‘COMMIE CHRIS’ WALLASS, A FAN OF ‘NANNY MIKE’ BLOOMBERG???

So according to one who views himself as an expert on all thing involving politics, ‘Commie Chris’ Wallass, it’s many Republicans who have now confided in him their concerns about how 2020 Democrat presidential candidate Michael ‘Nanny Mike’ Bloomberg would be a tough opponent for President Trump.  But I find myself wondering what self-respecting Republican would relay such concerns to a blatant ‘fake newser’ like Wallass?  Granted I’m sure there are plenty of RINOs willing to spread all manner of rumor that ‘Commie Chris’ would be only too happy to repeat.

Anyway, it was this past Friday that Wallass said, “The war of words between the president and Michael Bloomberg is quite astonishing. President getting some advice from people who support him, don’t go after Bloomberg because you are the president so all you do by attacking him is elevating him.”  He continued, “There are a lot of Republicans, Republicans yes who think Bloomberg is the toughest guy you could face. One because he’s got an even bigger campaign war chest than you do. Number two because he’s a relative moderate.”  Bloomberg, a “relative moderate?”

Wallass then went on to say “There are some comments coming out but they are conservative comments or even potentially explosive on the right in terms of stop and frisk and redlining. Very hard to paint billionaire Michael Bloomberg as a socialist. So there is a lot of questions inside of the Republican Party. Do you really want to elevate Michael Bloomberg, because he could be a tough candidate in the fall.”  And does being the toughest guy in this crowd really mean all that much?  And it’s not how much money one has that determines if one is a socialist, it’s the policies he supports! 

So let’s just say there is some level of truth to Wallass’ claim, I have absolutely no doubt that Wallass has likely been talking to those usual suspects of the ‘NeverTrump’ movement.  The Establishment Republicans and their consultants who backed Jeb, and NeverTrumpers like Kasich, Flake and Willard/Mitt/Pierre Delecto all of whom are likely jealous of President Trump’s success. What do they know?  Nothing. Disregard everything Wallass and these losers say about President Trump. That's the best advice this Main Streeter will give you about the NeverTrumper crowd. Pathetic losers ALL.

And by the way, what exactly does it take to be a ‘journalist’ these days?  I could just as easily say that “a lot of Republicans think Chris Wallass is a political hack.”  And what the heck does “a lot of Republicans” mean?  Hundreds? 5%? 50%?  Wallass has said this only because he’s hates the president and seeks to stir the pot.  Wallass has been on the hate Trump bandwagon going back to before Donald Trump won the election.  And his hatred of the president has only seemed to intensify over time.  To the point where his bias against the president comes through in everything he says.

But Wallass is far from the only Trump hater there at ‘Fox News,’ I could list them all here but why bother, it’s far easier to just list those who are not haters of Trump and that would be Carlson, Hannity and Ingraham.  And Tucker Carlson is the only one I go out of my way to watch.  As I think I have mentioned before how over the years I’ve gone from where Fox was on my TV from the time I got home from work to the time I went to bed, but no longer. These days I spend more time watching OAN Network because Fox got to where it was sounding more and more like CNN and/or MSDNC. 

Unlike ‘Commie Chris’ I’m not sure whether Bloomberg is the best hope the Democrats have to go up against President Trump or not.  But he’s certainly no dummy, but’s he’s also, in his effort to gain the nomination, revealing himself to be anything by a moderate.  He’s big on ‘climate change’ and on gutting the Second Amendment.  While I’m confident that President Trump would have little difficulty in beating him, President Trump can still not afford to become complacent and nor think he can just coast to reelection.  Never be complacent. Always be on offense.

Bloomberg has nothing but disrespect for American voters by constantly alluding to buying the Presidency by outspending everyone else and not earning it.  He did the same thing when he ran for mayor.  He comes late to the party, right on the cusp of an emerging nominee, posing as the opposite, but he is as far left as is any of those who make up the competition. He’s really no different than any of the others in that he will promise you anything just to get you to vote for him.  Bloomberg is a fraud, a wealthy fraud, but still a fraud, and he cares very little for the common people.

It doesn’t say much, really, that Bloomberg may be the best hope Democrats have, nothing says success like claiming to be the best LOSER among a group of LOSERS!  All this little anti-America piece of crap has going for him is MONEY!  His policies are horrible. He desire for control is above everyone else in this clown car. And his respect and understanding of our Constitution is the lowest of all the Democrats.  He thinks we are all just too stupid and irresponsible to determine their own lives, so he needs to be the one to decide for us because he is just that smart!

If money actually did buy elections then Hitlery would today be president and not Donald Trump because she outspent Trump by over 2 to 1.  It is clear that Bloomberg wants to buy the election for himself and all the power that he can gain from it. How do we know that? It’s simple really, because he is using all the power that his massive wealth provides to him to quite literally buy the presidency.  We’re told that the left hates the rich and yet it would seem that in their desire to defeat the president Democrats seem willing to overlook Bloomberg’s status as an evil ‘1 percenter.’

Bloomberg is a creepy, evil figure, but with the Democrat now allowing him to buy his way into this contest, there's really nothing to rein in his promotional machine. Especially once the media dutifully gets on board.  It’s the very definition of polishing a turd, but with enough media buy, his face will be everywhere we turn. And if there's one thing we know about that big, critical swath of American voters called who call themselves ‘Independents’ it’s that they aren’t particularly deep thinkers. They sit back and listen to those like Wallass, nodding in agreement, uninterested in the truth.

THE THREAT WE FACE FROM THE RABID FINANCIERS OF PROGRESSIVISM IS VERY REAL…

What is it with these holier-than-thou, leftwing wacko billionaires like ‘Nanny Mike’ Bloomberg, ‘Douche-Bag Tom’ Steyer and the king of all Democrat sugardaddys, George Soros?  What is it, exactly, that seems to make them think that just because they have all this money, and a very obvious, deep-seated hatred of America as well, that their wealth somehow entitles them to be able to dictate to the rest of us, or manipulate through the tactical use of their great wealth, how the rest of us should be made to live?  And all under the guise of combating something referred to as ‘climate change/global warming/climate disruption’, and that does not even exist!    

The latest example of just how out of control these egomaniacal leftwing lunatics really are, comes by way of ex- New York City Mayor, ‘Nanny Mike’, a left wing kook, who at a press briefing at the Sierra Club in Washington, D.C. just this past Wednesday, announced that he would be contributing $30 million to the Club’s “Beyond Coal” campaign, which is designed to shut down the nation’s coal plants. The $30 million is in addition to the $50 million ‘Nanny Mike’ already gave to the campaign, which has also changed its initial goal of shutting down 1/3 of the country’s coal plants by 2020 to shuttering 50 percent of the plants by 2017.

Michael Brune, who, while being the executive director of the Sierra Club, is also another one of those fanatical environmentalist kooks who resides somewhere in the faraway nether-regions of the radical left-wing kook fringe, thanked all of the “coal fighters” who attended the event, telling them it was “because of you” that the campaign launched in 2011 has already succeeded in the “retirement” or “repurposing” of 187 coal plants in the United States.  To have such a thing as your stated mission strikes me as being nothing more than borderline psychotic.  What sort of twisted mentality must be possessed for such a statement to even be made?

And then we had Mikey Bloomberg, who said, “Beyond Coal is taking our country in the right direction.”  To which this recent escapee from a rubber room then added, “It’s the direction that will help our community, not hurt it, because the price of pollution and environmental damage has suffered our economy as well as our lives.”  He went on to say, “Saying that we’re destroying jobs in the coal mining industry is not quite as bad, not quite as true as people would want you to believe.”   And while never explaining how it is that destroying coal jobs is positive, he did say, “But we are adding jobs in other industries.”  Which industries might he be speaking of, I wonder?

In demonstrating the fact that he is truly quite delusional, Mikey said, “And we are saving lives and I think that’s what’s really important.”  And he went on to say, “Instead of protecting an industry that will continue shrinking because of technology and because of less demand, elected officials should be making investments that will help people find jobs and build careers in industries that will continue growing.”  And he very proudly declared, “Coal’s days are numbered.”  To have such a thing as being your objective is something that most Americans, I think, would not be all that supportive of.  And yet, that remains the goal of these zealots.

Jason Hayes, associate director of the American Coal Council, states that ‘Nanny Mike’s’ claim of the benefits of stopping coal production ignores the cost to tens of thousands of American workers.  Mr. Hayes said, “Tens of thousands of people are being put out of work, and even worse is that they’re bragging about it.”  And he added, “That, to me, is fundamentally sick: to brag about putting people out of work.”  He said, "One wonders if the Sierra Club is going to put any of Mr. Bloomberg’s multimillion dollar gifts to work helping these miners and families get retrained, or to help them pay their bills.”  “Or will they continue to enjoy their six- (or more) figure salaries and comfortable homes while they continue their campaigns to put more American miners out of work and shut down America’s industry? I think we both know the answer to that question."

According to the federal Energy Information Administration, coal is an “abundant” energy resource in the United States.  The agency state on its website that, “The United States is home to the largest estimated recoverable reserves of coal in the world.”  And it goes on to say, “In fact, we have enough estimated recoverable reserves of coal to last more than 200 years, based on current production levels.”  And adds, “Coal is produced in 25 states spread across three major coal-producing regions,” the website states. “In 2013, approximately 70% of production originated in five states: Wyoming, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.”

And it’s according to the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE) that at the end of 2012 there were 557 coal-fueled power plants in the United States.  And it also according to the ACCCE that by 2015, over 90 percent of U.S. coal-fueled electric generating capacity will have installed clean coal technologies and other advanced emission controls to reduce harmful emissions.  And the fact that none of this makes any difference to Mikey and his many leftist cohorts, should cause any rational thinking American to call into question just what it is that might be motivating these environmentalist wackos who appear to be so eager to shut down our coal industry.

Brune also announced at the event that other “partners” contributing to the campaign would add an additional $30 million to the effort to shutter America’s coal plants, including the Hewlett Foundation, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Yellow Chair Foundation, the Grantham Foundation and the Sandler Family Foundation, left wing foundations all.  And it was in a press release distributed to the media at the event that said, “With the new round of funding, the Sierra Club will continue to use tactics as varied as grassroots advocacy, community organizing, paid advertising, technical research and litigation.”

This propaganda piece went on to say, “The Sierra Club will also continue to push regulators to crack down on harmful pollution and replace dirty power generation capacity with solar, wind and energy efficiency.  In addition to helping the country move away from coal towards a new energy economy, today’s investment in the Beyond Coal campaign will put the United States in a stronger position to drive more ambitious climate action at the 2015 United Nations climate change conference in Paris, where nations, businesses, cities, and other actors will convene to make bold commitments on further greenhouse gas emissions reductions.”

It strikes me as being more than a little disconcerting that in a world where there are so many worthy causes in need of more funding, and where the incredible wealth of these men could be used to do so much good, it’s instead that they choose to use their vast fortunes to do only harm.  And it’s these very same men who, if we’re being honest here, are really only interested in one thing and one thing only.  Because while they may claim to be working for the benefit of all, that which is far more often the case is the fact that they are, and very selfishly so, only seeking for themselves some level of benefit, either financially, or to gain for themselves some level of power. 

I often find myself wondering just what it is that these billionaires seem to have against the rest of us.  Why is it that they seem to be so determined in their efforts to make our lives so much more difficult than they need to be?  And another thing, have you ever noticed how it is that the majority of those causes which are funded by these left wing fanatics always have at their goal the further detriment of our country?  And yet it’s those who choose to willing spend their money to combat the progressive agenda underway in this country who are always on the receiving end of all manner slanderous, and patently disgusting, accusations. 

MICHAEL 'NANNY MIKE' BLOOMBERG STRIKES AGAIN...

 

 

Apparently now, according to he who saw fit to ban those dangerously big, surgery soft drinks from his city, 'Nanny Mike' seems to have now set his sights on yet another of what he sees as being a menace to the citizens of his fair city. 'Nanny Mike' is now on another mission, the purpose of which, apparently, is to once again seek out a method by which he can further ‘protect’ us from ourselves by using what some might describe as being rather unconventional tactics, to say the least. You see, what 'Nanny Mike' is now focused in on like a laser beam are some of the most common and most powerful prescription painkillers currently available on the market. Apparently, 'Nanny Mike' intends to justify his peculiar new policy by stating that the purpose of this new policy of his is to limit supplies of prescription painkillers in the city’s Emergency Rooms as a way to combat what he described as being a growing addiction problem in the region. 'Nanny Mike' states that is in an effort to crack down on what he called a citywide and national epidemic of prescription drug abuse. Look, I'm not a liberal, for which I thank my lucky stars each and every day, but this nutty idea just doesn't make much sense. And quite frankly, it shouldn't for anything one with even half a brain. I mean, to start with Emergency Rooms? Um, sorry but I'm just not getting that.

 

Under his new cockamamie policy, most public hospital patients will no longer be able to get more than three days’ worth of narcotic painkillers like Vicodin and Percocet. Long-acting painkillers, including OxyContin, a familiar remedy for chronic backache and arthritis, as well as Fentanyl patches and methadone, will not be dispensed at all. And lost, stolen or destroyed prescriptions will not be refilled. On his weekly radio show with John Gambling, ‘Nanny Mike’ said, "The city hospitals we control, so…we’re going to do it and we’re urging all of the other hospitals to do it, voluntary guidelines. Somebody said, oh, somebody wrote, ‘Oh then maybe there won’t be enough painkillers for the poor who use the emergency rooms as their primary care doctor.’" Mike added, "Number one, there’s no evidence of that. Number two, supposing it is really true so you didn’t get enough painkillers and you did have to suffer a little bit. The other side of the coin is people are dying and there’s nothing perfect….There’s nothing that you can possibly do where somebody isn’t going to suffer and it’s always the same group [claiming], ‘Everybody is heartless.’ Come on, this is a very big problem." Is this not the typical kind of crap we always here from flaming liberal assholes like Mike. I'm sure he wouldn't mind suffering a little, right? After all, it would be for a good cause.

 

But critics, of which there appears to be a growing number, said that poor and uninsured patients frequently look to Emergency Rooms to perform the function of their primary source of medical care. These restrictions, they claim, could deprive doctors in the public hospital system, whose mission it is to treat these patients, of the necessary flexibility that they need to properly respond to patients. "Here is my problem with legislative medicine," said Dr. Alex Rosenau, president-elect of the American College of Emergency Physicians and senior vice chairman of emergency medicine at Lehigh Valley Health Network in Eastern Pennsylvania. "It prevents me from being a professional and using my judgment." While someone could fake a toothache to get painkillers, he said, another patient might have legitimate pain and not be able to get an appointment at a dental clinic for days. Or, he said, a patient with a hand injury may need more than three days of pain relief until the swelling goes down and an operation could be scheduled. But 'Nanny Mike,' like every other liberal on the entire planet, doesn't really give a squat about that. In fact, I think it safe to say that old 'Nanny Mike' couldn't care less! To liberals, like 'Nanny Mike's" way of thinking, doctors simply have no business practicing medicine, that should be left up entirely to the government!

 

Dr. Rosenau said that the college of emergency physicians had not developed an official position on the prescribing of painkillers in Emergency Rooms and that he appreciated 'Nanny Mike's' activism in the face of a serious public health problem. But, he said, it’s pain clinics in states like Florida and California, states where prescription drug abuse is rampant, as well as the household medicine cabinet, that are probably a more common source of unneeded painkillers than are the Emergency Rooms which 'Nanny Mike' has now targeted. City health officials have made the claim that these new ‘guidelines’ would not apply to patients who need prescriptions for cancer pain or palliative care, and drugs would still be available outside the Emergency Room. They said that in this era of patient-satisfaction surveys, doctors were often afraid to make patients unhappy by refusing drugs when they are requested, and the rules would give those doctors some support when they suspected that a patient might be faking pain to get drugs. "There will be no chance that the patients who need pain relief will not get pain relief," said Dr. Ross Wilson, senior vice president and chief medical officer of the Health and Hospitals Corporation, which runs the city’s public hospitals. Then I would very much like to ask this moron, 'DR.' Rosee Wilson, what the hell's the point of this new policy?

 

Similar rules are said to have also been adopted in Washington State as well as in Utah. Dr. Thomas A. Farley, the city’s health commissioner, said opioid painkillers were not all that different from those highly addictive and more taboo street drugs like heroin. He called them "heroin in pill form." But what he doesn't say is whether or not those rules adopted in both Washington and Utah have made any kind of an appreciable difference in the problem that they were supposed to aid in addressing. More than two million prescriptions for opioid painkillers are written in New York City each year, the equivalent of a quarter of the city’s population, Dr. Farley said, and about 40,000, or like 5 tenths of one percent, New Yorkers are already dependent on painkillers and need treatment. Painkillers were involved in 173 accidental overdose deaths in New York City in 2010. I hate to sound cold here, but 173 people out of a population of over 8 million just doesn't seem to be that big of a deal to me. I mean let’s put things into perspective here, shall we? That truly does fit the definition of being and infinitesimal amount, in the big scheme of things. Dr. Farley also said that while the city lacked the regulatory authority to ‘impose’ the new guidelines on its 50 or so private hospitals, several private hospitals have said they would adopt them voluntarily.

 

In the same radio interview, ‘Nanny Mike’ stressed the initiative’s simple rationale is to prevent extra pills from piling up in the cabinets of New Yorkers who no longer need them, where they can pose a health risk if they’re abused. "We talk about drugs, heroin and crack and marijuana, this is one of the big outbursts–and it’s a lot worse around the country than it is here. It’s kids and adults getting painkillers and using them for entertainment purposes, or whatever field of purposes, as opposed to what they are designed for," he explained. "If you break a leg, you’re going to be in pain, nothing wrong with getting something that reduces the pain. But if you get 20 days worth of pills and you only need them 3 days, there’s 17 days sitting there. Invariably some of the kids are going to find them, or you’re going to take them and get you addicted." 'Nanny Mike’ also tried to argue the point that the number of pain pills currently being prescribed had even contributed to an uptick in violent crimes outside of pharmacies from robbers looking to steal the drugs. "You see there’s a lot more hold-ups of pharmacies, people getting held up as they walk out of pharmacies," he explained. "What are they all about? They’re not trying to steal your shaving cream or toothpaste at the point of a gun. They want these drugs."

 

Look, the bottom line here is that this idea of ‘Nanny Mike’s’ is about as stupid as they came. To choose Emergency Rooms as being your primary place to implement a policy makes it all the more obvious that it is based more on politics than on any genuine concern for his fellow citizens. Rather than take any actions that would actually have a real impact on what he claims to be trying to accomplish, ‘Nanny Mike’ chooses to take what is the easy way out. And when all is said and done, no significant impact will have been made on the numbers of these drugs making it to the street. Meanwhile those folks who have come to depend on Emergency Room physicians will be made to bear the brunt of those unintended consequences that always result from liberal policies put into place by do-gooder liberals like ‘Nanny Mike.’ After all, what do you think the chances are that ‘Nanny Mike’ will ever having to worry about being without any of these medications, should he ever find himself in the position of actually needing them. And, really, when was the last time you think ‘Nanny Mike’ might have even shown up in the Emergency Room? I’d be willing to be that ‘Nanny Mike’ has never even seen the inside of an Emergency Room, any Emergency Room, unless he was there in some official capacity.
