BARRY & CO., THE PARTY CREW…
So as the world continues its unraveling, with the Middle East becoming increasingly volatile and Vlad Putin pushing the envelope regarding the Ukraine, where was it that our less than stellar Secretary of State, John Kerry Heinz could be found this Labor Day? Was it huddled in the Situation Room with Barry working to devise a strategy to deal with the threat posed in Iraq by the terrorist group, ISIS? Well, not exactly. Because apparently Mr. Kerry-Heinz felt the need to spend his Labor Day enjoying himself by doing a little kiteboarding, at a time when Barry & Co., admittedly, still has yet to come up with any sort of strategy for dealing with ISIS.
We’re told that Kerry-Heinz’s last documented work-related activity was seen in the pages of Saturday’s New York Times, in the form of some stupid op-ed entitled "To Defeat Terror, We Need the World’s Help: The Threat of ISIS Demands A Global Coalition." It was during his 2004 presidential campaign, Kerry-Heinz, whose wife inherited her late Republican husband’s ketchup fortune, genuinely believed that his enthusiasm for water sports would make him seem like a virile everyman opponent for George W. Bush. However, voters didn’t quite see it the same way. This was one instance where they were able to recognize a moron when they saw one.
It may sound strange but it seems to me that having fun, whether it’s by playing an endless number of rounds of golf like Barry, or doing a little kiteboarding like Kerry-Heinz, is the number one priority of these people. The primary objective of those who comprise Barry & Co. seems to be how much of the taxpayers’ money they can waste in their effort to take full advantage of the perks that go along with their respective high office. They seem to have very little interest in actually performing the job required. They would rather pontificate about the problems that exist here at home, and in the world, than actually do anything about them.
