OBAMA CLAIMS THE CURRENT ECONOMY AS HIS, AND YET…

There have been many over the last few months, including the man himself, who have put forward the cockamamie notion that the economic boom that is currently underway has everything to do Barry ‘O’ and absolutely nothing to do with President Trump.  And it was as recently as this past Friday that Barry once again tried to claim credit for the many economic success of President Trump.  This would be the same ex-president who mocked candidate Trump’s promises on jobs back in 2016. He taunted Trump saying, “What magic wand do you have?”

The reality is that Democrats, including Barry ‘O’, have long opposed every single policy that is responsible for our current economic boom. For instance:

Tax cuts: Democrats unanimously opposed the Republican tax cuts that Trump signed into law last year, which lowered the corporate tax rate to an internationally-competitive 21% and lowered tax rates for the middle class as well as high earners. Under Barry, Democrats tried to reverse all of the Bush tax cuts in 2012, and Republicans fought them until the very edge of the “fiscal cliff” — until the president and his party agreed to allow Bush’s tax cuts for the middle class to become permanent.

Deregulation: As soon as Trump took office, Republicans used the Congressional Review Act to toss out many regulations that Barry had neglected to notify Congress about before leaving office. The president also used executive orders to reverse or simplify many rules that Barry’s administration had implemented that were obstacles to investment and economic growth.

Obamacare fixes: Obamacare was a major drag on the economy in two ways. First, it imposed an individual mandate that forced everyone to buy health insurance — often at expensive prices. Second, it created new uncertainty in the economy, since investors anticipated that Barry’s administration would follow through on promises to regulate other industries. The GOP repealed the individual mandate — over unanimous Democrat opposition — and the Trump administration relaxed the rules on Obamacare to allow individuals to buy simpler and cheaper short-term plans rather than expensive Obamacare plans. Partly as a result, premiums are growing slowly. The Associated Press reported Friday that some people will pay less next year.

Energy: Barry quite literally tried to shut down the coal industry, tried to stop the Keystone XL pipeline, and discouraged oil and gas drilling. Yet the strongest economic growth during his tenure came from the booming oil shale industry, which created many new jobs while keeping fuel prices low for the economy as a whole. Republicans immediately reversed his policies, allowing the energy sector to grow even more — though Barry continued to target “corporate polluters” in his speech Friday.

Spending caps: Though fiscal discipline is not exactly a priority of the current Congress, Republicans forced Democrats to accept spending caps after taking the House in 2010. That restraint arguably helped restore a sense of economic stability.

Undeterred, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are running on promises to raise taxes, restore regulations, expand Obamacare into “Medicare for all,” limit fossil fuels, and spend more on government programs. A box of “magic wands.”  There can be no doubt whatsoever that the Democrat Party of 2018 is dedicated to the destruction of not only the middle-class and blue collar workers from coast to coast, but the complete destruction of America and  by any means necessary.  And if they are successful in their effort to regain control of Congress, that will be their mission.

So as we can very plainly see, as evidenced by his speech from last Friday, Barry ‘O’s narcissism and pathological lying are both still very much alive and well. Thank you Lord that we were able to survive his attempts to destroy our country and for the fact that we were allowed to dodge a sizable bullet back in 2016 with the defeat of his chosen successor, Hitlery.  Barry remains to this day a liar, a racist, and a man who cannot be trusted.  He is 100% involved in the conspiracy against Trump, just as he is a supporter of Antifa, BLM violence and is corrupt to his core.

There is no doubt that Democrats are counting on their low-information followers to not understand how a free market works. Most of these folks have come to believe that government is the heart of any economy so they are unable to comprehend how Trump’s actions would be of any benefit.  We all know that the Democrat Party is the party of slavery, Jim Crow, the KKK, segregation and more recently wide open borders and sanctuary cities. They will never support policies of freedom and liberty for each American. They only support anti-America, tyrannical agendas.

The Democrats, led by Barry ‘O’, don’t really want to see any improvement in the economy because that would show to everyone just how well free-market capitalism works, and creates the greatest opportunity and prosperity for the greatest number of people.  These creatures of the left favor the government controlling all of the wealth the responsibility of selecting the winners and losers, and to then dole the wealth out accordingly.  Just look how well that worked for the former Soviet Union or Cuba, Venezuela or Nicaragua.  They're all doing just great, right?

I remember how Hitlery once claimed that the economy “ALWAYS” does better when there is a Democrat in the White House.  But if the eight years during which we were made to endure Barry ‘O’s hardcore leftwing economic policies showed us anything it that it’s just the opposite that is so very true.  But as we have seen that hasn’t stopped them from trying to take credit for our current economic successes, and there will continue to be those Democrats who actually believe that they somehow all stem from those very same leftwing economic policies.

The Democrats seek to destroy America, such as it is, then act as if they are the great saviors to rise like the phoenix with a new government framework under socialism. While I hope I am wrong, I believe the time is coming where Americans will be forced to take up arms. Obviously the left believes this as well.  Democrats have a vested interest in high numbers of people without good jobs and dependent on government. To vote for anything that would improve the economy, especially the lot of working class American citizens, takes away votes for the socialist/progressive agenda.

Let’s face it, regardless what the Democrats, or any of their many minions, may say, a strong American economy is something that is not in their best interest.  Because the more people able to find a job means fewer will on welfare and therefore more difficult to control.  Democrats are losing their slave class, hence their panic.  And it’s odd, don’t you think, that Barry ran on a platform of “you didn't build that” and yet wants to take credit for the economy’s current success. He spent eight years blaming Bush for the economy and now wants to take credit for Trump’s economy.

TRUMP’S REAL ECONOMIC RECOVERY VERSUS OBAMA’S FICTIONAL ONE…

If you have been paying any amount of attention to the antics of those in the Democrat Party, as well as their many minions in the ‘fake news’ state-controlled media complex, you would have to come to the conclusion that, for the most part, they have now become completely unhinged.  And it would seem that with each passing day they become a bit more so.  It’s really quite the bizarre phenomenon, even for Democrats.  So how is it that we are to take them seriously?  

It was for eight long years, and nearly on a daily basis, that we heard from Barry about what a terrible economy it was that he had inherited from George Bush.  And for those same eight years the socialist policies put in place by Barry did little more than to make our economic problems worse.  We were constantly being reminded about how some great economic recovery was underway and yet during Barry’s entire eight year reign economic growth only once got to a 2 percent annual growth rate.

And it was also during those eight long years that we had more folks out of the nation’s workforce than we did since the days of Jimmy Carter and wages actually decreased.  And we were told that what we were witnessing, economically speaking, was to be viewed as being the normal for our once vibrant economy.  That what we were seeing was going to be the best we’d ever get.  So in 2016 we had a choice to make, continue with the same failed policies, or to try something different.

And that something different has resulted in a true economic boom. Last month, for instance, the American economy added 201,000 jobs and the unemployment rate held steady at 3.9 percent.  Apparently, many of our so-called economists had forecast 191,100 new jobs and that the unemployment rate would be falling to 3.8 percent.  Now I’m not sure what it takes these days to be an economist, I can only hope that it’s at least a little more than what it takes to be called a ‘professor’.

Also last month, we saw average hourly earnings increase 2.9 percent for the month on an annualized basis, according to a Department of Labor report released Friday. That also beat expectations for 2.7 percent wage growth. In dollar terms, average hourly earnings increased 10 cents from the previous month to $27.16.  Private sector payrolls rose by 204,000. Mining added 6,000 new jobs. Construction added 23,000, bringing its total to over 300,000 for the year. 

Now with all that being said, it was during a speech that Barry delivered earlier today at the University of Illinois which, oddly enough, gave him an award for “ethics in government” that Barry claimed it is he and not President Trump who deserves credit for the “economic miracle” Trump and Republicans are now touting. He said, “When you hear how great the economy’s doing right now, let’s just remember when this recovery started.”  Yes, the ‘real’ recovery started with President Trump!

As for Friday’s strong employment numbers Barry claimed, “Those job numbers are the same as they were in 2015 and 2016.”  Of course, the kernel of truth inside Barry’s claim is that the pace of job creation has been the same over the past several years.  But what he leaves out is that the economy is doing much better by several other measures as well, including the pace of growth, the rise in household income, and the increase in opportunities at the lower end of the spectrum.

Moreover, when Barry takes credit for the economic recovery, he ignores the fact that it was the slowest recovery in the post-war era, largely due to HIS policies. The recovery began in earnest when Republicans took over the House in 2010, and put an end to any prospect of more massive stimulus bills, or more heavy regulations like Obamacare.  Today, Barry blamed the Republicans’ victory in 2010 for the fact that he failed “to reverse 40-year trends” of inequality.  Actually, it just took Trump.

So in the big scheme of things I can’t help but wonder if there are today enough Americans, at least of those who vote, who would actually prefer a return to the days of Obama-style economic policies rather than to ensure that we stay the course on which the economic policies of President Trump have put us.  I suppose that’s something that we will come to find out in a mere 59 days.   There is much uncertainty surrounding the coming election, with choices that could not be clearer.

Barry ‘O’ once joked about the so-called “Magic Wand” in terms of being able to bring manufacturing jobs back to America.  And it’s that magic wand that appears to have taken the form of President Trump, a president who, at least as much as he can, enforces our immigration laws and thus puts upward pressure on real Americans’ wages.  Also, the tax cut and regulation cutting plays a role. Thank God for President Trump and the real “Magic Wand” along with cutting regulations and taxes. 

Apparently a booming economy, at least when a Republican is in the White House, causes an extraordinary meltdown among Democrats.  And while Democrats, as a party, have nothing to offer other than hating our president, the country is in the best shape, economically speaking, than it has been in decades.  And because of that the ‘Democrat-Hate-America’ agenda has now been exposed and with it their hatred of America, of average Americans, of God and of American exceptionalism!! 

All Barry succeeded in doing, with his self-promoting little speech, was to remind us all of how it was that he came to preside over what was the single largest collective wipeout of Democrat Party power in modern U.S. political history.  And he also reminded us of why we chose to vote for Donald Trump and not his chosen successor, Hitlery.  The speech was crafted out nothing more than lies, half-truths, lies by omission, distortions and straw men arguments. It never changes with this guy.

Those on the receiving of our current economic boom know full well that it is President Trump who’s responsible for what is a bona fide economic recovery, not something that was essentially nothing more than a ‘recovery’ in name only, which is what we experienced during Barry’s tenure in the White House.  Barry left America no better than it was when he found it, and he offers us only excuses for why.  And it has been in a brief 18 months that President Trump has already made it better.

THE STATE OF OUR ECOMONY…ACCORDING TO OBAMA…

It was with a smiling, for no apparent reason, ‘Slow Joe’ Biden standing behind him that Barry “Almighty” gave a little self-congratulatory speech, as nearly all of his speeches are, patting himself on the back and confidently declaring that “the facts don’t lie,” the American economy “is pretty darn good right now.”  Demonstrating that if it is anyone who is experiencing an alternative reality, it would be him and not millions of his fellow Americans.  Barry proceeded to take credit for what he says is the excellent state of the economy and, of course, attributing it all to his brilliantly conceived, and even more brilliantly executed, economic plans.  Barry said, and with a straight face no less, “The fact of the matter is, is that the plans that we have put in place to grow the economy have worked.”

Here is Barry’s speech about how he sees our economy:

“Well, I thought it might be useful to take a small break from the spectacle of the political season -- and now, I gather, O.J. -- to focus on something that really matters to the American people, and that is how is the economy doing and how is it affecting their lives.

This morning, we learned that the U.S. economy had created 242,000 jobs last month.  That’s two months in a row at the unemployment rate of below 5 percent.  And over the past three months, our workforce has grown by 1.5 million people.  That is progress.

Overall, America’s business has now created new jobs for 72 straight months, six straight years of job creation -- 14.3 million new jobs.  In fact, our businesses have created jobs every single month since I signed that job-killing Obamacare bill.

Think about this -- if somebody had told us seven years ago that we’d get to this point at a time when we were losing 800,000 jobs a month, and the unemployment rate hit 10 percent, we wouldn’t have believed them.  But today, America’s businesses are creating jobs at the fastest pace since the 1990s.  America’s workforce is growing at the fastest pace since the year 2000.  It is showing the kind of strength and durability that makes America’s economy right now the envy of the world despite the enormous headwinds that it’s receiving because of weaknesses in other parts of the world.

In other words, the numbers, the facts don’t lie.  And I think it’s useful, given that there seems to be an alternative reality out there from some of the political folks that America is down in the dumps.  It’s not.  America is pretty darn great right now, and making strides right now.  And small businesses and large businesses alike are hiring right now, and investing right now, and building this country brick by brick, block by block, neighborhood by neighborhood, all across the country.

And I don’t expect that these facts and this evidence will convince some of the politicians out there to change their doomsday rhetoric, talking about how terrible America is.  But the American people should be proud of what they have achieved, because this speaks to their resilience, innovation, creativity, risk-taking, and grit.

The fact of the matter is, is that the plans that we have put in place to grow the economy have worked.  They would work even faster if we did not have the kind of obstruction that we’ve seen in this town to prevent additional policies that would make a difference.  And there is going to be a debate going on around the budget in the coming months.  Republicans in Congress are, sadly, trying to cut some of the investments that could spur additional growth.  They are blocking things like an increase in the minimum wage, or more robust investment in jobs training, infrastructure, education that can continue to lift up wages and incomes -- an area, by the way, where we are not seeing the same kinds of pace that we want to see, and where, if we’re working together, we could be making a difference.

That’s what we should be debating.  That’s the debate that is worthy of the American people.  Not fantasy.  Not name-calling.  Not trying to talk down the American economy, but looking at the facts, understanding that we’ve made extraordinary progress in job growth; how can we continue to advance that, how can we make sure that people are successful in climbing the ladder of wage and income growth over the coming years; how do we make sure that we make this economy grow even faster.

And the kinds of proposals that we’ve put forward repeatedly in terms of rebuilding our infrastructure, improving our job-training system, lifting the minimum wage, dealing with things like family leave and paid leave, making sure that retirement accounts are more helpful to middle-class families and working families, making college more affordable -- those are all the things that are really going to make an enormous difference.  We’ve got to continue to push that agenda.  That’s what we should be talking about.  And that’s what I’m going to be talking about with my economic team here in the coming months. 

The notion that we would reverse the very policies that helped dig us out of a recession, reinstitute those that got us into a hole -- plans that are being currently proposed by Republicans in Congress and by some of the candidates for President -- that’s not the conversation we should be having.  That’s not the direction America should take.  And I’m looking forward to very forcefully making clear that what we have done has made a difference, and that there’s a huge gap between the rhetoric that’s going on out there and the reality of success that we’re seeing in America’s economy, even as we acknowledge that there’s more work that can be done to make sure that everybody is benefitting from that success.

So, can any of what Barry said here, actually be true?  Or, is what we have here nothing more than some weird economic fairytale.  Are our eyes and our wallets deceiving us all?  Did Barry oversee a new era of economic prosperity right under our noses and did we all somehow miss it?  Of course he didn’t.  Because this dream world of his is nothing less than a nightmare for millions of American who are now forced to work, one or more part-time jobs just to make ends meet, if they are able to find work at all.  And the continuing propaganda, whether coming from Barry or any of his many minions, that Barry has somehow managed to fully turn around the U.S. economy is just that, pure propaganda. For one thing, I think most of us recognize the fact that the monthly unemployment numbers that are announced at the end of every month are nothing if not a work of pure fiction.

Barry likes to claim that HE “salvaged” the U.S. economy from “Bush’s failed policies.”  But when it comes to exactly what those “failed policies” were, there is always a certain vagueness. This is a relatively common debating tactic used by leftists when they have little of substance to say. They make big, blanket statements, devoid of any specifics, and hope that their message will stick before you notice that they never really said anything. I don’t disagree with the assertion that some of the policies implemented during the presidency of George W. Bush (notably the excessive deficit-spending and the expansion of the government footprint in the healthcare sphere) probably contributed to the lackluster economic growth during the Bush years. But, what’s never mentioned is the one policy that likely played the most significant role in the devastating economic collapse at the end of the Bush presidency, heavy government intervention in the housing market.

And let’s not forget that it was Democrats, primarily Jimmy ‘The Bonehead’ Carter and then ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton, together with their liberal activist core and courtesy of the Community Re-Investment Act, that pushed for the government to leave Fannie and Freddie alone DESPITE the many warnings that came from the Bush administration. These same Democrats blocked the many attempts by the Bush administration to head off the impending housing disaster. Don’t believe me because you’re a liberal who is vaccinated against facts and data? Then please take a look at this brief news-clip montage of Bush administration officials begging the congress and senate to act before a housing collapse occurred. But “it’s a Fox News clip” you say? Okay, here’s a New York Times piece which bypasses your liberal biases towards Fox News that says the same thing.

My second point is how Barry claims that the economy has been growing at a steady rate.  If I only learn one word a year for my first ten years of life I’m also learning at a “steady rate” but “steady” does not mean, by anyone’s definition, healthy.  Here are the hard facts. Barry’s economy has been a disaster and the average rate of growth during Barry’s tenure has been hovering around 2%. Yet, the average growth rate of the U.S. economy since we started keeping these statistics is over 3%.  Both Ronald Reagan and ‘Slick Willie’ Clinton were in office when our economy reached rates of growth of over 5% and 4% respectively.  Although I think it reasonable to argue that ‘Slick Willie’ was still reaping the benefits of Reagan’s policies.  While I suppose most Democrats would disagree with that assessment that doesn’t alter what most definitely is the case.        

My third point of dispute is that the unemployment rate has been reduced all the way down to the five percent level which economists view as ideal. Yes, the unemployment is down to the 5% level but doesn’t context matter?  I mean let’s be clear here, the reason that the unemployment rate is down, but the majority of Americans still feel like the economy is getting worse (check the polls if you dispute this), is that an astonishing 92% of the drop in the unemployment rate can be attributed to people LEAVING the work force, and only 7% can be attributed to actual job growth. Overseeing an economy where Americans are so frustrated by their job searches that they decide to exit the workforce in droves is not something to hang your presidential hat on.  But, you see, all of those folks who can’t find work, no longer exist to Barry.  You see, if they did, they’d mess up his numbers.

And the fourth, and final, point that I’d like to make, even though Barry doesn’t make mention of it in this particular speech, is something that I always find pretty humorous.  And it’s whenever Barry makes the claim that he has actually reduced the annual federal deficit and by a pretty significant percentage.  Because I’ve always wondered how it is that when he came into office the federal debt stood at a little over $10 Trillion.  And now, after having Barry at the helm for a tad bit over seven years now, the federal deficit stands at a little over $19 Trillion.  Now I realize I am a product of the New York state public school system, but for the life of me I can’t figure out how that can be seen as a reduction.  Far from a reduction, what we have here is the largest amount of red ink ever accumulated by any president in American history, even after adjusted for inflation.

Regardless of all the claims and endless propaganda, the fact of the matter is that for the last seven years what Barry has presided over is nothing more than an economic train wreck!  And no matter how hard I look, no matter how much slack I’m willing to provide to Barry, I see no real evidence that backs up any of Barry’s claims that he has somehow produced a booming economy.  What I see is a nation drowning in $19 trillion of debt, a ‘Kill Your Healthcare Scheme’ that was created on a foundation of progressive lies and continues to wreak havoc across the USA, an all-time high for our poverty level, an all-time high for those on food stamps, an all-time high for those not in the workforce and the allowing of illegal invaders to continue to invade, all equates to an economy that “is pretty darn good right now.”  Am I missing something here?  Is it me?  Because it’s just not making much sense to me. 

THE ECONOMIC WIZARDRY OF BARACK OBAMA…

Yup, Barry’s little masterplan for our economy is working just great!  And you can’t say that our ‘Fearless Leader’ isn’t some sort of economic mastermind, since what has been taking place during his tenure, economically speaking, is exactly what he intended to have take place. That being, of course, to increase the number of Americans without a job, making it far more likely that they become addicted to government assistance and therefore more likely to vote for Democrats.

So with all that being said, the net result of Barry of the socialist economic policies that Barry has implemented is that we now have a record 94,031,000 Americans who were not in the American labor force last month, which is 261,000 more than in July, and a labor force participation rate that has remained stuck at 62.6 percent, a 38-year low, for a third straight month in August.  This was reported by the Labor Department just yesterday as the nation heads into the long ‘Labor’ Day weekend.

The number of Americans not in the labor force has continued to rise practically since ‘Day 1’ of Barry’s presidency.  In August, according to the Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the nation’s civilian noninstitutional population, consisting of all those people who are 16 or older and who were not in the military or an institution, reached 251,096,000. Of those, 157,065,000 participated in the labor force by either holding a job or by at least actively seeking one.

So what Barry has been able to accomplish over his time in office, through a number of disastrous policies, is to have reduced to 157,065,000 the number of Americans who now participate in the nation’s labor force, a number which is equal to only 62.6 percent of the 251,096,000 civilian noninstitutional population, the same as it was in July and June. Not since October 1977, during the days of Jimmy Carter, when the participation rate dropped to 62.4, has the percentage been this low.

And now for a little historical context regarding what it is that Barry has actually been able to bring about here in 21st century America.  In January 1948 -- the first year the data was recorded -- 88.7 percent of men, aged 20 and older, were participating in the U.S. labor force. The rate first dipped below 80 percent in November 1975 (79.9%), spiraling steadily downward through August 2015, when 71.5 percent of men 20 and older were participating in the labor force.

It's the opposite story for women 20 and older: In 1948, a time when one-earner incomes were generally sufficient to support the family, only 31 percent of women participated in the workforce. In May 1966, the rate climbed above 40 percent for the first time; it broke 50 percent in October 1978; and 60 percent in July 1996.  When Barry took office 60.9 percent of women were participating in the labor force, shortly after the participation rate for women started heading down. Last month, it stood at 58.2 percent.

According to yesterday’s jobs report, among the major demographic groups, the unemployment rate for whites declined to 4.4 percent in August. The rates for adult men (4.7 percent), adult women (4.7 percent), teenagers (16.9 percent), blacks (9.5 percent), Asians (3.5 percent), and Hispanics (6.6 percent) showed little change in August.  The number of long-term unemployed (those jobless for 27 weeks or more) held at 2.2 million in August and accounted for 27.7 percent of the unemployed.

Also, the number of Americans employed part time, for economic reasons, which is sometimes referred to as involuntary part-time workers, ticked up in August to 6,483,000, or 158,000 more than the 6,325,000 recorded in July. These are individuals who, more than likely, would have preferred full-time employment but instead were forced into working part time because their hours had been cut back or because they were unable to find a full-time job.  This is the Barry “Almighty” economy. 

So what we now have after having been made to endure nearly seven years of Barry being president, is a scenario where nearly one third of this nation’s working age population, not working.  Meanwhile we now have over 40 million people on food stamps, 45 million Americans now in poverty, a 100 million are on disability, and a 100 million Americans now on some form of government assistance.  These numbers are a direct result of Barry’s socialist approach to our economic problems.

WILL THE ECONOMY HAVE AN IMPACT ON NOVEMBER’S ELECTIONS???

It is according to another new survey, this one put out by Politico, that a feeling of gloom and doom surrounding the economy still persists in the United Sates. That despite the many rumors of continuing signs of some supposed economic recovery now being underway. While I may not be an expert on the economy, I am someone who is forced to deal with the effects, on a daily basis, brought about by those policies that Barry has put into place. And I dare say that there are very few, if any, actual indicators that any sort of recovery is currently ongoing.

I mean let’s face it. The jobs numbers that are being reported at the end of each month have now become nothing much more of a complete work of fiction than an accurate portrayal of our employment situation. And it’s a fact that we now have nearly as many people on some sort of government program, i.e., food stamps, disability, extended unemployment or welfare, as we now have working to cover the costs of all of those program. And in the span of Barry’s presidency we have had 10 Million workers who have now left the workforce. Recovery?

So this new Politico poll, supposedly involving 917 ‘likely’ voters, points out that at least in those states said to be ‘battleground states’, we have a majority of likely voters who blame, and rightly so, Barry "Almighty" for the nation’s financial woes. We see that 57 percent of them said that they either "strongly" or "somewhat" disapprove of his ‘leadership’ on the issue. The poll showed that only 15 percent "strongly approve" of Barry’s handling of the economy, while 27 percent said they somewhat approve.

And it also courtesy of this poll that we see that only 23 percent of potential voters in those states identified as being ‘competitive’, again regarding November’s midterm elections, believe that their financial situation has improved, compared to the 30 percent who say that it has actually gotten worse. And it’s the frustration and anger over the current state of the country’s economy that I think we can say has played at least a part in the fact that 36 percent of voters in the poll now say that the GOP is better suited to handle the economy.

And yet, as bizarre as it may sound, that figure was matched by the same percentage of those people who actually believe that it’s the Democrats who are better positioned to continue handling the country’s economy. Some 28 percent of respondents were undecided on which party should be running the economy. Now how ignorant, or completely misinformed, must one be in order to think that those in the Democrat Party are the least bit concerned about the economy or actually want it to improve in the first place?

And then, to add insult to injury, this poll also pointed out the fact that we now have a majority of Americans, 61 percent, say they do not have enough savings to deal with a sudden loss of the job. And we also has 62 percent of Americans who said that the rising cost of basic household items like gas and groceries has now put a significant strain on their finances. And I think we can also make the case for now saying that the rising cost of both of those particular items are a direct result of policies that have been put into place by Barry & Co..

Although Politico made the claim that the economy has marginally improved in recent months, the political news website said that unemployment still remains above 6 percent and that in August the country added just 142,000 jobs. But like I said earlier, there is very little doubt that the unemployment figures we hear about have been, and continue to be, manipulated to the point where they are now essentially meaningless. They in no way provide any sort of an accurate picture of our current employment situation.

So when all is said and done I find it all a bit confusing that while a significant number of people blame Barry for our rather dismal performing economy, they can, and in almost the very same breath, say they enthusiastic supporters of Hitlery Clinton, who is essentially cut from the very same cloth as Barry himself. She supports many of the same policies, and both are nothing more than rabid progressives. And as such neither possess any interest in ensuring that our economy is strong, because with a strong economy, fewer people require government ‘assistance’.

WHAT ECONOMIC RECOVERY???

Apparently it’s more than a few mayors from at least some of our nation’s cities most, if not all, of whom are members of Barry’s own party, who have how offered up some pretty harsh criticism of Barry and his claims regarding our supposedly improving economy. As they are made to preside over the harsh reality in their individual cities, they appear of be less than thrilled with Barry’s continuing claim that it has been under his leadership that an economic recovery has now taken place.

But the sad truth of the matter is that job losses and wage decreases continue to mar our economy in the years since the recession. And it’s a new report offered by this group of mayors that says despite Barry's continuing insistence that he has presided over an economic recovery, no recovery has actually taken place, that things have not, as Barry has repeatedly said, improved. But I doubt very much that most folks would need some report to point out to them that Barry’s claim regarding an economic recovery are nothing more than a sham.

But still, it’s according to a new report by the U.S. Conference of Mayors, that wages across a range of industries for new urban jobs have decreased by 23 percent just since 2008. Specifically, the report said that new jobs in the hospitality and healthcare industries, for example, pay significantly less than the jobs lost in manufacturing and construction. But Barry isn’t one to differentiate between different kinds of jobs. To Barry a job is a job, it matters very little what it might pay, at least it’s a job.

According to a summary of the report, "This wage gap of 23 percent is significantly larger than that of the earlier recession and recovery (2000-2006), and implies $93 billion in lower wage income," The wage decrease in the 2000-06 period was 12 percent, the report said. The report's claims by allies of the president conflict with Barry's own message on the campaign trail that the economy has almost fully recovered during his tenure. We have heard one lie after another about how because of the measures Barry has taken, our economy is now strong and vibrant.

In fact, Barry told supporters at rally back on July 30, "America has recovered faster and come farther than just about any other advanced country on Earth." And he went on to declare, "For the first time in more than a decade, if you ask business leaders around the world what's the No. 1 place to invest, they don't say China anymore. They say the United States of America. And our lead is growing." Barry went on to say, "So sometimes you wouldn’t know it if you were watching the news, but there are a lot of good reasons to be optimistic about America."

And might it be that all of the demands now being made by Barry and many of his fellow Democrats to raise the minimum wage to unrealistic levels have much to do with the fact that today’s jobs pay so much less than the jobs that were made to disappear. But how little economic sense does it really make to pay a fast food worker the same amount that one used to make as construction worker? And yet this is what Barry and the Democrats are essentially proposing. There is a better way, and step one is to remove Democrats from power.

MR. BILL LOOMAN, AN AMERICAN WHOSE FINALLY HAD ENOUGH…

There was a recent report coming out of Georgia that claimed a business owner there has been posting, what was described as being, “controversial” signs on his company’s trucks.  So just what did these supposed “controversial” signs say? Well, it was something very clear and very straight foward, “New Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone.” And just what do you think might have been his rationale for doing so? That too was pretty clear and straight forward as well. “Can’t afford it,” explained the employer, Bill Looman, this past Tuesday evening in a recent local news report. “I’ve got people that I want to hire now, but I just can’t afford it. And I don‘t foresee that I’ll be able to afford it unless some things change in D.C.” And in making the prediction he is 100 percent accurate.

Looman‘s says he put the signs on his company’s trucks and posted pictures of them to his personal Facebook page six months ago. When he originally did that, he said that he received mostly positive reaction from people, “about 20-to-one positive.” However, one of those pictures went viral on Monday and the reaction was enormous. In fact, the reaction was so huge that Mr. Looman had to disconnect his phones because of the non-stop calls, and he‘s had to temporarily shut down his company’s website “because of all the traffic crashing the system,” local news, 11Alive reports. And that should really come as no surprise, because there are literally millions of people feeling the same frustration as Mr. Looman. Millions of people who would be doing exactly the same thing if the opportunity presented itself.


Mr. Looman made it perfectly clear, he is not refusing to hire for the simple reason of trying to make some petty political point, it’s much more serious than that. It’s because of the very simple reason that he doesn’t believe he can hire anyone because of the poor economy that he says the Obama administration has helped to create, adds the 11Alive report. “The way the economy’s running, and the way my business has been hampered by the economy, and the policies of the people in power, I felt that it was necessary to voice my opinion, and predict that I wouldn’t be able to do any hiring,” he said. As far as I know we Americans are still permitted to voice our opinions, Barry hasn’t yet managed to squelch our First Amendment. Frankly I’m amazed that Barry hasn’t sent his stellar Attorney General down to Georgia.


Apparently, someone, probably some Al “Bull Horn” Sharpton clone, really didn’t like the signs. Looman was reported to the FBI as a threat to national security. The accusation started with the FBI, went through the Department of Homeland Security, and ended with Secret Service Agents interviewing him. “The Secret Service left here, they were in a good mood and laughing,” Looman said. “I got the feeling they thought it was kind of ridiculous, and a waste of their time.” Despite the visit from the Secret Service, as well as the flood of calls and Internet traffic, Mr. Looman refuses to take the signs down. “I just spent 10 years in the Marine Corps protecting the rights of people… the First Amendment, and the Second Amendment and the [rest of the] Bill of Rights,” he said. “Lord knows they’re calling me at 2 in the morning, all night long, and voicing their opinion. And I respect their right to do that. I’m getting a reaction, a lot of it’s negative, now. But a lot of people are waking up.”


Mr. Looman is doing the rest of a tremendous favor and doing so for no other reason than because he loves his country. Like I said earlier, there are millions of Bill Loomans’s out there, but you’ll not find one protesting as members of the pathetic group garnering the majority of the news coverage of late. He’s actually trying to do something, not like all of those complaining parasitic malcontents taking part in these Occupy Wall Street riots. I see him, perhaps, as a toned down version of Peter Finch from the movie, “Network.” But where Mr. Finch’s character was “mad as Hell,” I sense that Mr. Loomis has simply become very frustrated. And that frustration is mounting with each passing day within millions of Americans, and I think that Mr. Looman serves as an inspiration to a good deal of them. And lastly, as being someone who spent 24 years in the military, I would like to thank Mr. Bill Looman for his service to his country.

THE SOLUTION TO STIMULATING OUR ECONOMY? ISSUE MORE FOOD STAMPS!

I'm sure most everybody remembers a while back when we had Nancy "Stretch" Pelosi trying so enthusiastically to advance the liberal claim that food stamps and unemployment insurance somehow provide much more of an economic stimulus than do those silly old tax cuts. It was then that she said, “food stamps and unemployment insurance, which affect the people in the states, are necessary at this time when funds are short and the economy is down, (and) actually have the most stimulative effect on the economy." She went on to say that, “Food stamps first, unemployment insurance next, infrastructure after that, and it goes on from there.” Then, not really being able to help herself, she added, “Actually, those investments bring a bigger return than the tax cuts, but tax cuts where we have them – to the middle class – we think will give us our biggest return.” So, such is the direction from which today's liberal Democrats choose to approach from as they work to continue their faux attempts at actually stimulating the economy, all of which, to their glee, have failed miserably. So you have to ask yourself, are they really even trying? They must think we're a pretty stupid bunch if they seriously think that we'll fall for such an idiotic idea. They insist upon throwing things like this up against the wall to see if any of it might stick. And of course, they have the state controlled media doing their part in trying to convince us all that yes, of course, this is actually a very good idea.

To show just how stubbornly these Democrats will hold on to such nutty ideas, we need do nothing more than to simply fast forward to just this month. Because now we have yet another liberal moron out there making pretty much the same nutty argument, this time around, however, it comes to us in the person of Barry's imbecilic Agriculture Secretary, Tom Vilsack. This fella Vilsack, has now come out advocating the same idiotic claim that, yes, food stamps and other forms of government welfare are actually stimulus programs in disguise, and basing that claim on the premise that when government gives out money, it is actually creating jobs. Now I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer here, but if that is in fact the case, then it would seem to me that if this is truly a viable way to stimulate our floundering economy, then with all of the additional millions more who now find themselves on the receiving end of this "benefit" since Barry first waltzed into the Oval office, this economy should be humming along on all 12 cylinders. But it's not! Nowhere near! Since Barry first assumed office there have been 2.4 million jobs lost, and countless millions more who are now recipients of food stamps and unemployment "benefits." And try as they might to convince us, this claim obscures the fact that both saving and investment are also economically productive activities contributing to credit availability and business growth respectively. It also ignores the fact that taxpayers whose money is used to fund food stamp programs may have spent their money on other things.


In stating what can only be described as a truly nutty excuse for the allowing of so many millions of people to now be on food stamps, here's how this goof summed it all up, “But I should point out that when you talk about the SNAP program or the food stamp program, you have to recognize that it’s also an economic stimulus,” Vilsack said Tuesday, where else but on MSNBC’s Morning Joe program. (SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.) In an attempt to validate this rather cockamamie idea, Mr. Vilsack continued, saying that, “Every dollar of SNAP benefits generates $1.84 in the economy in terms of economic activity. If people are able to buy a little more in the grocery store, then someone has to stock it, shelve it, process it, package it, ship it.” Adding that, “All of those are jobs. It’s the most direct stimulus you can get in the economy during these tough times.” Look, I've heard some pretty stupid things come out of the mouths of these liberals over the years, but this is most definitely one for the books. So I guess if we can only manage to get just a couple more million folks onto food stamps, then by golly we'll be "In Like Flint," right? Do they really think we're gonna buy this nonsense? Or, am I wrong? Are there enough people out there who actually gullible enough to believe that this is anywhere near being a very sound way to get our economy going again? I mean, if there are, then, my friends, we are nowhere but dead in the water.


So I guess this clown, Vilsack, made his silly remarks in response to a question from MSNBC commentator, Wes Moore who asked about a recent Agriculture Department report that states approximately 46 million people, or about 1 in 7 Americans, now receive food stamps. I don't know about anyone else, but it's very difficult for me to fathom the fact that there are currently 46 million Americans on food stamps. Further evidence of more "Hope and Change?" Vilsack again stuck by his claim that by redistributing money from taxpayers to those on food stamps, the government is indirectly creating jobs because welfare beneficiaries will spend their food stamp monies immediately, rather than save it or invest it. Let's be real here for just a second if we can, none of these people from Barry on down have even the slightest interest in working toward actually strengthening what is obviously a very anemic economy. They simply do not see it as being politically advantageous to them. And if there is one thing that we know for sure about Democrats, it's that everything is always directly tied to what will best benefit them politically. Their goal here is to get as many people as they can completely dependent upon the government. They know human nature being what it is, that those folks who "need" the government are much less likely to vote for those candidates who actively encourage personal responsibility by encouraging less, not more, dependence on the government.

OVER 2 YEARS LATER AND STILL IT'S ALL BUSH'S FAULT…AMAZING!

I'm sure we all remember how it was just twenty-eight short months ago, on Feb. 13, 2009 to be precise, when the then Democrat controlled Congress passed what was termed then as being a $787-billion "economic stimulus" package ironically referred to as the "American Recovery and Re-Investment Act." How upon passage of this very bogus economic recovery plan was then forwarded on to Barry "Almighty" who not so promptly signed it into law while at the same time, very loudly and very confidently declaring that it would go on to create or "save" 3.5 million jobs. However, no one has yet come up with any kind of an accurate way to define exactly what a saved job is or how you can determine exactly how a job can be identified as being saved. As well, there's no real way to determine how many of those "saved" jobs there have actually been, but none of this has not stopped this corrupt administration from sticking to its guns while making some pretty outlandish claims. The new bimbo that now heads up the DNC, a dim bulb named Debbie Wasserman Schultz, made the rounds recently, touting the fact that through the expert and very decisive leadership of Barack Hussein Obama, the American economy has now, finally, turned the corner. What? What the hell is this airhead smokin, cause she needs to be sharing. It just never ceases to amaze me the ease with which these people can continue to lie. The level of deception being perpetrated against the American by these corrupt individuals is nothing short of brazen.

This past Saturday, during his weekly address, Barry once again pointed to his predecessors, singling out those who came immediately before him, as being the primary cause of all of our continuing problems with the economy and indicated that a full recovery would not be coming any time soon. “I wish I could tell you there was a quick fix to our economic problems,” Obama said. “But the truth is, we didn’t get into this mess overnight, and we won’t get out of it overnight. It’s going to take time.” This was all nothing more than the same old, tired and worn-out rhetoric that we've been hearing for the last 2+ years, since this patently dishonest "community agitator" first walked into the Oval Office. It can't possibly be Barry's fault, after all, just look how much of our money he has spent in his effort to try to "fix" things. And it was just this past weekend that the last remaining member of Barry's initial economic team, some goof by the name of Austan Ghoulsbee, took his parting shot at Bush as being the primary culprit responsible for a majority of the blame regarding our continuing economic doldrums. That's their story and , by God, they're sticking to it! So after all of the policies that this administration has now put in place, that have succeeded in doing nothing more than to put a further strangle hold on our economy, it still remains all Bush's fault. These policies have had a specific purpose, and it is not economic recovery, because that is not the intent of the Democrat Party. The intent here is to create an economic environment so disastrous that the American people will feel that they have no where else to turn other than to the government.


At the time our buddy Barry signed this Democrat slush fund disguised as a "stimulus" package, the most recent unemployment statistics (for January 2009) showed that we had a national unemployment rate of 7.8 percent. And through the wizardry of Barry’s team of economic advisers, most of whom were gleaned from academia and possessing of absolutely zero experience of working in the private economy, numerous baseless predictions were then made that this thoroughly well thought out "stimulus" plan would insure the keeping of the national unemployment rate below 8 percent. Well it take very long to see that these claims had absolutely no basis in fact, as the unemployment rate pretty quickly went up to over 10 percent. And still today, the national unemployment rate remains over 9 percent. Since Barry signed the "stimulus" law, the Congressional Budget Office has also re-estimated its true cost as being somewhere around $830 Billion. In fact, according to a Congressional Budget Office analysis published in May, the maximum number of jobs created or "saved" as a result of the "stimulus" through the second quarter of this calendar year (which ends in June) will be 2.9 million. However, assuming that that's an accurate number, how many of those 2.9 million jobs are actually private sector jobs?


The CBO estimated that it was also possible that the number of jobs created or "saved" by Barry's "bogus stimulus" by the end of this quarter might be as few as 1.0 million. More importantly, according to the CBO, the economic impact of the stimulus is already waning, as if it ever gained any real traction in the first place. “The effects of ARRA on output peaked in the first half of 2010 and have since diminished, CBO estimates,” said the CBO. “The effects of ARRA on employment and unemployment are estimated to lag slightly behind the effects on output; CBO estimates that the employment effects began to wane at the end of 2010 and continued to do so in the first quarter of 2011.” By 2012, again according to the CBO, the number of jobs on average that Barry "Almighty" can even remotely lay claim to as being created or "saved" by his "bogus stimulus" will range from a low of 200,000 to a high of 700,000. Even if you take the CBO’s high-end estimate of 700,000 jobs, that works out to roughly to be a cost of $1,185,714 per job. Government efficiency at its best. You gotta be kiddin me. Thank God for all that "Hope and Change." The sheer lunacy on display here is simply unparalleled since the days of Jimmy "The Bonehead" Carter and "BJ" Clinton. It's all nothing more than one huge and very vicious circle that goes from Democrat to Democrat to Democrat. And yet, more Americans seem to be perfectly willing to hand control of the government and therefore the economy over to these leftwing incompetents who so obviously have no clue about what it takes for us to maintain a thriving economy. Seem to me that fits in quite well with the definition of insanity, because no matter which Democrat we elect, the outcome is always the same. The result being, of course, abject failure on all counts!

ECONOMY TANKING YET OBAMA MAINTAINS LEAD OVER OPPOSITION...

Americans' disapproval of how Barry "Almighty" is handling, or mishandling, the economy as well as our ballooning budget deficit has reached new highs amid broad frustration over the slow pace of our supposed economic recovery, at least according to a Washington Post-ABC New poll released on Tuesday. Now normally anything that comes from these two venerable members of the state controlled media, I take with a pretty good sized grain of salt. You can never really trust the results that they may come up with because they are constantly bending themselves into a pretzel to portray Barry in a positive light. But perhaps things have finally deteriorated to they point where even they can no longer ignore what's taking place. Even they have to now recognize what Barry is very purposely doing in his effort to destroy our economy. Also noted in the poll is the fact that the ratings boost Barry received after the killing of Osama bin Laden has pretty much dissipated, as many said it would, with his job approval rating having now fallen back to 47 percent. Forty-nine percent disapprove of his performance. Gee, I wonder what segment of our population makes up the largest portion of the 47 percent who approve of the job that he's doing? Want to make any wagers? Barry's approval rating bounced to 56 immediately after bin Laden was killed last month. Like this inept bumbler had anything to do with that little enterprise.



In this latest poll, fifty-nine percent, a new high by the way, gave Barry negative marks for his handling of the economy, up from 55 percent a month earlier. Barry's approval rating on the deficit issue hit a new low of 33 percent, down 6 points just since April. With his obvious unwillingness to anything whatsoever about our growing deficit, what exactly might that 33 percent might be thinking. It is surmised by many that the state of the economy poses a huge challenge for Barry, whose re-election in 2012 may depend on his ability to convince, most likely through all method of deception, voters that his economic policies have been successful. But how can any sane individual look at our current state of affairs and come to the conclusion that Barry's policies have been anything other than an abject failure. However, I think it can safely be said that failure is in the eye of the beholder. Because from Barry's socialist perspective, I'm sure he sees his policies as having been a colossal success. He better get the old spin machine cooking, because he's going to need to get really creative in how he portrays a floundering economy as being on the road to recovery. The survey reflects a broadly pessimistic public mood as high gasoline prices, sliding home values and high unemployment numbers raised concerns about the pace of the U.S. economic recovery, The Washington Post said.


Eighty-nine percent of Americans say the economy is in bad shape; 57 percent say any economic recovery has not yet started and 66 percent said the United States was seriously on the wrong track. So that must mean that at least a third of our fellow Americans think that the country is on the right track. Again, who is it that makes up that one third? Forty-five percent said they trust congressional Republicans over Barry to handle the economy, up 11 points since March. But the poll also shows that Barry is leading five out of six potential Republican presidential rivals but in a dead heat with former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. So, if 89 percent of us think the economy is sad shape, 57 percent of us say any economic recovery has yet to even get started and 66 percent say the country is headed in the wrong direction, how is it then that, at least according to this poll, Barry is beating all Republican comers. And a dead heat, by the way, is by no means anything to get excited about. With numbers like this, Barry should be getting trounced. What this tells me is that the candidates on our side are not articulating what it is that they are proposing in order to keep this country from going over a fiscal cliff. We need someone who is unafraid to get out there and loudly proclaim the conservative principles that can keep that from happening. We no longer have the luxury of being able to pussyfoot around. We need someone with the courage to go for Barry's jugular. Metaphorically speaking, of course.


Among all Americans, Barry and Romney are tied at 47 percent each. Among registered voters, Romney is ahead 49 percent to 46 percent. Now we know the blacks are solidly behind Barry, as are the unions, as well as 90 percent of academia and the media. Which means that whoever our candidate is, they are going to have their work cut out for them if we are going to be successful in our attempt to rid ourselves of Barack Hussein Obama. And I'm worried that Romney, after hearing his questionable position on global warming, as well as his being able to deal with the issue of Romneycare, and his, first he was for it and now he's against it, abortion stance, just isn't the guy we should be hitching our electoral wagon to. At least not yet. Romney, the current Republican front-runner, last week launched his second presidential campaign, saying Barry's economic policies were to blame for America's many economic woes. That's pretty much a no brainer, Mr. Romney is going to have to convince the American people that his plan to revive our struggling economy and to restore America to its proper place in the world will be based on solid conservative principles and not by his simply saying what it is he thinks we want to hear. He needs to demonstrate that he is as committed to the rescuing this country as are the rest of us. He cannot afford to alter his position on the issues based on the crowd that he happens to be standing in front of at any given time.


The above mentioned poll of 1,002 adults was conducted June 2-5 and has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
