her prediction that Democrats will, in fact, win back control of the House.

And in doing her best to sound ever so confident, she also said, "We've seriously outraised the Republicans." Adding, "But more important than that is the caliber of candidates that we have running. They're spectacular." And then in what I’m not quite sure was an attempt to convince herself or perhaps others within earshot, she said, "Democrats are optimistic about our prospects." And again went on to say, "And we've met all of our critical imperatives for where we need to be on a path to victory." Being optimistic is one thing, but simply being foolhardy is something altogether different.

Pelosi's comments brought doomsday predictions from more than a few Republicans. Daniel Scarpinato, a spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee said, "We know Nancy Pelosi doesn’t think we have a spending problem, but now she’s really in denial." He went on to say, "Losing two Democrat incumbents in two of the most Republican districts in the nation is the worst-case scenario for Pelosi’s dreams of becoming Speaker of the House again." But even if the Republicans do increase their numbers in the House, it’s more by default than because of anything that they’ve done.

NANCY SAYS, "I AM NOT A CROOK!"


House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi has now fired back at CBS News' "60 Minutes" regarding a report that highlighted several instances of what it suggested could be, at the very least, "soft corruption." The show looked at the investments of various lawmakers who reportedly bought stocks around the same time legislation involving those investments was being discussed. Pelosi and her husband participated in an initial public offering of Visa in 2008, according to CBS. They bought 5,000 shares at the initial price of $44; two days later, shares were trading at $64, CBS said. The network reported the investment came at the same time a piece of legislation that was opposed by credit-card companies was making its way through the House. Come on folks, this was all nothing more than one of those crazy coincidences just like that cattle futures thing a few years back that netted Hitlery Clinton a cool 100 grand.



"Congress has never done more for consumers nor has the Congress passed more critical reforms of the credit card industry than under the Speakership of Nancy Pelosi," Pelosi spokesman, Drew Hammill, said in a statement soon after the report aired Sunday night. Doing his best to sound shocked that such an allegation could be made against such a "pure as the wind-driven snow" individual as Ms. "Stretch" Pelosi, Mr. Hammill, in typical Democrat fashion, was more interested in shooting the messenger. "It is very troubling that 60 Minutes would base their reporting off of an already-discredited conservative author who has made a career of out attacking Democrats," he added. Why is it that anyone who dares to reveal the blatant dishonesty of Democrats is always cast as being some kook with a vendetta. Democrats are always to be considered as being above reproach and as honest as the day is long.


CBS said it used as a starting point for its story the research of Peter Schweizer, a fellow at the Hoover Institution, a conservative think tank at Stanford University. About a year ago, he began work on a book about "soft corruption" in Washington, CBS reported. The network said it had independently verified the material it used. Pelosi's spokesman criticized the CBS story for failing to note that the "legislation in question was reported out of the Judiciary Committee on October 3, 2008, the day the House was consumed in passing TARP and also the last day the House was in session before the November election." Sounds to me like someone might have struck a nerve here. Me thinks she does protest too much? However, as much as I hate to say this, this network does have a rather questionable history when it come to properly "verifying" material. I'm sure we all remember the Dan Rather fiasco.


Also according to Ms. Pelosi's man, Hammill, the story, as presented, also failed to note that in September 2008, the House passed the Credit Cardholders' Bill of Rights. "In the next Congress, the House and Senate passed and President Obama signed the Credit Cardholders' Bill of Rights and the Dodd-Frank legislation, which included a stronger, more direct approach to addressing swipe fees," Hammill said. I'm not really sure what this fella is trying to say here, unless it's nothing more than another very weak attempt to continue to portray Ms. Pelosi as being on the side of we, the little people. This bitch is nothing but a pathetic fraud. Just another one of those "do as I say, not as I do" Democrats. It would be funny if it weren't so serious that every time you have the nerve to accuse a Democrat of wrong doing the squeal like stuck pigs. This current batch of Democrats is the most corrupt to come along in quite some time.

NANCY SPENDS MORE TIME TALKING OUT HER BUTT...


    

FACT: Since Barry "Almighty" signed his $825 billion economic stimulus plan into law in February 2009, the national unemployment rate has risen from 8.2 percent to 9.1 percent. It did not ever go below the 8 percent that was promised by Barry "Almighty," but did spend some time up over 10 percent.



But always the ardent defender of our illustrious president, and demonstrating yet again that she is very obviously living in some alternate universe, House Minority Leader Nancy "Ms. Botox" Pelosi said at her press briefing Thursday that if the stimulus had not been enacted the unemployment rate would now be 15 percent. But I'm more than a little curious, on just what does she base that assertion? Is she clairvoyant? Did she just pick that number out of thin air? I mean, as most of us already know, or at least should know, the real unemployment rate is nowhere near 9 percent, the current official number being bandied about as if it accurately portrays the massive, Barry inspired, unemployment situation that we have in this country. The actual unemployment rate has bee over 16 percent for some time, and it's even worse for blacks, so I'm not really sure what old "Stretch" is talking about, nor am I all that sure if she knows herself.


Anyway, it was at some press briefing only about a month ago that Ms. "Stretch" Pelosi made the idiotic, and completely unsubstantiated, claim that if Barry's stimulus not been enacted unemployment would have reached 14.5 percent by the time of the November 2010 elections. "I think it’s really important to know that President Obama was a job creator from day one," Pelosi said at her Thursday briefing. "Now, was the ditch that we were in so deep that when you’re talking to people and they still don’t have a job, that that’s any consolation to them? No." “But I’ll tell you this,” said old "Stretch", “if President Obama and the House congressional Democrats had not acted, we would be at 15 percent unemployment. Again, no consolation to those without a job, but an important point to make." The fact that old "Stretch" cold actually make the statement that Barry "was a job creator from day one," and with a straight face no less, goes a long way in proving the lengths Democrats will go to deceive.


At her October 6 briefing, old "Stretch" made pretty much the same claim saying, “Without the Recovery Act and accompanying federal interventions, whether from the Fed or ‘Cash for Clunkers’ or other initiatives, this unemployment rate last year at the time of the election would’ve been 14.5 percent, not 9.5 percent.” Now a report published by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) in August estimated that in the fourth quarter of 2011, the stimulus signed by Barry "Almighty" in 2009 would have the impact of reducing the national unemployment rate between 0.3 points to 1.1 points from what it otherwise would have been. The report also said that although CBO initially estimated that the stimulus would cost $787 billion, CBO had subsequently increased its estimated cost to $825 billion. So as the cost to taxpayers went up, the results of this supposed stimulus not only did not reduce the unemployment rate, but it could not prevent unemployment from going as high as 10.2 percent.


Also according to the CBO report, who must be using the same crystal ball as is Ms. "Stretch," since I'm not sure how else they can make such a claim, 600,000 to 2 million people have jobs as of now that were either "created or retained" because of the $825 billion stimulus. Ok, let's just say, for the sake of argument, that the maximum number of 2 million is the accepted number. What that works out to is essentially a cost of $412,500 per job. If, on the other hand, the minimum number of 600,000 is the accepted number, that works out to a cost of $1,375,000 per job. How is that in anyway a responsible use of taxpayer money? As has been said many times by people much smarter than me, it is a fact that the government cannot create jobs in the private sector. All that it can do is to make the conditions right for job creation and that actually encourage that job growth to take place. And in that respect alone, I think Barry can very safely be judged as being an abysmal failure.

THE RAVINGS OF THAT NOT SO RARE BIRD, THE SAN FRANCISCO LOON...


Ya know, just when I think I've heard just about every stupid statement that could ever be uttered by a moron on the left, along comes ex-speaker "Botox" Pelosi to prove me wrong yet again. Because it was while she was speaking at some news conference on workers rights, that Ms. Pelosi (D-Calif.) claimed that those evil Republicans are using the budget deficit as a way to “destroy your rights” and “undermine the government.” Now really, who besides her fellow psychotic malcontents out there on edge of reality is really going to believe this drivel? “This isn’t just about they’re saying we should reduce the deficit. We all want to be fiscally sound. We don’t want to do harm to our economic growth but we know that if we can save some money, we’d like to do that. This isn’t about that,” said Pelosi, alongside Reps. George Miller (D-Calif.), Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) and Harold A. Schaitberger, the President of International Association of Fire Fighters during a news conference at the Capitol on Tuesday.



So what is it about, you may ask? Well Ms. Pelosi goes on to tell us that, “This is an excuse – a budget deficit is an excuse for the Republicans to undermine government – plain and simple. They don’t just want to make cuts; they want to destroy. They want to destroy food safety, clean air, clean water, the Department of Education. They want to destroy your rights. They do not like government.” But there was more as Ms. Pelosi continued her imbecilic rant, “They’re riding an engine of popular support on ‘okay, we have to reduce the deficit’ and they’re using that as an excuse to destroy.” This bitch really ought be transported to the nearest rubber room, because she very clearly has gone round the proverbial bend. Her grasp on reality is very tenuous at best, as she goes about the grabbing of straws in her attempt to paint the Republicans as being the bad guys in all of this.


The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) projects that the federal budget deficit will reach $1.5 trillion by the end of the fiscal year 2011. The current national debt limit is $14.29 trillion. Ms. Pelosi and her trusty sidekick at the time, George Miller, criticized House Republicans for considering the "Protecting Job from Government Interference Act" which would prevent the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) from “ordering any employer to close, relocate, or transfer employment under any circumstance.” The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers distributed a statement to reporters at the conference urging members of Congress to vote against the legislation because it would prevent the NLRB from continuing legal action against the Boeing Corporation for moving an assembly line to South Carolina. The NLRB, which should have long ago simply been done away with, has now very obviously been hijacked by Barry and his zealots that presently serve on the board that in all realty has come to serve no useful purpose.


Pelosi said Republicans “vision” of America is not “one of fairness” to American workers. “The Speaker has said between him and the President, they have a different vision of America – and that’s how come their budget proposals are different, quite different. Maylon [Mitchell, President of Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin] said it over and over again about shared sacrifice. We get the sacrifice; they share the wealth. That’s what it is.” She continued, “They [Republicans] have a different vision of America and that vision of America is not one of fairness to Americans – American workers. They fear you because of their desire to have endless wealth and not take any responsibility for helping to grow the country that helped them succeed.” BLAH, BLAH, BLAH!!! Yes, above all else we must have fairness.
Pelosi did not take questions at the conference. No shit. Really?
