JOE BIDEN PAYS A VISIT TO THAT DEMOCRAT SUCCESS STORY, DETROIT…

I think we all recognize the fact the Barry & Co. never pass up an opportunity to blow a little smoke. Especially when we’re just 64 days from elections that could see the Republicans take control of the Senate. So I think it’s safe for us to assume that the Democrats will pull out all the stops in their effort to prevent that which are saying may be a foregone conclusion. But if there’s one thing the Democrats can count on as the election creeps ever closer, it’s that the American voter is far from being the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Which brings us to ‘Slow Joe’ Biden. Joe was in Detroit, that sterling example of just what can be accomplished when liberal Democrats set their mind to it, to ‘celebrate’ Labor Day. Several hundred people, mostly union types, showed up at old Tiger Stadium to hear ‘Slow Joe’ Biden speak Monday morning ahead of the organized labor's annual parade. Joe's speech helped kick off the start of the Detroit Labor Day parade. We’re told that this was the second time that ‘Slow Joe’ has been to Detroit on Labor Day in the past three years.

In his speech ‘Slow Joe’ made the rather idiotic claim that the power of the union and how it is that the union really is the reason why many of us have rights. What the Hell is he talking about? Frankly, I thought the reason that we have the rights that we do was because of our Constitution, not because of corrupt unions. And ‘Slow Joe’ spoke of the importance of all Americans sticking together and, if we do that, how we will succeed. But if we were to stick together on our present course, there’s no way we’ll ever succeed.

And oddly enough, ‘Slow Joe’ also said that he believes if the middle class does well, so will everyone else. But the fact is that ‘Slow Joe’ is doing nothing more than blowing smoke, because today’s middle class is not doing anywhere near what could safely be described as, well. And the sad fact of the matter is that with the election, and then re-election of ‘Slow Joe’ and his boss, efforts that had long been underway to destroy that same middle class to which Joe cheerfully referred, slipped fully into full overdrive.

Old ‘Slow Joe’ also made the claim, "The American people have not stopped dreaming. The American people have not walked away from what they believe they are entitled to. Just give them a chance! No handout - just give them a chance!" What the American people feel they are "entitled to"? What is that might that be? What the Democrats, including ‘Slow Joe’ and his buddy Barry, including the Democrat Party as a whole, are all about, is providing handouts as a way of getting more people addicted to those government handouts.

‘Slow Joe’ left his ‘supporters’ with the reassurance that America should not give up and that we are coming back. According to these guys we’ve been coming back for the last five years, and yet many are worse off today than they were when Barry and ‘Slow Joe’ was first elected. Because the sad reality is, is that many Americans have already given up not only on the American dream but they’ve also given up on the notion that their children will go on to enjoy a better life than was the one enjoyed by their parents.

Now I’m quite sure that it was all just a coincidence that ‘Slow Joe’ was in town on the very same day that Michigan saw its first minimum wage increase in six years. The wage increased by 10 percent and is the kick-off to a 25 percent overall increase before it will be capped at $9.25 in 2018. ‘Slow Joe’ was preceded on the stage by labor leaders, Democrat gubernatorial candidate Mark Schauer and Gary Peters, the Democrat nominee for the Senate.

The American people must somehow be made to see through charades like the one perpetrated by ‘Slow Joe’, and the other Democrats that appeared with him, in Detroit. And, they must understand that the Democrat Party has a vested interest in bringing about the end of the middle class, at least as it has come to be known. It’s seen by them as being a necessity if they are to have any hope of bringing about their ever-elusive socialist ‘utopia’ where the government provides all, but with a small catch. That being, you live your life as you are told to live it.
