Democrats go to great pains to paint themselves as being enthusiastic supporters of our military. Which, when you stop and think about it, is pretty odd since it’s been recent Democrat presidents, two if which I actually served under, who seemed interested only is using the military as a way of distracting attention away from their political troubles at home. And more recently still, it was Democrat presidents who had no trouble using the military as a giant Petri Dish. And as someone who has served under both Republican and Democrat Commanders-in-Chief, I’m here to tell you that things are always far better when there is a Republican in the White House.
Not only
to Democrats persist with their charade, they expect to be believed. Anyone who
has served under both Republican and Democrat presidents know who makes the
better Commander-in-Chief, and it sure ain’t the Democrats. But be that as it
may, it was just this past Tuesday, during an appearance on MS NOW’s “All In,”
that Commander-in-Chief wannabe Sen. Chris Van Hollen made the rather idiotic
claim that President Trump “completely disrespects the men and women of our
military.” This clown clearly has his sights set on becoming president. And so,
he will say anything in order to get a headline in an effort to keep his name
out there.
Van
Hollen said, “Donald Trump knew from the outset that these were all foreseeable
risks, likely risks. And yet he decided to go for it anyway. And here we are.
This is the war that Donald Trump said we had won five months ago. The war that
he said would be over in four or five weeks. Turned out he was wrong. It turns
out that Prime Minister Netanyahu of Israel was wrong. It turns out that U.S.
intelligence was right. But Donald Trump decided to once again ignore his own
intelligence agencies.” He added, “I think that our partners in the region are
losing trust in the United States by the day. I mean, after all, Donald Trump
kept changing the story on them."
He went
on to say, “So they’re looking around the world and finding China may be a more
reliable partner. So, this is hurting the United States. It is hurting our
troops. You mentioned the ships that are staying in the area. Of course, the
Abraham Lincoln was another example how Donald Trump completely disrespects the
men and women of our military, you know, didn’t care about what their parents
had to say. So, I think Chris is doing damage to the country economically. It’s
doing damage to our own military and yes, it’s doing damage to our credibility
around the region in the world.” Too funny, a Democrat who has no credibility, worried
about credibility.
Perhaps one
of our enterprising young ‘journalists’ could ask this clown to explain how it
is that the military seems to be having no problem when it comes to meeting
recruiting goals ahead of schedule or that re-enlistments are also at an
historical all-time high. No president since Ronald Reagan has shown the
military more respect than Donald Trump. Never in his life has Van Hollen worn
the uniform of his country. So, he should be careful about calling someone
disrespectful towards the military. Any member of Congress making such accusations
about the president should be required to present substantial evidence to
support the allegation or shut the fuck up.
Democrats
have disrespected the military by choosing to use it as a social engineering
experiment, instead of as a military force. Add to that the fact that the Democrats
have a history of pushing for huge cuts in the military’s budget. We also can’t
forget how, thanks to disastrous decisions made by Joey B’s regime when it came
to the pullout from Afghanistan, we lost 13 service members. I also seem to
recall that when President Trump honored members of the military at joint
sessions of Congress when he spoke, there were no Democrats who chose to stand
and applaud them. That was a very disgusting and disrespectful act, and Van
Hollen is one of the offenders.
Given
all that, it just makes his comment nothing more than a vile and nasty bit of
hypocrisy. Van Hollen really should keep his mouth shut. He gives aid and
comfort to Iran by claiming they are now stronger than before the conflict
started and that they are winning. This emboldens the terrorist regime and
gives them hope that they can wait out President Trump in the hope of getting
another weak Democrat president. Van Hollen disrespects all Americans, not just
the military. He likes it when he gets to keep child predators, murderers,
rapists, and drug dealers here in this country. But he seems especially fond of
those illegals that are also violent gang members.
It’s sad, really, that any
politician can make such accusations and not be held accountable! Combine that
with the unwillingness of those in our ‘fake news’ media to hold those like Van
Hollen accountable for doing nothing more than to spread lies and you have an
alliance the purpose of which is to do nothing more than to spew propaganda. Van
Hollen is obviously lying in an attempt to deceive and is completely ignorant,
or at the very least hasn’t been paying attention. This clown, like so many in
his party, never has anything positive to say. The Democrats have done nothing
for the American people. The party has become a joke and seem to have nobody in
charge.
